If you have cwm 5.0.2.8 so thats the problem you have to flash the recovery again or flash the whole stock firmware.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Bootloop

Hi. Please help. I have been running CM10.1 on my rooted tablet and I decided to try CM11. I don't know what I have done but CM11 did not work so I tried to go back to CM10.1, and that just gets stuck on the boot screen. I have tried several different Roms and they all get stuck on the boot screen. The only Rom that will work is CM9.1? I don't know what I could have done to cause this. I am running Philz Touch 6.12.8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not sure. I don't think so.

Your EFS seems to be broken for some reason... that´s why it won´t boot into system....
this got reported in a german forum, because 2 guys flashed CWM 6.0.4.4-Touch on the device... CWM 6.0.4.4-Touch not released for the Tab 2 - it was for a different device and flashing that recovery brokes EFS for them.

Yeah. That makes sense as I did put a version of CWM touch on. And the trouble started after that. Just need to try and find a solution to sort it now. Thanks for your help

Latest CWM Touch for our Device 6.0.2.7 ... i am sure you used a file for a different device and that broke your EFS!
Do you still have the file? you can upload it for me and send me a private message with the link, i can take a look on it. Please don't post the file here in the thread (i do not like to see someone else flashing it and breaking his efs).

You know the sticky threads that explain how to flash a rom? They're full of information. You can flash the factory image in a few minutes.

As said above flash stock in fastboot or push/sideload a custom rom with adb in (custom) recovery.

You're lucky that you got update. That's odd error.
What's your location? None else has received update yet. Try factory resetting or flash stock ROM.

Can I installs the recovery only via fastboot ?
Yes you can flash CWM via fastboot, but you need to do steps again to be able to flash it.

[Req] Stock Recovery D80020y

Hi,
I rooted my LG G2 ATT using Stump root, then tried to install TWRP recovery using TWRP Manager, which corrupted stock recovery. as I didn't have unlocked bootloader, I installed AutoRec.apk and successfully installed TWRP recovery to make backup of System.
Now I need to revert to Stock recovery. But Unfortunately I don't have its backup.
Can someone please upload Stock recovery of D80020y?
Thanks

I can send you the same, but problem you would encounter will be, It won't let you flash. As Stock kernel isn't Bumped n best goes with Dorimanx.
So if you still need one, do let m know, I'll hook u up with.

It says here that I cannot update if I rooted my phone,
Is there any way that I can update my phone with this new update, and not having any issues at all.
Kindly see attached file, I freaked out when I read this.
Sorry to trouble you guys, I'm just a newbie with this kind of rooting thing, seeking out help. Thanks
Up.. Please I need your help, I just want to know if it is safe or not. Or if there's any workaround with this one.
Thanks
If you have a root, do not try to update on usual way - can damage your phone!
