[Q] Mobile phone is recording calls in sloooow mooootion! - General Questions and Answers

thank you for the help in advance.
i have a problem.
every few calls or so are recorded in slow motion - double slow. i know its double because 10 minute conversation is 20 minutes long in that case.
i dont know whats wrong.
its not the app because i used few of them and this is happening every time - sometimes i ok sometimes i not. voice uplink or downlink does this every time but i use the mic, and during that time that happens.
i assume its not the app because the call recorder that is intergrated in the phone (i didnt even know this was available until i saw bunch of folders with recordings) - that recording suffers with this anomaly on exact same calls. sometimes obviously happent internaly.
help please.

My tracks stops recording abruptly

I am not sure if this is a bug. I cycle every day and I use 'My Tracks' to record my trail. But the problem I face is, every day when I hit about 1 hour (not exactly 1 hour but around 1 hour) time the recording stops abruptly. My first impression was that GPS connectivity might have been lost but it happened consistently all week.
Is this a bug? Does anyone else have such a problem? And, clearly My tracks isn't working well for me, so any alternatives?

Anyone who was able to record calls with good quality on a Chacha?
I read some threads, but didn't find any answer there which is strange since even Symbian was able to record calls.
Will any custom ROM be any help there?
try Auto Call Recorder or some app like it on google play !

This does not really work. It just turns the microphone so sensitive that it will record the other side of the call (if you turn it loud enough). But the things you say will be recorded 10 times louder.
Even Symbian could record calls with a good quality on both sides, so why can't Android?
So there were no changes yet. I figured out that you will need a patch for that.
Anyone who has an idea what to do there bzw. how to port this to the Chacha?

[Q] Launcher Reset! and MMS Problem

I have a htc sensation. I have two problems; I hope you will help me.
Here's my problems:
While mobile network is off and I send mms my mobile uses mobile network and sends and receives data.
I know that for sending a mms, mobile should send and receive data but it uses more than usually must use and it cost more than a normal mms cost. (Difference between pays is too much)
and
Sometimes the scene UI Resets! A white screen with htc 's name comes and launcher resets!!!! somedays 5 to 8 times in a day somedays it doesnt happen!
What should I do?
a third problem that I noticed is when I', recording video screen time out works! and after 45 sec turns screen off and video recording stops

When video recording, launch the camera app instead of the video cam app then switch to video recording by sliding the selector to video. Try it, see if it still time outs after 45 seconds.

yes; I always do that ... and this problem sometimes happens and sometimes not!
Voice recording is awful

incall audio turns down

during a call volume randomly just turns down to an inaudible level to the point i just gotta hang up on the person and call back. is this a firmware issue? common or just some setting im messing? at the moment im running Mahdi rom latest version

Generally I have facing the same problem while i was using Wi-fi network for making calls. If it happens regular basis on each and every call there must be a firmware issue.
OR Else, you can check with your service provider once, just for double check.

yea it happens on every single call. but i was on the phone last night on a long call and i was able to almost make it about 45 min without it doing it, but i fixed it by pulling the phone from my face and let the screen turn on then i put it back to my face and after a 3-5second delay the audio bursted up to normal listening levels, but either way i am gonna flash cm11 and try it see if it still happens.

Call problem and various bugs

Hello Guys,
I'm having serious problems with my XZP
I bought it on september 2017, for 5 months worked like a charm.
After february 2018 he started to get mad without any reason, i wasn't able to make any call even pressing several time the call button in recent call list, after 40 sec the phone start to call also if was locked in my pocket.
Got slow for no reason during the normal use (switching tabs on chrome, opening apps ecc), and getting hot for no reason.
Checked the background apps and not found one that was using too much battery (I use same apps, i don't download suspicious app from play store/internet).
I performed a system restore by phone settings, all good, but after almost one month i've got the same problems.
I decide to return it back to amazon and take a brand new one.
New one arrived, after 1 month i've got similar problems, but, when I was trying to make a phone call, the phone made no tone, even if someone answered there was no sound on both phones, sometimes also after many attemps or reboots, i had the same problem, when my friend called me back, there was no issues.
During a phone call, if a tone was played (like the one at the supermarket for announcments) the microphone got mute without any reason and without notify on the dispaly, so i had to call back.
During a video, the screen freezed, i thougt that could be normal, but the video was saved with that problem(it's ridiculous that a "super camera phone" freezes for a 30 sec video).
The phone doesn't ring anymore, no notification sound, no system sound until you reboot it.
Now, I repaired the software with xperia companion (uploaded on the phone, clean), and after 20 days, i've just got similar issue: During a phone call, no tone and no voice at the answer.
Problem with audio, during listening to music or watching a video, if i receive a notification, the volume remains low and i have to pause/play to get the audio back.
With whatsapp, when i listen to vocal messages i get the same problem, also if i open the keyboard
I really don't know what i have to do, i cannot reset every month the phone because is buggy.
I wroted also to xperia support, but they suggested me to repair the software... again?
P.S. I use Huawei 2 Smartwatch, could be the source of my problems?
All the calls are intended as normal calls and not Voip

its your watch.
I cant determinely speak, but a normal XZP shouldnt act like that, also its been replaced once or twice in your case so it cant be the unit it self its some thing else, try to repair and not use the watch with it and see how it goes.

Hi Mate,
I disconnected the watch while facing the low playback audio, immediately the audio get louder as it should.
The problem is the watch, now i will see if there are other case, if my watch is defective and replace it, or give away.

after more than one month using Huawei watch 2 as standalone i didn't faced any problem descrived above...
damn watch.
