I have a micromax a110, with stock recovery and Jelly bean 4.1.1.
While rooting with the batch file, it throws an error - mount permission denied (are you root?)
While flashing the recovery, through flash tools
BROM ERROR: S_DA_SOC_CHECK_FAIL (3013)
SOC verification fail!
I got same error ...........i tried for 3 days but could not find solution.

Actually i wanted to root my MMX Stock 4.1.1 when use sp tool it giving this error
then flashed Stock Cynus T2 ICS through stock recovery

then rooted phone using root with binary restore then installed mobile uncle from play store then flashed cwm recovery.
then flashed Cynus T2 Stock JellyBean V17.01 using cwm recovery.

This JB is pre rooted and cwm.
Finally i got rooted JB.
SP tool giving me also same error..That is error of SP tool....you need to download latest SP tool...
Even Latest gave the same error !

I even tried to download the latest version, it gave the same error. Need to check with downgrading and then re installing the JB.

if you are having micromax new version phone i.e with jb out of the box try to flash with this sptool

Hi all,
I have a xolo a800 . i was able to root it when i got the phone using bin4ary root method as i had ICS on the phone.
However after updating the phone i am not able to rrot the phone using the same method. I do have the recovery image for the xolo a800 but i really dont know how to root the phone. i tried the SP tools method but my phone doesnt do anything after i do the write memory. i guess im missing out on the scattered file and also the hex values.
Can somebody please help me with a step by step method for rooting the xolo a800 with official jellybean update ( not ICS xolo a800).
Im eagerly waiting.

I cracked how to root xolo a800 jelly bean .
First download the cwm recovery from xda and download mt6577 scattering file. Now download sp flash tool and super user zip file from anywhere and follow the sp tool flashing process. After flashing the recovery through sp flash tool enter recovery \by holding power and vol up and flash the super user zip and you are done

Hi,
Can you pls provide the stock 4.1.1 flashable zip? I really need it. I downgraded my phone to ICS. I cant seem to find the stock 4.1.1 anywhere. The stock roms on some websites says its 4.1.2 but after downloading it and checking the build.prop, its ICS. Please?

i rooted my phone to upgrade it jelly bean. for that i also flashed cwm recovery but afterwards i thought that i should upgrade from the micromax store. so i reversed this process with stock recovery and unrooted it and now when i try to open stock recovery nothing comes when i open recovery mode(except a sleeping android) and when i open the factory mode the working options come but when i try to open any one of them they don't open. what should i do? :crying::crying::crying:
i'm really tensed coz i'm new to all this.
If you have Stock JB then just flash again it with SP Tool
Your phone become unroot with working Stock recovery.

there are 3 updates availible here which one you would prefer.
And can i update my phone to jelly bean by again installing cwm.(i had previously tried with SP Tool but wasn't able to understand how to do it)
If u want to update from mmx svc then take the phone as it is they won't be looking at your recovery or any phone they just flash it with sp flash rool

best rom till date is can galaxy rom v.3 based on 4.1.2
for recovery use cwm 6.0.2.8 for canvas 2 ... then root the device

if download stock ROM and place supersu in /system/app and firmware upgrade, will it root my phone?

i was running my mmx A110 on a stock 4.1.1 rooted jb rom which was flashed with sp tools .
now i just wanted to go to suvi so i decided that it might be good if i downgraded and then root my deviceagain installing custom recovery {CWM}
but the problem is whenever i downgrade or upgrade my rom i need to restore my IMEI because it just shows that my cell has an invalid IMEI so i HAVE TO INSTALL MOBILEUNCLE TOOLS.
SEE NOW HERE IS WHEN THE TROUBLE STARTS
1> I downgraded with sp flash tools ..... successful.
2> Rooted my device ..........................successful.
3> tried to install MOBILE UNCLE TOOLS......... installed but not opening.
So then i formated the phone with flash tools and then again flashed 4.0.4 then tried to install mtk but still no success [installed but not opening]
tried other app but they open without any problem.
SO GUYS NOW I AM TOTALLY F***ED
PLEASE
NEED HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS I AM A COLLEGE GOING STUDENT AND NEED IT FOR MANY PURPOSES

To all the new members i request not to qoute the full post....instead qoute a part of it or make a direct reply..or otherwise it makes the thread really ugly.
Problem solved
It is a problem with the MTK Mobile Uncle tools. Download a old version of the app. It will work. If u dont have i am uploading in general section now. Download from there
EMMC is not supported by MT6571
I have an above error when downloading stock rom to my micromax a65
my sp flash tool version is 5.1344.214
when i loaded scatter file the message occours -"EMMC is not supported by MT6571"
i tried many times but no result
i have to install new stock rom quickly PLEASE HELP.
