Cheers,

Nice and sleek design. Love the app functionalities.
There's a bug though. Whenever you start a timer, pause it, delete it and then create another. The pause button remains to "play"

Beautiful! I don't have the issue of pause button remains to play, running on Pantech A850L Stock 4.1.2

Very nice) I also don't have problems with pause button on my samsung galaxy s

@kayusumi/@Balter could you please try this steps to be sure the pause/play button is working?
Start a timer, tap on pause (the time flash and the button turn as play), when still in pause delete the timer with the trashcan, set a new timer, and you should see the PLAY button instead of the pause.
Could you confirm this bug?
Thanks you all.
Sandro, Pizza Entertainment

Ok, if doing so, the new timer would start with a play button
I am sorry that I didn`t see "pause it", I just delete it when running and create a new one

Wow!!!!
Beautiful Timer got a mini review on Android Police (with 40 other apps but it is ANDROID POLICE!!!)
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...-the-last-2-weeks-61813-7313/#beautiful-timer
Thanks a lot.

Very nice looking timer Has some very nice features and options too.
I had some questions and suggestions:
Questions:
1. Will you be adding customizable colours to the timer wheel by any chance? (Like you can change the timer name, be able to customize the colour too.)
2. Are there any small widgets (eg: 1x1) that can show the time remaining on a/the particular timer(s)? I did notice you have a larger widget for selecting/starting saved timers, but that's not what I'm after. I would like to see a small widget that simply shows the Timer name, circle icon remaining and time remaining.
Suggestion: I would like to be able to link timers together (ie: Expiry of Timer 1 sounds the alarm and starts Timer 2. Timer 2 could be linked to start Timer 3, or even a new instance of Timer 1 (and increment/ decrement a user defined counter?).) Yes, this sounds similar to a Tabata timer, but that's not the intent.
I have recently needed to use an icepack due to injury and I haven't been able to find a good timer that can link timers together.
The use case is as follows: 20 mins of icepack, 120 mins of rest, 5 mins of prep, repeat. If I could link timers together, I could easily manage this without having to keep restarting the timers each time.
Thanks.

Widget oddity
Hi,
I created some presets with the timer which I have now deleted as I don't want to use them anymore. For some reason, these presets always appear when I put the widget on the desktop. They aren't appearing in the app itself though.
This has occurred even after installing on a new device (must be linked to my Google account or may be related to a Titanium backup). I've tried clearing app data / reinstalling but they still appear. Is there anyway to clear the presets from the widget?
Thanks.
James

Hello James,
we do use google data backup so that the presets should be saved on the cloud. It may be that you hit a very strange bug where you can't delete it. Keep trying to delete the presets within the app. Eventually google will sync your presets and you'd be ready to go.
Cheers.

Hi,
I have been using your timer for close to TEN years - love it!!! - especially the snooze buttons when the app is alarming.
But I was using it on an Android 5 phone.
I recently moved to an android 10 phone (Pixel 4a) and your app has some significant issues:
1) It will no longer snooze when you press the volume buttons.
2) It does not reliably turn on the display when the phone is locked
3) It does not show your full-screen alarm page when the phone is locked.
4) After I unlock my phone, your alarm page only has a "Dismiss" button on that screen - there is no "restart" or "Snooze" buttons on it.
So, is there any chance of you updating your app to work with the newer versions of Android?

[APP] Kitchen Timer PRO

Are you sick of twirling a dial or pressing an up/down selector 30 times to set a simple timer? Then this is the timer app for you!
I wrote this free app for power users who want a fast UI. Just key in the timer delay in minutes and hit "Add" button and the timer will begin.
I'd be interested in getting feedback as XDA readers tend to be power users and I'm interested to see what features you all would like to see.
Features:
- Ergonomic timer entry
- Does not acquire wake-locks and so will not drain your battery unlike other timers
- Uses system alarm manager and robustly stores alarms so that the alarm doesn't fail when the app is closed
- Less aggressive/annoying timer sound (rooster loops every few seconds instead of without delay)
- Less aggressive/annoying vibrate settings (as above)

sweet and simple
Very nice work.
1 suggestion.
Often when cooking we you have 3 or 4 things to put on at different times.
Could you add different items separately with their own time:
i.e.
item 1 - pie t-45
item 2 - chips t-25
item 3 - peas t-10
Click start and 45 minutes starts counting down, as set by the longest time, or just enter longest first. 20 mins in "chips" notification goes off and then peas 35 mins later. That way dinner is all synchronised!
Nice concept and a great start.
It really needs the ability to time seconds (full minutes only in the current version) and multiple timers (I typically have two or three running when I cook).
As a suggestion as to how to position yourself with your customers, I'm completely put off though by an app that is still not feature complete (no preferences, as a quick find), is hopelessly crippled in the free version (60-minute limit), and has ads to add insult to injury.
I agree with the comments above. A great start, but needs to display and time by seconds, and needs to have at least 3 timers running consecutively.
Suggestion: web link to all your apps https://market.android.com/search?q=droidgram&so=1&c=apps&rdid=com.droidgram.timer&rdot=1?
Thanks for the initial feedback. Multiple timers is one of the key planned features and I hope to have this pushed out soon!
Nice start, I like the easy way to enter the time.
One suggestion: add repeating times. There are some situations where you need the possibility that a certain about of time must be repeated n times. I only know one timer (Yata! http://market.android.com/details?id=com.pelletiere.android.reallysimpletimer) who can almost do that (it's just possible to repeat over and over but not to define something like: countdown 05'30" six times, play sound after each cycle, than stop).
Would be nice if you can do that.
Cheers, Klausi

The app webpage gives details on the permission usage: http://droidgram.com/forum/Timer
Basically, it needs vibrate to make the phone vibrate on alarm. Internet and coarse location is required to serve up AdMob adverts and also is used for analytics to track errors etc.

Thanks for the feedback. It's a bit of a tough question regarding some things e.g. release with preferences not complete.
In the end, I wanted to indicate that this is coming, but didn't want to delay the release by doing all these features up front. This way, I can get feedback on what features are important. A bit of a trade-off, I know, but as an independent programmer, I have limited time and resources so can only do the best I can as a single developer.
Updated now, the free version now has a limit of 180 minutes, which should hopefully make it more useful.
Updated to restore notification on reboot of device.
I think the app now is rock solid stable, so now I will work on additional features:
- Choice of alarm tone
- Multiple timers
At the moment, if you install both the free and pro version, you can use them together to get 2 timers at the same time.
v2.01 released
New version released. Key new features:
Add 'Seconds Mode' to allow timers to be set also in seconds
Custom alarm ringtone (by popular request)
Show alarm time in notification bar when timer is set.
Future features scheduled:
Multiple timers
App is available for free with a donate option. Please donate to support further development and additional features.
v2.1 released
3 new features for better ergonomics
http://droidgram.com/forum/Timer
- Add short timer mode
- Add tens of seconds first option
- Add tap to toggle mode feature

[APP] Simple Stopwatch and Timer [Android App 2.1+ ]

Hi, I am new to the forum and just built my first app, and I wanted to put it here for you guys to use and give me feedback about what you like, what you don't like if you think its useful?
I hope this is the right forum and I am not breaking any rules by posting here.( I read the sticky first)
NEW! Interval Training Mode Added.
Unfortunately, I decided to go ad supported as I spent many weeks on this
donations amounted to less that $4.00
However I am offering the paid / donate version (no ads and can save more exercises in the interval training mode)
free of charge to those who helped me and are continually helping me with the development of this via feedback and suggestions.
Just email me and I will send you a copy.
Let me know what features you would like that this lacks.
Its a free Stopwatch with three modes
1) Stopwatch with Lap Timer
2) Countdown Timer
3) Repeating Countdown Timer (Select repeating Timer when setting countdown time) E.g Alarm beeps every 1 minute, can be used for circuit training etc)
I also added a Lap Stats function which shows your fastest lap, slowest lap and avg speed.
Version 1.0.7 (update)
Elapsed Time and Remaining Time on Notification Bar (Updates every minute) -c00ller
Fixed Menu Settings (User preferences should work now) - lots of reports about this one
Added Lap counter text in landscape mode. - fifarunner
Automatically remove zeros, when user enters time via keypad. - c00ller
Updates
Added User Preferences to enable / disable haptic feedback
Changed the UI/ Layout a bit, you can now select modes by pressing icons at the bottom of the screen
Added a service that should keep the Stopwatch from timing out, I would really appreciate it if you can let me know if the problem still exists.
Added an option to allow the stop button to register as a lap.
Reduced the font size to make landscape mode work on LDPI devices
More features coming soon...hopefully I will be able to roll out updates a bit faster in the future.
Features and Issues requested and pointed out by users...Thanks Everyone for your continuing feedback.
Current Issue
-Need to create service to keep watch running in background [Gusar]
-Landscape on ldpi devices not showing correctly [fiffarunner]
Feature Requests by Members
-Add multiple timers [JVogler]
-Fix Lap layout in landscape [Alouch]
-Lap recorded on Stop and export laptimes [JimmyN]
-Add vibration rather than sound option on alarm [A.Priori]
-Save timers [treesurf]
-Custom Alarm tones [beardedchild]
EDIT: I also forgot to mention I used a Tmobile G2 for my testing which has a hdpi screen, 480x800.. so if you guys with different screen resolutions and tablets can let me know if you have any problems with the way the program layout etc please let me know, I would really appreciate your feedback. I tried using the emulator but it would crash frequently on my pc.

Sweeeet! Simple, but does the job. And looks good while doing it too.
One problem: Exit the app while the countdown is running and when the timer reaches zero, I'm greeted by the alarm and a force close message.
And a suggestion: An icon in the statusbar if there's a countdown running in the background.
Thanks a million Gusar321. I will definitly look into that bug and thanks also for the suggestion, I really appreciate the feedback.
Hey Gusar321, just wanted to let you know I updated the app and added the notification feature in the status bar. Also credited you on the update in the market. (Whats new section) Thanks again
I'm so disgusted with SPB Time (a not cheap paid app) missing alarms and draining battery with no support from developers...I uninstalled. I miss the repeating countdown timer for my heavy-bag work though. Going to give this a try and report back.
Will be running on Atrix BTW
EDIT: Just tried, would be great to have multiple timers at once. One to sound every minute, and then a different sound every 3 minutes. A way to achieve that would make it possible to do a whole workout without ever having to reset timer.
It looks great so far though!
Thanks for the feedback JVogler, I am glad that you mentioned that, because that is on my list a timer that can be set at different intervals. Right now I am working on keeping the timer running in the background as a Service, (thanks Gusar for reporting the issue).
very nice, gave it 5 stars.
Wow, thanks A.Priori , you guys are really giving me the ecouragment to keep improving and developing this app more. I really appreciate it.
By sometime next week, I will release a list of the features that I plan on putting in this app.
Hi spawn782
thanks for the app, nice and sleek.
I was missing this since I go Cyanogen.
Just something with the landscape mode, I think it should be redesigned a little.
As you can see on screenshot, the bottom is half cut when taking lap, and when taking new lap, it stays on the first (when it can maybe autoscroll ?).
Maybe you can just remove the grey at the top ?
Otherwise, very nice app, and keep your effort updating it
It's a 5 star for me.
Screenshot :
very nice indeed! thanks
One question, why does it need internet access, as you don't have any advertisements?
Ok, did some testing on my HTC Wildfire(240x320), works well in portrait.
But...Landscape doesn't:
This is in timer and in stopwatch mode, so landscape needs some more time. If you'd like me to test some stuff, pm me or send me an email
Thanks Alouch47, I will work on the landscape mode. I see fifarunnerr also has a problem with the landscape mode so I will definitly have to do some more work on that (thanks fifarunnerr for the offer to help, I may send you an apk after I am finished with the updates).
I do have a question about the landscape mode though, I was thinking that maybe its a mode that you would use in a scenario when you are exercising and you put the phone down a distance away from you. This is the reason why I made the numbers much bigger in this mode, so you can it from a further distance. In such a mode do you think the laptimer will be useful? I was thinking t maybe just cut off that part in landscape mode? You would still be able to record laps, but they will be visible when you return to portrait.
What do you think about that idea? Is the laptimer critical to users in landscape mode?
With regards to the Internet Access that Odyon asked about, its because I run analytics in the program. The reason being is that the anroid market analytics is really delayed for me. Today is the 11th of August and latest android market data (statistics) is is still on the 8th of August
Have to say that this shows promise, I would like to make an observation, let's say I'm using the stopwatch to time a 3 lap race, I click lap at the end of lap 1 and the time for lap 1 is shown, the same at the end of lap 2 the lap time is shown (lap 2) however I click stop at the end of the 3rd lap ( end of the race) and I would expect to see the lap time for lap 3 however this doesn't appear can this be implemented?
Also a useful function would be the ability to export your lap times as a text file.
looking forward to further updates.
I just installed it.
Very useful and simple to use.
thanks
yes that can be implemented, (lap on stop) and will be added to feature requests. I will update the first post
Very well designed, simplicity is the way to beauty.
I´m also missed the timer on my cyanogen rom so, thanks so much for your work.
Best regards.
thanks mhut
This is a very nice looking timer, however in terms of functionality and quick use, I can't find anything better than UltraChron Stopwatch
Notice how on the bottom there is a very easy and intuitive way to switch between stopwatch and countdown modes. Your app requires pressing Menu, Set Timer, adjusting the time, Set Timer button, then start. With UltraChron you click Timer, adjust time, then start. I just think your app's current method of using the same screen for two functions is a bit less elegant than it could be. Another feature it has that I don't think I can live without is it shows time left in the notification bar when you have a timer on, and updates every minute with the number of minutes left. I am not trying to tell you to copy this app, I am just saying this app has been around for a long time and you can learn from its ideas.
Also, your app only allows the numbers to be changed with the arrows. I think it would also be nice to be able to press the number itself to change it directly via on screen keyboard (just like changing alarm clock times, which give both up and down buttons as well as direct input).
I'm looking forward to seeing the growth of this app, and I hope my suggestions have helped.
BTW this is my post number 1337
Thanks c00ller, I appreciate your feedback and opinions and I agree with your comments (great points about the usability) and they are on my list to be implemented, but I figured it would be best for me to get it out first and then start rolling out the updates as I get them completed. Thanks for your feedback and I will implement these changes over the next couple of updates.
Hi Guys, I just wanted to let you know that I updated the app a bit. Sorry I have not been able to add all of the features suggested so far, but I spent most of the time trying to fix bugs that caused force closes. I hope that I have fixed most of the bugs so that I can now roll out feature updates quicker that before.
Again, thank you very much for your feedback and support.

[APP] [>= 2.1] Calendar Notifier (recurrent events notification)

This application implements the recurrent reminders for calendar alarms, which strangely has not been included in any version of Android.
With this application you can set the sound, vibration type, number of repeats and interval between them of each calendar event reminders, and even set separately the settings of each of the calendars.
This application is a battery, and runs only when it is displaying an alert.
Note: Remember to disable the standard application reminders in order to don't duplicate the first reminder.
BUGS
Please, in case of bugs you can post the description (logcat appreciated) in this
thread or directly by email.
PERMISSIONS
This application uses the next related permissions:
READ_CALENDAR and WRITE_CALENDAR
In order to obtains access to the calendar events
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
In order to run when the device boot ends
READ_PHONE_STATE
In order to known if a phone call is running (to autosnooze)
VIBRATE
To vibrate (if configured)
WAKE_LOCK
To make screen on when notify (if configured)

I have been looking for this! Installed, testing, will see how it goes. I am more than willing to buy / donate when an app proves that it works. Thank you
Hi, thanks for this good app. Please continue the good work.
I noticed a bug since the latest update: now I was forced to close the reminder window because it was stuck (either if you click snooze or dismiss, it's the same problem).
Before this update, the reminder window closed itself properly, just after you clicked snooze or dismiss.
Hope you can fix this.
Best regards.

I had that too! It needed to presses to dismiss and then it did an FC. I thought it was my humble little phone.
And it is fixed! Outstanding, great support.
The other feature I really appreciate is that the Notifier works on calendars that are not visible. I have one named "hidden" that has daily reminders of little things that I forget, but the Notifier picks up ALL alarms in ALL calendars.
Perfect app, more than I had hoped it would do. I bought the unlock, thank you

Great news everybody TimeSwipe now supports tablets!
I created TimeSwipe as a simple way to use timers in a new intuitive way!
TimeSwipe is easy, fast and reliable. Now with support on all tablet sizes, at least 7" and 10"
Well what does it do and how does it do it?
You can use it as a countdown timer or as a stopwatch. You swipe the seekbars to set a time and press start, and now you have got your self a countdown timer. If you dont set a time by using the seekbars, it will start as a stopwatch. Simple? yeah I know.
The timers run in a foreground service and the timers is visible in the notification bar. If you would turn off your phone, or the app craches (god forbid). Then everything is stored and ready to proceed like nothing ever happend on your next launch.
Feature list:
- Phone and tablet support
- Countdown timer
- Stopwatch
- Get notifications in your status bar
- See current timers in your status bar
- The new Android design on all devices from version 2.3.3 Gingerbread
You got pro?
If you get the pro version (which is awesome) you can save and reuse timers, this is really sweet and well worth 1$, since you support me and the development.
With pro you can start multiple countdown timers and stopwatches at the same time, save them, name them and reuse them. It's also ad free, phew.
You got a widget?
Nope.
But it would be a cool feature to add in the future.

This is a lite version of TimeSwipe limited to 1 timer.

AFAIK, you can, but in the paid apps section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=993
Maybe you want to post it there...
Okey will do. Thank you.

I would post in the new thread but it's not up yet. I've been using this app for a couple days and it works great, clean simple interface and easy to use. I love it. I would like it if in the notification bar the timers could be separated out and not say "two timers running". Also the ability to name them would be awesome. I'm always having to set multiple timers at work and this works great.

I cant post in that forum yet since havent been member that long. But I'm glad you like it and are using it daily
I have thought about showing two notifications when running but it cant be done unless I start up two foreground services, and that wouldn't be good for battery, if its even possible. I'm gonna try a workaround to this because I see the benefit of this feature.
I'm thinking of two renaming options:
1. The ability to set a name on a timer just like that.
2. The ability to save timers (with name) and get some history, though this solution would only work for count-down timers.
Thank you for your feedback, this keeps me going for a while In the next update it's possible to change to the dark theme, gonna be released tonight.
The new theme looks nice :good:. Is it possible to kill the alarm sound like a regular alarm? For example, you set the alarm time to go off for 30 seconds it'll keep ringing no matter what for 30 seconds, even after unlocking the phone and deleting the alarm. Sometimes the default 3 seconds isnt enough since it doesn't loop, and you're not in the room. Or if its in your pocket and it keeps ringing for a long time.

Yeah I know about your concerns and I have tried to figure out a good solution to this. Unfortunate you cant create a alertdialog like the built in alarm, since it has to be inside the app. (You dont want an alarm dialog to popup during a game) but maybe I could view a alertdialog when the user is in the app. Or add a stop alarm button.

A free version is now available on Google play, find it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.unzippedlabs.timeswipefree
New version
Hi all
I have updated TimeSwipe free with a few fixes.
I removed the guide when you run the app for the first time.
The alarm should work better now and you can cancel it if you set an alarm interval greater then 4 seconds. This is also better explained in settings now.
I also added the option to not view the current timer in the notification since this updates the notification every second it can start blinking when used with other apps. So its now possible to disable that feature.
I also did a big updated of the paid version.
You can now save and rename your timers, and its super easy to access them from the side menu so you can reuse the timers over and over again. The fixes in the free version also applies on the paid version.
Hope you like the updates, and please give me feedback.
Btw, do you guys think there should be the same functionality in the free version as in the paid, but with ads? What is a good practice here?
Great news everyone!
I just added tablet support which will work on 7" and 10" displays. I also fixed the layout for phones, or rather, people with big phones
I realy hope you will enjoy TimeSwipe on your tablet as much as on your phone.
Keep me posted with feature requests or bug reports.
I updated the thread with a cool image on a tablet aswell

Google+ Baby Untouch beta page
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of baby friendly contents on web, app, YouTube, and other video source. The app allows you to open any of those contents for your baby and protect your phone from being destroyed by baby random clicking.
*******************************************************************************************************************
Features:
★ Block touch on any apps, including YouTube and browsers (video playing without problem. I haven't find any app that doesn't work with this app yet)
★ Block home, back button, recent-app button, and menu button
★ Lock volume
★ Easy unblocking with options
★ Even works on lockscreen to prevent calling to 911
★ Option to "Keep screen on" while blocking
★ Option to "Lock orientation" while blocking
★ Super simple start. Only need 20 seconds to fully understand how it works
★ Super optimized; next to zero memory and CPU usage
★ Tiny app size
★ No ads; that's right, no ads
★ No sneaky permission, only 2 basic ones
★ No data usage, it doesn't even need internet access permission
★ No sign up, no email, no phone number, and no information is saved or required
*******************************************************************************************************************
Coming Features:
★ Option to allow interaction on running app in the foreground
*******************************************************************************************************************
Limitation:
This app does not provide baby content at this moment.
There are a few reasons:
1. ) I am not an expert at determining what content is the best for babies; I only want to provide what I believe is the best.
2. ) There are so many baby content available everywhere already.
Other notes:
This app does not block power button.
Volume lock is to revert volume changes.
If somehow you can't unblock after start blocking, you can press and hold power button to restart phone and that will fix it.
I have tested this app on as many phones and apps that I can, but if you do find an app or a phone that this is not compatible with, please email me the phone model, android version and the app link, so I can test it and fix it.

New confirmation mechanism - You can now confirm with a thumb while holding the phone with one hand. For tablet, you don't have to drag the confirmation bar all the way to the top.
Block Indicator - Now it shows blue dot when blocking and being tapped. This helps user to know the blocking is active. Especially useful when it's in lockscreen and user forgot blocking is active.
Updated with Dragging up confirmation box.
Kids under 2 years shouldn't be using devices with screens in the first place.

Is it possible to configure the app to auto engage when a particular app is running? so for example if Youtube is started the the notouch app activates?
Also, is it possible to have it startup automatically on device boot so that it is running and active by "default"?

Thanks for your interest.
Regarding auto engage, is it that really useful? Currently it doesn't have that feature, because it only takes 1 swipe from the notification and 1 tap to activate.
Regarding auto startup on boot, it might be a bit too dangerous. For example, if you somehow can't not unblock it (For example, someone sets it to 10 taps/sec to unblock), then your last way to get pass it is to do hard reset which is holding power for 10 seconds.
But auto start up the notification is possible. I might add that in, just don't want to pollute the UI with 20 options that general moms don't know how to operate. I might add in an advanced option category in near future.
Thanks.

Sorry for using this thread for this, but I don't think so. I have an app for children on my tablet with pictures and spoken names off different animals. My nearly 2 year old daughter loves it, and actually she can name most of the animals clearly and instantly. I think the point is what kind of content you show to little kids and how long you let them play with it.

Confirms partly what I said, content and duration must be under parental guidance. But I think even kids under age 2 can learn from both: people AND media. And now let's stop hijacking the thread.

There is a bug currently when unblocking if Unblock confirmation is not set. A new update will be released to fix that later today. Please enable unblock confirmation before using it for now.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi!
Is it possible to have the app lock input for 0.5-1second after turning the screen on? I have a bug on my N5 that causes shadow presses when the screen is unlocked. Setting a lock pattern solves this on one side but when the light sensor turns on/off screen during a call it still causes erratic behavior.
Thanks.

Thanks, is there any more details you can give or perhaps a guide which gives more details as to how to use those things listed in help with gasket? I've never really used it before. Thanks
