Hi Frnds,
I am new to Android. I have just ordered Motorola Atrix 2.
I have one question. Is Google A/C configuration necessary to access Google Play..???
Appreciate your answer & thanks in advance.

Yes you need a google account in order to use google play store...
Irrespective of the phone and the android version its running...

[Q] Chinese Android market/Google play

I bought me a Asus transformer tf300t 32-gb in China and android market / google play is in Chinese. since google is banned in China, I can not register my google account and I do not understand Chinese.
I wonder how to change language on android market / google play...
please help!

When you setup your device, isn't there something to pick language...?
Or is it just Google Play? And lol, China bans everything >_>
Anyways, you'll probably need a gapps.

Everything else is in English except android market / google play, and I've updated the android and has reverted...
And Asus don't know
So need help!

I am sorry about that. The evil chinese communist party government blocked everything which it thinks threatened. People in China are all suffering. You probably need a vpn connection to finish your google account register.

are you sure it is google play? I bought the tf300t in China as well and it did not contain any google apps, it had some sort of market, but yes, entirely in chinese. You can change the firmware, or if you can't/won't, I suggest to get one market called Anzhi, which also has chinese apps but at least the menus are in english

How did u change the firmware? I've read where people in this situation loaded the ww version to get out of this situation, but you need root or recovery to do it so u can flash it in.

I used this method which did not require root or any unlocking but it was when I got the tablet and before JB.

Gallery issue

First of all, hey guys, this is only like my 2nd or 3rd post so, yeah lol but anyways, im a photographer and I use my tab 2 10.1 (jellybean OTA) to edit my pictures since it's more convenient than a computer. Anyways, I took the micro sd card out of my new camera and put it in my tab. When I click on the photos and they finish buffering, they fade to white! It does this whole little animation and everything! The weird thing is, if I share the picture to photoshop touch or perfectly clear and save it, the pictures dont do it anymore. Can anyone help me?!?!?!

Im not rooted and That sounds like I need to be in recovery mode. Can you explain a little better?

You need not need to be rooted to do this steps.
Open setting-> Applications> all apps-> gallery (open this).
Then cleae cache, clear data and force stop.
Then restart.
Hope the problem is resolved.

[Q] Zeam Launcher

Hi
I'm new to this forum and Android generally.
I went to the "Play Store" to install the above App on my Tablet, and the message from the site was that the app was incompatible with my Tablet. Is there any reason for this? Eg is it saying that because my device is not a phone, but would it still work as a launcher anyway?

Google "Zeam launcher apk" > download > install > see what happens. Nothing can go bad.

I was going to try that so thanks for that reassurance. Presumably there's an easy uninstall option?

Yeah just open the app tray a and click and hold then drag to unintelligible, or go to settings then hit apps and find it there

Galaxy Apps not working and others... (SOLVED)

Hello there.
After Samsung Apps update to Galaxy Apps I can't install any app.
If I uninstall the update , the Samsung App do not allow me even to search. Have anyone this issue to?
Other thing, I'm using Gnabo_v5 and the Quick Command isn't working, is it normal?
The last one, when I try to access the Photo Editor in gallery, it says that I don't have the app and ask me to download it, then redirects me and when in Galaxy Apps it says "product does not exists".
Can anyone help me?

I have the exact problem with gnabo v5 rom. I want to have polaris and grouplay on my n8013 so I installed the removal package. But Samsung requires me to update their appstore first thing to galaxy app, after which I cannot download anything from the galaxy apps. Always shows "installation failed. Try again layer (0)"

Well... Updated to v5.5 and still have same problem. Anyone with this issue?
Other thing, when accessing status on "About Device" gets fc and the Quick Command is not working.

I can, but it seem that you had already posted there man.
Well, actually I'm not sure if mikyno will resolve this issue since he did intentionally remove those apps from his rom. But let's hope that he will help us anyway

besides if you want a good Youtube Downloader google TubeMate it was removed from the Play Store long time ago but it's still the best.

I have both Polaris Offices the one from the Samsung App Store and from Google Play Store IMHO the one from the Play Store is much better so don't even bother with the one from Samsung https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.infraware.office.link&hl=de

Downloaded the Samsung Apps from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50974832 , moved to /system/priv-app and changed the permissions to rwx-r-r.
To solve the gallery issue I downloaded the zip file from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53300077 and flashed on recovery.
