Guys a serious trouble with my sgr ... i purchased this device a month ago and works perfectly but i installed an app named "GotYa!" which captures pics of people who wrongly enter the maze patter froom "blackmart alpha" market place after 24 hours i get message at centre of screen stating "Time's Up! This is an illegal copy of GotYa! Please buy or uninstall" but uninstalling is not working !! reply asap!!
aaaaaaaaand that's what happens when you pirate software kids.
Go to your recovery and clear all data
This happened to me yesterday. The solution is very simple.
On my E4GT: Settings> Location and Security> Select device administrators> uncheck GotYa!
After that You can leave it on the phone or just delete the .sdk.
Thank you so much for the uninstall of gotya illegal copy!
Thank you for the instruction on how to unistall!!!..
Next time , don't pirate software .
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?

That's the soluution
Mod Edit: English, please
I knocked this together for the i9300, and thought I'd add the i9305 to the list too.
Obviously I've not tested it as I don't have a 4G one yet.
Anyhow, there's two mods, one that removes the Blocking Mode icon (just the 'enabled' icon from the notification area) and also adds the Smart Rotate option into the Display config menu. The other just adds the Smart Rotate option, and leaves the Blocking Mode alone.
Original Post is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943987, if someone test's and lets me know (you may need to do a Dalvik wipe, especially if on an Odex rom). If you then let me know when new Framework version other than XXALI9 comes out I'll keep it upto date.
going to test now I really wanted this feature

Tested On DEODEXED XXALI5 and It flashes normally, I wiped Dalvik Cache, Boots up fine but there is abosolutley no change in settings. Is this because I need to be on XXALI9 ? I dont see how the Firmware versoin could be the problem they are the exact same file name and structure. One thing tho why isnt there a deodexed version of this because i have a feeling this is the problem. I checked in system/app and the file name Secsettings.apk Is still the original one no date change or size change
Flashed here over ripper rom and blocking icon shows here too

I think this is not working because it is mounting the wrong partition for system in the updater script.
I have followed Препод's instructions to activate the smart rotation uploaded here. Tested and working for me

Tested as well and seems to work fine so thanks TXR33 for the heads up. However I also have another option there now "Screen Candy" but it tells me that settings has stopped responding if I select it. Anyone know about that?

So is the "Screen Candy" a blip? or is it a real option?
Also not sure if it is possible but if it is repacked again and you can change the wording it really should read ...angle of sight and NOT "sights"

Right, uploading fixed versions now, they don't correct the English mistakes, I'll do that later when I have some more time. But they do now mount the right partition, there's me just assuming it would be the same one as the i9300!
Anyhow's thanks all for the testing, and I will get to fixing the English in it, good catch all I've updated the OP

All screen candy does is start the Android EasterEgg, you can do it yourself and see why they call it that...
Goto Settings, About Device and then fast tap Android version, then you get the smiling Jelly Bean, now tap and hold the Big Jelly.... Screen Candy
Can you help me to fix that bug? I get these two notifications but I have a lot of storage space and the file downloaded complete.
I have tried some steps before post here but nothing solve my issue
I clean cache
I remove the log files from /data/log
But still get the messages

Could you explain how to go into troubleshoot* and where is the option for the insufficient storage?
Let me add that I have the original rom perhaps it is important info
*did you mean safe mode? :?
You need to get the app 'lucky patcher' by ChelpuS -everything should be clearer then. Don't think it's on the Google play store, so you'll need to google it. Good luck.

Then try installing luck patcher.

OK so as you have noticed kit kat does NOT allow third party apps to write to the SD card, this is stupid, but lucky for us we have a fix IF you are rooted
we have 2 solutions
1) using root explorer or something similar go to
/system/etc/permissions/platform.xml
Click to collapse
and enter the permission that i have circled in red below (see attached) then it will work. Enter it so it looks EXACTALLY like it does below
2) the other option that MAY work is to go to the play store and download SDFix, that does the same thing (however myself and a few others are reporting that it isnt working as it is written)
big thanks to Mr Sam Epic for showing the fix, which came from Unknown Force in a SGS4 forum
****edit 4/19
had a few reports of SDFix not working, it didnt for me, i thought it was just a random error, what i did to fix it was to go into platform.xml and manually edit the permission so it looks exactally like the image below, i put in the extra return after the permission, there is not a logical reason why this fixed it, but it did

Yes, it works by overriding the Kitkat not being able to write to SD. should overcome that limitation in all aspects.
Yep. It's a kit kat issue. They killed third party apps being able to access the SD card

I know for a fact you do not have to do that.
I have once again put together a zip file with a collection of hundreds of some of my favorite sound files for the note 5. I am 99.9% sure they still work in the older devices i have made this for in the past. just back up in case it won't.
Simply flash in recovery. If you end up with duplicate files, simply go to settings>applications>application manager>(swipe over to the the right to ALL) (then scroll down to) >media storage and select it.....then select CLEAR DATA then reboot.
I hope you enjoy it.
