When i want to build the nightlies by myself. Do i need the kernel from the CM github, or the one from intervigilium?
Tnx!

Good Evening,
I am modifing the kernel source (the wifi part specifically) working on a CM7 system and I want to migrate to CM9 because of the improvements on the system and kernel.
I know I can get the CM9 source code from CyanogenMod Github repo, but the kernel comes pre-compiled. So my question is:
Where I can find the "official" kernel source code that comes with CyanogenMod 9 v4.0.3 v2.1?
KalimochoAz's samsung-kernel-crespo repo has been last updated 2 months ago, so I guess the kernel updates must be somewhere else.
Thank you in advance,
Renzo
Cyanogenmod 9 is under developing. We can try nightly version of it.
But, Where is the kernel source for Cyanogenmod9 nightly??
I went to Cyanogenmod's Github, but I only found samsung-kernel-crespo(https://github.com/CyanogenMod/samsung-kernel-crespo)with outdated source code.
Where is the latest kernel-source??
I have unable to work now!
Thanks.
When looking for a CM ROM for my Galaxy Tab S i discovered that there is a CM Port Kernel. So what I don't understand is what that kernel actually allows you to do? Can you install CM if you have this kernel? What do you need it for?
Thanks!
Does updating CM sources of a CM based kernel means merging both of their sources & compiling theme ?
I know the latest official CM11 nightly is the January 5th nightly from https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon
However, there have been more recent commits to the CM11 branch as well as for the OnePlus One. Is there any unofficial CM11 builds going out there (no cherry picks, custom stuff) to incorporate the latest changes? Or would anyone be interested in doing that? (I'm too noob)
Thanks!
Any custom cm11s ROM still under development and custom kernel will have updated commits. Or download the newly released cm11s ota to update from 44s to 05q or whatever it is
