Got a question. Today i switched from Stock Rom to the Redemption Rom. One thing wont work but it seems the Rom author has never heard of the Problem.
The Problem is the following. When I use the S-Pen and write something, the written is shown in the field where I wrote it in. But the actual Conversion from what I wrote by hand into digital letters, that isnt happening. Just nothing happens.
Did anyone encounter something like this before ?
I appreciate any help with this.

I am sure this is a like a rare event, which most people would not have seen.
Best suggestion would to do a nandroid backup and do a fresh install after wipe and check if it works well before you restore your old apps.

This has just been sitting in the my apps section of marketplace since I ran market doctor in Titanium Backup. I have absolutely no idea what this app does, (if anything) both the description and Whats New text simply says LocalTryTry followed by two screen shots of a three paned interface that is completely blank. Attempting to update the app fails and I can find no actual trace of it's existence on my transformer anywhere.
So I ask, what is this thing had how do I get rid of it? Frankly Its freaking me out a bit.

I have exactly the same problem.
It came about exacly the same way i have tried using two different roms with the same result.
Have you got rid of it and how you did it.

Using Titanium Backup just unlink LocalTryTRy (Asus weather) from the market and it stops nagging you about updates that always fail.
Well first post gets an answer pretty quick.

Hi again, well so i successfully flashed the rom and its smooooothhh as butter. Except that when i try to compose a new message and type a contact in the recipient line, it looks as if it comes up blank box. At first i thought that maybe i had to import my contacts on to the phone it self rather then just on the sim card. When i tried again nothing changed but i touched the box that pops up this time when i write a contact and apparently the font works, it seems as if its white text on white back but i changed the background and its still invisible. So basically im just wondering if is this just me or does anyone else have this problem. Also i was curious if maybe there was something i could flash so i could have the original messaging app for the sidekick and not the android one. Much thanks for the help

Basically the box itself appears but the content inside is invisible

i used cm as a base for my rom RAGE 3.0.1 and i am noticing this as well, im going to look into a fix for this when i have time. It basically a white on white issue. If you touch and hold the contact area can you read it?
The Sidekick's stock messaging app is heavily integrated with the zipwip and t-mobile software that rom developers are desperate to rip out.
The answer in all cases is to use apk tools to get at some source code and make the neccessary changes yourself.

Yeah basically its a white on white and it shows up when highlighted. Also i ended up flashing the Cm merged V2.1 first to test it out.

Yeah i figured that original message app is much slower then android but i like it more for some reason and it lets me block people on texting haha. Do you think their is a easy "noob" way of getting it like with a apk download or zip flash already out?

Im having problems with this App WhatsApp+/WhatsApp. It crash one or two times per day and causes me to reload my backup conversations from last backup it made it self. So the problems is that i dont know whats happening, i try everything, full wipe, reflash my actual ROM Carbon build 11/06 and the problems persist. At first, i thought it was WhatsApp+ because is moded but i installed WhatsApp from the playstore today and it still crashing causing me to reload the backup conversations. I send the log to Rafalanse from the WhatsApp+ and he always said that im using another versions and i do what he told me but it doesnt work.
If someone please has experienced this, feel free to reply, if not, can you give another advice to do ?

I didnt receive any Killer-Message but I Know what you talking about, i try to do that on a group but didnt work.
I solve my problem, maybe it was that message but im not very sure because my messages backup was corrupted and i just delete all of my messages and start it again. I found on google that i could fix my messages backup but the to do list were to difficult to me and i just forget it and start again.
But thanks for the feedback, maybe that message causes the corruption of my conversations backup.

Hello there!
I'm having problems again with my WhatsApp, after i started again from 0 and now it's happening again. My WhatsApp crash everyday single day and loose all of my messages since last backup at 4AM. This is annoying, i complained on WhatsApp Feedback but it didn't work they never respond me.
If anybody here has a similar issue please tell me What can i do. :fingers-crossed:

Of course I want to do something about fixing it. But not something which involves rooting, flashing, anything which mess with my current settings and apps.
I understand that this is a developers forum and most of the solutions here simply mention to reinstall the who freaking Operating system instead. Hopefully I made my point clear.

Are you on 5.0 or 5.0.1? I think it is an Android bug.

and yes you should downgrade to kitkat if you want stabilty,

Maybe get an iOS device instead?
Never had such Dialer issue here.
If it's an AOSP bug, then this is not the place to report it, tell Google instead, and also provide logs.

Don`t know whether you guys know there is a feature called "Similar Image" on Clean Master, i just downloaded this app this morning and found this feature kinda interesting. While the point is, i`ve took 2 same screenshots before running CM in order to test, while, unfortunately i couldn`t found any results, it shows me "No similar pics" I seriously don`t know why its that, look, the fist thing is i don`t know why they gonna add this feature into a Cleaning Apps? Does it really necessary? Since it can`t detect my issues which really made me feel down about it. Also i`ve heard some cleaning apps got another similar function called image compression, aka, without changing your pixels& resolution, it can simply zip your file into a lower size. Is that possible? Or do you guys think about this 2 features? Appreciated if some geeks or technique guys can give me some hints or reference.
