[Q] Screen not working - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113TS that went off during a power outage while it was doing an app update. Now the screen says safe mode and the touch screen is not responding. I tried a factory reset using the hold power and volume key and deleted cache but when it came back up the screen still was not working.
What do I do now?

[Q] My Tab Plus Stuck at Boot

Got a tab plus in completely stock condition. Been working well for well over 2 years now. Yesterday I noticed that the screen is displaying "Warning!! A custom OS scan cause critical problems..... Volume Up to continue, Volume Down: cancel (restart tablet)" The screen wouldn't get switched off. Neither the volume up or Volume down or power works. I let the battery completely drain till the tab got switched off. Then tried to charge, after a few seconds of the charging animation, the same screen comes back again.
Tried the Power+volume up, Power+Volume down, Power+Volume up+Volume down combinations. Nothing works. Never had a sim in the device. Removed the sdcard and tried. No luck.
What has gone wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Bump. Any help will be nice
If you can, try to save everything you want off of it. Then try to factory reset it.

[Q] Samsung Logo Splash Screen and Keeps rebooting

Hi,
Two days ago I got the official update of jelly bean 4.3 to my Samsung galaxy s3.Last night phone was dropped with in small height. Today morning I switched on the phone its worked fine. But at the evening suddenly my phone was restarted and Samsung Logo Splash Screen (Samsung galaxy S3 GT-I9300T) and Keeps rebooting. So I remove the battery and insert it after a few second. After that the phone worked fine and again the same problem happened.
if I remove the battery, phone switch off. And if I insert the battery again, phone switch on itself (without press power button) and keep restarting.
I try to open the (Home + Volume Up+ power ON) button option. But is not working. If I plug the phone to charge, gray battery shows and again restarting to charge…. (I mean, phone won’t stay in a stage).
If i try (HOme + voulme down + power On) option, phone shows the download mode for 5 seconds and restart again.
So can you please let me know it’s a software problem or hardware problem?
If it’s a software how fix it ? ( I tried the emergency firmware recovery through kies, but kies couldn’t fine my phone).
Thank You.

My S7 Edge is Constantly Rebooting And Nothing Works

The problem started when I was on my bootloader that simply said "Downloading Do Not Turn Off Target" and I held the power button down to reboot since I didn't see any other way to cancel that screen. From then on, my phone kept restarting over and over again. Basically, it shows the "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge" logo then turns off and shows a blank screen for two seconds then turns on again repeatedly. If I hold the power button, volume up and home button or just volume up and home button, the phone states "Installing system update" on the screen and goes to the menu that allows me to reboot the phone, clear cache, shut down, factory reset and so on. I tried factory resetting and clearing cache over and over again with no luck. I tried to install custom firmware by holding volume down, power button and home button and going into the bootloader and using odin but still no luck. Every guide suggested that the phone has a stuck power button but the tap methods don't work and I'd like to confirm that's the problem before I take my phone apart to replace that power button.
The thing that confuses me is that when I go into the menu with the options for rebooting, clearing cache, etc. the power button works fine. Whenever I want to shut down the phone, I can click the volume up and select the "Shut Down" option and then clicking the power button to confirm and it does shut off the phone. How would the power button be the issue if it works fine afterwards?
So would the conclusion be to replace the power button flex or is it a software issue? Or is my phone bricked after having it for three months?
(The problem's lasted for two days now)
Sorry, wrong thread.

Yea, stock firmware should do it. If you can get into recovery it's definitely not your power button.

Hi
So i found this old galaxy tab 7.7 in the store. Now powered up for a long time. I charged it and then it powered up but asked for password. Since i couldnt remember so i tried to hard reset. After pressing power + vol up button it showed up android logo screen which said "Manual Mode" updating application...After that it would restart and come to the same Galaxy tab 7.7 screen again and again. I canot power off the tab even. It will restart itself.
I need help how to bypass this screen and password and go to home screen.
Thanx in advance.
