Hi DJ
I hope you don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your work. I know how hard it is and exhausting. I wrote in Airfluip's Q&A, before this ROM had one. I simply didn't and still btw, understand the differences between your ROMs. You say you added cherry picks. What does it mean? What features does this ROM has that that one ain't? Does it have a theme guideline or subject? Any additional apps/language support?

Have only been running this ROM for a day, but so far it is as smooth as buttah. I thought ICS was great, this is up a whole 'nother level.:good:
Many thanks
Also is any padded S 4G MTD modem compatible with this ROM? Thought about trying a few to see if I can improve signal any.

ok cool stuff
Currently on AOKP, because... I dunno I wanted to see what r4ins was working with and it's a bit smoother than Paranoid. I have a blanket DPI of 180 with a market that fixes DPI incompatibility so no need to switch back yet.
However I do love Paranoid (great job gs2user) so I remember my settings.
Tablet UI (small) although to be honest the phone styled notification center is better
Status bar 185
Lockscreen 180
Default apps to 185
Calendar and email look the best in Tablet mode. I changed settings back to phone UI.

I thought I'd add my own configuration preferences to this thread. I love this ROM. I've tried going back to other ROMS here and there but everything just seems prehistoric to me with their setups. The fact that this ROM gives you the ability to use the phone like a tablet is awesome. The user interface is perfect for my particular needs / wants. Not to mention the ROM is quick and smooth. Here are some screenshots to illustrate what my setup looks like and what settings I used to get it. Enjoy.

awesome can't wait to see what you got for a setup.
As for me I set everything low to make it all small, haven't done it just yet after the recent flash but I will and send over some screen shots.
I also use hybrid mode for workspace, everything else with Paranoid Settings is as it comes.
This is by far my favorite ROM of all of them out there, I cannot bear to even switch, I've tried lol. Just can't stay away.

Are Gapps included or can we flash our own? possibly JB inverted Gapps?
This will work on my International atrix? MB865 Not from at&t?
And btw, if i don't like it, just flash the firmware again with rsdlite?

seems nice.. almost the same as cm10.. but a lot of settings options have been added
Trebuchet launcher is customisable, you can change the no. of grids, autorotation in homescreen, remove dock divider etc etc
its has a nice holo blue/red/grey theme.. feels nice..
power menu has a flashlight option, though it sometimes works sometimes doesnt
camera is working fine, same performance as cm10, a tiny little bit noisy in photos, flash not working and FFC force closing in video mode, also in the video mode of rear camera, you cant capture photos while recording.. didnt notice if this was the case in cm10 too..
More options to edit status bar, like battery icon styles and colors, you can add day of the week to the status bar and change wifi and data style and colors.. though im not able to change color of any of those
you can change notification toggle layouts ! OP says there are 3 options, but i could find just 2..
One thing is that, i couldnt find a Data toggle :? is it me or its just missing ??!!
Also theres this swagger mode in notification toggle ?!!! and once you turn it on, you cant turn it off ! Lol
tried black exodus theme from cm10, its working fine..
In the multitasking screen, sometimes theres this green layer over the various app previews, even in notification bar..
Been using just for half hour now, though will switch back to cm10, cause dont wanna setup another ROM from scratch right now :/
This feels more like a cm10-PLUS ROM.. which is nice, cause you can always go back to cm10 settings if youre not happy with the new addons.. :good:
Thanks wanggjhost for another JB based ROM
---------- Post added at 02:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:15 PM ----------
OK i just switched to Tablet UI mode and rebooted.. Trebuchet launcher is crashing like crazy, cant access anything..
i'm always facing cell data connectivity for CM10. & for me, its on High priority
thats why i cant keep this ROM though i like. no stable data connection
i tried all option OP has described.
this rom is highly customizable with very few bugs for now and Smooth enough :good:
thanks "wangghost"
but i'm not keepin it .... i hope data connectivity will get solved.

LOL! When you learn how to do something that's fun a guy has to be careful not to overdo it. Time's been a bit more limited lately.
Tell me how it works~ I'm wondering if this ROM is more stable that the CM 10.1 ROMs. Battery life, too?
I take it that it's because it's a PORT that the screen doesn't rotate when opening the physical keyboard

If you're talking about the "Rotation" settings under display, I have that disabled on CM10.1. It shouldn't have to be enabled for the hardware keyboard to rotate the screen; or else I would have my keyboard in and it would rotate anyway... :silly:
I didn't see any other setting for rotation

If you're talking about the "Rotation" settings under display, I have that disabled on CM10.1. It shouldn't have to be enabled for the hardware keyboard to rotate the screen; or else I would have my keyboard in and it would rotate anyway... :silly:

T?V? What do you mean ?
Is this based on LRX21T build? LRX21V? Or did you rebuild the whole thing yourself?

there's a few AOSP builds with different build letters. Hammerhead uses V so i assume that's what flo would use too. i think that's the most recent as far as AOSP is concerned.

Anyone have the location icon constantly showing up in the status bar? Is it supposed to be constant?

Yeah it does on my nexus 5 too with slim.
MultiROM works, luckily! Excellent work so far, thanks! Only complaint is that the animations are extremely fast, I dunno if that's a preference or a bug...
EDIT: Nevermind, not a bug, all the animations were set to x.25 in dev options for some reason. Loving the center clock, thanks so much!

Love this! Thank you for this fantastic rom!
Any chance that Deb will be brought into the fold for Lollipop once the images/binaries are released by Google?

[ROM+KERNEL] Uber CM-12.1---FLO [GCC 4.8 & 4.9]

This is a project that I have been working on for a little while for Bacon. I also have a FLO, and build this ROM for it also when I am bored/have nothing to do. I figured I may as well open a thread for it and see if other users like it. This ROM is compiled w/ Uber 4.8 on the ROM side and Uber 4.9 on the kernel side. I have added a few little optimizations here and there. I will add a feature list a little later. Sorry for the crappy OP. If you have any questions, feel free to @ me in the thread. I will answer anything that I can.
Features Added:
Delta Updates
Reboot/reboot recovery QS tile
Sync QS tile
Doze/Ambient display tile
Heads Up tile
Option for QS tile haptic feedback
Option to show 4 QS tiles per row
Slim's Lockscreen Shortcuts
Slim Custom Doze settings
Call recording for any country
Call recording encoder/format choice
Show each app name during art optimization
Heads Up options
Ability to hide SU status bar icon
Slim Seek Bar
Slim incall proximity speaker
Volume panel timeout
Force expanded notifications
Flip phone to mute/reject call
Option to disable privacy guard notifications
Built with CM's CameraNext inline instead of Camera2
Updated CameraNext from CM12S
LCD density changer
Option to remove data/wifi activity arrows

Lol. No one has even downloaded the first build lol. Yet still, I upload a new build. Synced w/ CM and also ported @dankoman custom Slim Doze settings to my build. Also added a Doze QS tile. Here goes.

Your link in the OP doesn't appear to work, although the last one you posted does. Thank you.
I too saw that the first link didn't work, but did end up downloading the 411 version ? I already see some adjustments I like! What's different in the 412 build? I'm not having much success getting v4a working yet, (and i did have it working on a cm12.1_410 nightly) but I'm still playing around with it. Thx @RobbieL811!!!

What Gapps did you use? Any of the Slim Gapps should work fine.
Slim_full_gapps.BETA.5.1.x.build.0.x-20150411.zip
TWRP 2.8.5.0
EDIT: i just did a new install with the normal Gapps and now it works !
What makes uber so different for the kernel? I've seen a lot of people starting to use the toolchain, but I'm not clear what makes it so good. We are clear to use any 5.0.2 kernel with this build though right since Google hasn't released kernel stuff yet (ughhh)?
Gonna give this ROM a try! Thanks Robbie.
Yeah, just a quick report back that everything is working great! Had a chance to sit down, play around with the rom and finally got v4a to work ugh... such a simple fix. I could have kicked myself for not catching it at first ? Had absolutely nothing to do w/ the rom tho so oh well. Really like the kernel combo too. Very smooth... Seems like it really helped w/ audio via Bluetooth also. Just what i was looking for! ? Looks like you really hammered out some of those annoyances in the stock build RobbieL!! Thx again ?

For some reason it seems to be only 5.1 roms that are making my tablet reboot randomly...it is so strange

Running solid for me. You got latest boot loader? I don't think that's the problem, but maybe!

Well, others have told me to get a logcat, but for reboots it will have to be done with a computer and I don't really have the time to figure out how to do that right now or to wait for it to happen because when I say random it is super random...
Geesh! I leave for a week and come back and you sneek this one in here. Almost didn't see it. Will give it a whirl @RobbieL811
hey Mr RobbieL, i noticed that there is a fast charge option available for n5 uber kernel. (i suppose you must type it in terminal emulator) Is there a line of code to enable fast charge for the kernel in this rom?

Lol. Yeah. Just a little side project I was doing until we figured out what we were doing with Slim. Something to take up my idle time.

Yeah. I added fast charge to the kernel. It can be enabled with any kernel control app. There are TONS of them out there.
To everyone else! New update coming in a few minutes!!!
Alright guys/gals. New update. Synced up w/ CM. Removed a bunch of CM crap like live wallpapers, and CM file manager. Also removed Trebuchet and replaced it w/ Nova Launcher. Added Slim's lockscreen shortcuts. Added the new CameraNext from the new CM12S. Updated to android-5.1.0_r5.
