Q:What is MagicMod
A:MagicMod is a custom rom mainly based on CyanogenMod, but implements other porjects functions(team-gummy, aokp, AOSP, etc...) We want to merge the awesome functions by cm/gummy/aokp into ONE ROM.
It is still under heavy development, I'll add more functions later

Are Gapps included or can we flash our own? possibly JB inverted Gapps?
This will work on my International atrix? MB865 Not from at&t?
And btw, if i don't like it, just flash the firmware again with rsdlite?
This might be a stupid question, but can I use this as my second boot?
Any reviews of the differences between cm10 and this ??

P.s wangg did the tablet ui feature have anything to do with me messaging you about it being in the paranoid android ROM?
I love this ROM way better than the cm10 build
You guys have set a milestone with this keep it up !
Also DPI on tablet ui is a tab messed up

seems nice.. almost the same as cm10.. but a lot of settings options have been added
Trebuchet launcher is customisable, you can change the no. of grids, autorotation in homescreen, remove dock divider etc etc
its has a nice holo blue/red/grey theme.. feels nice..
power menu has a flashlight option, though it sometimes works sometimes doesnt
camera is working fine, same performance as cm10, a tiny little bit noisy in photos, flash not working and FFC force closing in video mode, also in the video mode of rear camera, you cant capture photos while recording.. didnt notice if this was the case in cm10 too..
More options to edit status bar, like battery icon styles and colors, you can add day of the week to the status bar and change wifi and data style and colors.. though im not able to change color of any of those
you can change notification toggle layouts ! OP says there are 3 options, but i could find just 2..
One thing is that, i couldnt find a Data toggle :? is it me or its just missing ??!!
Also theres this swagger mode in notification toggle ?!!! and once you turn it on, you cant turn it off ! Lol
tried black exodus theme from cm10, its working fine..
In the multitasking screen, sometimes theres this green layer over the various app previews, even in notification bar..
Been using just for half hour now, though will switch back to cm10, cause dont wanna setup another ROM from scratch right now :/
This feels more like a cm10-PLUS ROM.. which is nice, cause you can always go back to cm10 settings if youre not happy with the new addons.. :good:
Thanks wanggjhost for another JB based ROM
---------- Post added at 02:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:15 PM ----------
OK i just switched to Tablet UI mode and rebooted.. Trebuchet launcher is crashing like crazy, cant access anything..
i'm always facing cell data connectivity for CM10. & for me, its on High priority
thats why i cant keep this ROM though i like. no stable data connection
i tried all option OP has described.
this rom is highly customizable with very few bugs for now and Smooth enough :good:
thanks "wangghost"
but i'm not keepin it .... i hope data connectivity will get solved.

For those who like a stock ROM and want to flash some MODs....this is for you!!
UPDATED FOR JELLY BEAN 4.1.2 VBRMB1!!

This MOD is intended to be flashed over a STOCK DEODEXED ROM. If you choose to flash over a different ROM it may work fine, but it will be beyond my help if you have any issues.
A stock ROM like Scotts here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2178482 would be perfect. Other stock deodexed ROMs would be fine too as long as they are JB VRMB1 4.1.2.
Here are a list of MODs that are included in this flash:
Code:
-[B][COLOR="DarkRed"]All options are now located in Settings/Rom Settings [/COLOR][/B]
-5 different selectable lockscreens
-Ripple fix
-AOSP Shortcuts
-Options for TW and AOSP Lockscreen including clock, weather, and dual clock
-Remove clock
-Center clock
-Stock clock
-Remove am/pm
-Small am/pm
-Large am/pm
-Small abbreviated day of week
-Large abbreviated day of week
-No abbreviated day of week
-Clock color/transparency settings
-1% Battery Mod with with animated charging
-Verizon logo removed in drop down
-Removed GPS Icon
-IME keyboard toggle
-Removed ongoing notification
-30+ Battery icon selections
-Stand alone battery bar (no extra APK's to install)
-Battery Bar color/transparency options
-Animated bar while charging
-AOSP lockscreen vibration toggle
-Long press back/menu/disable options to kill apps
-Brightness slider removal toggle
-Wifi quick button in drop down menu
-Inverted Email colors for black background

....some other stuff I cant think of.
All User Controlled Setting Are Now in New Rom Control Menu in Settings
If you like it hit the Thanks Button.
Sorry, but I do not have time to break these all down into individual flashes....its an "all in one"!

Its a SystemUI edit. If you are familiar with de/recompiling I can tell you where the edits are.
Also, just remembered that song/track skip long volume press is also included with this MOD. Screen has to be off of course.

I added the lockscreen torch MOD to the ZIP. See info in the OP.
I had a tough time working this one out.....LOL. But its pretty nice.
I will post up a how-to and guide for DEVs tomorrow.
Didact: Do you know which XML files need be altered to switch the 'empty' carrier label in the Hybrid 10 build to 'Verizon Wireless'. I have been screwing with the systemUI for HOURS and not gotten anywhere. Always an error when compiling again. Apparently they changed things up a bit since ICS

Works on cleanrom ULE HE base and modem.
Is there anyway I can customize the toggles?.
Sent from my Verizon Galaxy S III
I wouldn't normally be doing it, but my phone crashed and forced me to. I wanted to move to stable UXUMA7 base, but Mohan doesn't have Embryo 6.5 out yet [edit - he does now, but it's still not this base]. So I gathered the info (not really hard, just some Google) and made the mods that made UXUMA7 usable for me. Since I did it anyway - I might as well share it.
Mods:
Ripple effect on lockscreen
4 lockscreen shortcuts
4-way reboot
23 toggles
Circle battery
Known issues:
Flashlight toggle is crashing SystemUI
Don't try MultiWindow
Download:

There shouldn't be any logging in or signing up. Free download works without it, and the file is small - no waiting times.
In any case, I'll upload to dev-host and share.
[edit] Uploaded, link is available in the OP.
Just a quick question, anyone have this without the circle battery mod included? Sifted through the zip but im not that smart..
SystemUI is the target APK for circular battery mod source, but it's also the target for toggle mods.
If you want - you can just replace the 100 images and the charging images with the standard ones (duplicating the standard images - you have only ~8 of them, you need to duplicate each of them to cover all the relevant values).
can we have just the extended power menu with recovery?
any idea how to change clock color?

Download the zip, delete all the files under /system and /preload except of android.policy.jar, and flash. You'll have extended power menu only.
If you mean putting the "recovery" option onto the main screen - I didn't see a tutorial for such option. If you find one - post the link and I'll see if it's easily doable.

Was coming here to ask just that. Not a fan of the battery myself either.
I'm running the untouched RUXUMA7 (flashed the original tar with odin).
SystemUI fcs as soon as the phone boots up and keeps fcing any time I run an app which uses it (phone etc). So I never see the notification bar and it didn't help to turn off the flashlight toggle in AdvanceS. Should I run this with deodexed instead?

I hope you don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your work. I know how hard it is and exhausting. I wrote in Airfluip's Q&A, before this ROM had one. I simply didn't and still btw, understand the differences between your ROMs. You say you added cherry picks. What does it mean? What features does this ROM has that that one ain't? LOL! When you learn how to do something that's fun a guy has to be careful not to overdo it. Time's been a bit more limited lately.
Tell me how it works~ I'm wondering if this ROM is more stable that the CM 10.1 ROMs. Battery life, too?
I take it that it's because it's a PORT that the screen doesn't rotate when opening the physical keyboard

Just tried this and the screen rotates just fine. I do actually find this build pretty stable. Can't really tell the difference between this and CM 10.1 . Been using it a few days, GPS locks fine, battery life is solid. Install and run it

If you're talking about the "Rotation" settings under display, I have that disabled on CM10.1. It shouldn't have to be enabled for the hardware keyboard to rotate the screen; or else I would have my keyboard in and it would rotate anyway... :silly:
I didn't see any other setting for rotation

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM10.1 builds and i have added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Yep, it's using the JBX KK kexec kernel so expect some tussle with battery life. It's not THAT bad though, it actually has good memory usage.
Finally :victory:

Tried on System 1 multiple times and it gave me a warning after trying to reboot. So i said "no" and then tried to install bmm, and tried to reboot but same result. Followed instruction in OP for install. Not sure what is going on, but this ROM sounds awesome, would love to have it as system 1

That's weird, but I highly recommend that you try it again on a different system to avoid having to fxz if it soft-bricks

Noted and added to the bug list, but try fixing permissions in recovery to see if that helps. Also guys, don't attempt running ART as it causes bootloop.

We're unable to de-kexec roms above 4.2.2 due to the major file changes and higher kernel integration, so that makes it much harder to work without kexec.
I think I found a bug. After sending a MMS in Google Hangouts, it force closes, and whenever I try to open a thread, it continues to force close. Cleared hangouts data to fix this problem when it occurred.
Also, keyboard is unresponsive at times. For example, when I enter hangouts through ActiveDisplay, the keyboard pops up and i can press any button i want, but the letters are not inputted into the area i am trying to type to. Clearing the recent list seems to help so far.

Thanks for the feedback azn, they're not really serious bugs it seems but at least others who experience this will have a solution.

thanks for the ROM.. just my personal thoughts..
First Impression : + quite stable, + lot of customization, + loving the active display (though A2 is not LED display like new MotoX which can be power saving ), + even like the Suspend Actions and Wakelock Blocker
Actual Impression: (yet to conclude.. mainly waiting for any non-compromising bugs and battery life)
Once again Thanks a lot !! :good:
