No use of it ......
If u again relock bootloader
It will show
RELOCKED instead of LOCKED
And for unroot ..try Ruu Rom in android section

Plz give the Link for RUU and how to install RUU? That's the problem..
Sent from my HTC Explorer using xda premium

Well here is how to install ruu http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500165
But anyway WHY THE [email protected]@K do you want to do this, firstly, you can end up with headake if this fails in some place, secondly if you so bad need a stock rom, in my signature is link for flashable one, also if you want to use your warranty, you will fail, because the bootloader after ruu will show re-locked, so there is no point of using ruu.

Oohh.. Btw I'm Not Going To Unroot It, Was Just Asking If There Was Any Procedure To Unroot, For Knowledge..

Aaa that's different. If you JUST need to unroot your phone.....
(have tested this only on galaxy ace, couldn't find link wright now so I'll paste what I did there)
1. go to /system/app whit file manager delete superuser.apk
2. go to /system/xbin and delete this
1. busybox
2. sh
3. sqlite3
4. su
5. su-v1
6. su-v2
7. su-v3
Then just reboot, not sure if it will work with explorer but it should.

Hmm.. Thnx.. But Not Going To Try
Because it's a bit risky and nobody have tried it yet for explorer..

On your SD card, is the name PD15IMG with a type that says winrar zip file or something? Or does.it say PD15IMG.zip with the type as winrar zip file?

just because you have temp root on 2.3.4 doesn't mean you can downgrade that way...
you can't just downgrade with the PD15IMG.zip like that....
use this thread for how to downgrade.
Pd15img.zip
Sent from my LG-E739 using xda premium
Delete the .zip part so it'll only say PD15IMG
Do not remove the extension. The file, when needed, should be PD15IMG.zip.

I did that and I do the manual downgrade. I press power button on fastboot its reading the pd15img.zip file. on the right corner a blue line loads up then a yellow line. After the yellow line finish it gets me out n. Returns me back n. Dosent downgrade

Make sure you are using the 2.2.1 or earlier PD15IMG.zip, place only one file by that name on the sdcard at a time. Fully read through and then follow the guide to downgrade from 2.3.4. If you do not set up to trick the phone for the downgrade properly, it will not apply any changes since what you have installed is recognized as newer.

[Q]root for villec2 (4.0.4)

I have gone from TrickDroid to stock Rom because the OTA update.
Unlocked my bootloader and tried to root my device like with the 4.0.3
, but I didn't succed.
The SuperSu app is nowhere
Can anyone make the root for(4.0.4) or I must go again to stock(4.0.3) to root my device and flash a rom?
Sent from my stock HTC One S c2
You have to unlock your bootloader and then flash TWRP with fastboot. Then you can flash the supersu bineries. Thatstge way I rooted mine.
Sent from my HTC One S using Trickdroid v3.0.0
I tried that.The same,nothing
I think that with 4.0.4,that's not possible..

Urgent- need to know things about explorer

hello, i got a new explorer today, it has a chinese rom installed in it. with ton of bloatware and only 49mb free space
and superuser is already installed (but no market)
When i turned it off- took battery out- pulled it back- Power + volume down button- On top it showed UNLOCKED
does it mean bootloader is unlocked? or i have to do it
can I install another rom (stock from stock roms thread) without rooting and without installing recovery like twrp, or only without rooting and installing recovery only
Help me fast plz or any other way to flash rom without bootloader etc
If it says unlocked that meens it is unlocked, check out if it has recovery or not, without recovery you can't flash roms, install recovery then flash whatever you like.
Ur boot loader is unlocked
Install twrp and flash any rom u like .....

root pico

I am very sorry to ask you guys about this but I was very keen to know about this question that why doesn't the z for root doesn't work on our pico or superoneclick and will z4root brick me if i try i am stock
Because first we have to unlock boot loader which cannot be done by z4 root or any other app. So simply follow the official procedure.

what about this anyway
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765
I told you this all work only with unlocked boot loader or s off devices. HTC has not made Pico so open but yeah it has allowed us official procedures to unlock it.

100% agreed with subh98 !! :good:
i rooted using this procedure by jaggyjags. the most clean way by far i came across.
P.S: i rooted my phone last month itself, by this method.

htc stock rom install

i wanted to install a stock rom in my explorer because i want to claim the warranty of it .... i know people say you can flash ruu but i cannot find for radio-1.11.82.30....... after i will install the custom rom i will relock it ....so please guide me am i doing the right thing or am i going to mess it and brick the phone ......
Flashing a stock ROM wouldn't cause any problem. In-correctly flashing an RUU does.. And, not all people at the service center can be easily fooled

do you know where i can find my ruu ?
radio-1.11.82.30
Can't find an RUU for your phone though...
http://androidfiles.org/ruu/?developer=Pico
I looked in the link above, and your required radio version wasn't there. So, it probably isn't safe for you to flash any other RUU, as you can seriously mess up your device...
The Flashable Stock ROM zips seem to be the only available answer...
