i wanted to install a stock rom in my explorer because i want to claim the warranty of it .... i know people say you can flash ruu but i cannot find for radio-1.11.82.30....... after i will install the custom rom i will relock it ....so please guide me am i doing the right thing or am i going to mess it and brick the phone ......
Flashing a stock ROM wouldn't cause any problem. In-correctly flashing an RUU does.. And, not all people at the service center can be easily fooled

do you know where i can find my ruu ?
radio-1.11.82.30
Can't find an RUU for your phone though...
http://androidfiles.org/ruu/?developer=Pico
I looked in the link above, and your required radio version wasn't there. So, it probably isn't safe for you to flash any other RUU, as you can seriously mess up your device...
The Flashable Stock ROM zips seem to be the only available answer...

Sorry for the noob question :s
I was thinking if it was possible say with root explorer from the market!?

No, unless you have CWM installed.
I do have cwm installed
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA Premium App
Yes, download a ROM using your phone, use a file manager like astro to then move the ROM to the root of your SD card, then use it to check the md5 check sum to make sure you don't have a corrupt download, then flash as you would normaly throught CWM.....that's it.
Remember to do a backup of your current ROM first...

tats wat i like about android over iphone
with custom recovery, root explorer or any other file explorer, u can flash any rom on the go w/o the aid of a pc.
what i do is install astro explorer - having the option to check md5sum
download any rom from anywhere...
after finish download, use astro n move the rom.zip to root of sd card, boot into recovery n flash it
I must add : make sure the rom can be flash with cwm, if not you could semi-brick your phone. But custom roms are usually made for cwm flashing. Only official rom can't be flashed via cwm they are usually in .exe file, but you can also find them in zip file sometimes and you must extract it before flashing via pc.
How do you install the offical .exe roms then? And how do I check md 5 sum?
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA Premium App
Just follow the directions when you open the .exe
Warning though - you'll lose S-OFF and CWM
google for md5 checker

I flashed the stock wwe eur ruu and it left my phone s-off, even though it flashed the h-boot. It did put the recovery back to stock though and lost root, which can easily be sorted.

The only thing that is the ROM sizes are over 300mb and I hit the tmobile 5gb cap so many times downloading on my phones data so I need to use WiFi more... But with the nexus one most roms were under 80 mb so it wasn't a problem . But its still cool you can switch roms on the fly

That why I love my unlimted data on my plan

Official rom (RUU) are only b able to flash via pc unless u extract the upsate.zip n put it in ur root of ur sdcard.. well of coz extracting n moving it needs the pc too...
As for md5sum, astro manager does the trick.. press n hold on the zip file n press "properties" u will c all the details of the file include date time n of coz the md5sum. Do give it some time to load up the details though.
I saw a thread somewhr tat theres a md5checksum app in the market.. u might wanna check it out too..

Quick [off topic] question (since we're talking about OTA and what), if we're rooted and using a custom recovery, do we still get OTA updates?
Here's a completely stock 2.35 nandroid backup: http://rencorner.net/Animoski/stocknandroid.rar (It's hosted on my web server, zipped up using WinRAR)
You will probably get it but won't be able to install it...

Let me know if the nandroid works out for you. Downloading it should be fast too. Enjoy.

My bad. Do u still have it though? And noon question. Since it's a fishable zip I don't have to relock boot loader correct? I can flash it with image GUI or htc dumlock just like a custom ROM?
Can someone please let me know that can I use a RUU of a different radio.
I am unable to find RUU exactly that of my radio.
I've checked htcruu.com and some other sites having RUU collection but didn't. Can I use any radio?. Will the process be successful in this case?
Will it harm my Pico?

May be...
But instead of a ruu, there are stock Rom backups...
Search for it.. and restore.. no risk.

I think you can use any radio. Not sure though.
Will You Encourage Me?
Hit "THANKS"
I think if you try with a different radio it will just abort the installation

But I think if I just flash the stock ROM. I'll be on rooted stock ROM with custom recovery. Am I right?
To get rid of the root I'll delete superuser in system/app while "su" in system/bin and /xbin directories.
But I am worried about how to get rid of custom recovery?
Where can I find stock recovery so that I can flash it in fastboot?
Anyone.....?

Root reason, If you want to try sense 5 experience before stock one coming (who knows when it gets released), custom rom with sense 5 will do, you need to root it and no need s-off as s-on can still flash some custom roms. You are able to use apps with root function and if you don't want or don't like to take much time to read many threads before doing anything to your phone, just use stock one without root.
Here are the steps what you need to learn for root with flashing custom roms if necessary for u : unlock your boot loader via htcdev.com> flash custom recovery (CWM or TWRP), flash custom roms (many steps for flashing method).
if you think you are not sure what will you do to your phone, try stay safe with stock one and no one responsible for your own work on your device if something happen accidentally.
Just my two cent and if this could give you some idea, press thank button for my writing time here.
do a search in this forum to see if someone else has asked same question on how to go to stock.

I already rooted my device and flashing custom Rom now and I'm satisfied with the sense 5 experience Rom. If you don't have more experience on rooting or flashing..etc and u don't like to do research, better stay on stock.
