I know this is an early request but all i need to know if there will be a CM ROM for our device in the future?
If so, can we make ROM's for this device our self's? I have never made a ROM before (though tried once for XM didn't succeed) so i thought as there is kernel development for XL, we could even start with ROM development! :silly:

Well, i built working cwm and twrp, and cm10.1 shouldnt be a problem anymore on xperia l, im working already on cm for my beloved c2105 so dont worry ^^

xperia sp already have cwm for locked bootloader
the Xperia L and we have not yet: (
The problem is, that the kernel source needs a patched gl wrapper to get no glitches in recovery! So you all need to wait until i or another dev gets a fully working graphics.c for recovery working

Did not complain of the Xperia L for not having cwm for locked bootloader. Just made a comment that the sp which was released later and we already have not.
And now with unlocked bootloader to even'm already cwm / TWRP.

The difference between those two builds is baseband right? you could install the rom and afterwards flash the c2104 .ftf and only flash baseband. Couldnt that work?
And maybe dev can offer the baseband for c2104 as flashable addon or so...
Just to say it is no big deal to solve that problem

customizable navbar is a must have
about statusbar: i like the toggles how they are (style), but customizable would be cool.
clocking is possible with vengeance kernel, volting not - would be nice.
i would like a hack to set down minimal brightness....
ps3 controller and led-customization support would be cool.

I guess nobody will ever port stock 4.3 from Xperia E1 to Xperia L becuase there's only slight amount of difference between 4.2.2 and 4.3..

I find out that it's really easy to port a rom from another device so I will try making it by my self. Just need to download 4.3 FTF from XM.

Is there anyone able to make a flashable zip ? As I'm getting error Status 7 for all the time in CWM... Can't flash it and test it if it works.
i just read that our device can't taste kitkat officialy from sony. even sp tooo.. may be sony will give us a 4.3 update. anyways am looking forward to CM rom.

I've read that Kitkat is so close to be finished by Cyanogenmod. :victory: I'm so looking forward to release.
Sony will never give us Kitkat officialy.. (in my opinion).
But it isn't official yet, I'll just waiting for official Sony Mobile and Sony Developers statements...

Yes, but if you want to you can unlock it. It isn't hard. I 've seen here topic how to do it somewhere. But some of XL cannot be unlocked thats true. We'll see

man i've been sayin that for ever..i really hope that there is someone porting it to xl..there are many roms now and they have official support but i think they are all similar and the miui is the most unique one..

David is right. MIUI is closed-source. All they provide are porting guides and prebuilt stuff on their Github account. Also many strings aren't even properly translated (so many things are in Chinese or English).

You can try to build it from miui kitkat patch rom.

First and formost.
MIUI v5 is based on the JB so we cannot port this rom to CM11 or AOSP 4.4. I tried it few months back but without success. There is no MIUI rom v5 based on KK so don't go for it. Either we need CM10.1 or AOSP 4.2 to successfully port that rom.
Secondly,
In case of MIUI v6. There is high chances of success as MIUI 6 is based on KK but its not publicly available yet. Its on closed beta and will be available to numbers of devices soon. So have patience guys. We will have miui on our XL soon. But we need to wait abit more.

i believe the combination of David, yash and Oliver will bring perfect miui rom.. you guys are great.. I've seen your names everywhere.. liquidsmooth, pac, Resurrection remix, revolutionhd etc..
