Google Play... - General Questions and Answers

Hey,
long story... Some years ago I made a Google-account via hidemyass.com to use the streaming-function of Google-music, because I live in Germany and the function wasn't available in an german account.
Now I use Google-play-music but it is not possible to activate "all access". No matter whether I try per PC or mobile device.
Anyone can help?

If you've downloaded it before with the same google account you can check in the playstore under myapps> all. Theres a list there of all the apps you have ever downloaded on that account.
Hope this helps

Disable google play "popular in your area"

I live in a sh*thole of a country and i dont want to see apps from local developers recommended to me on every page. How to turn that off in the new google play app?

Seconded! (Though it was always there already, just significantly less.)
Out of all developers here, anyone?

Same problem. Living in a third world country makes Google Play suggest the worst apps you can imagine, just seeing the icons in my phone is a torture.

1, 2, 3, i fourth that!
But i don't really think there's a way!
Probably we should ask google to include an option to disable suggestions.
Well I have already tried but nothing happen! So kinda useless!

Yeah if there only was an option to even change the market's country. Example trick it into thinking I'm in NY (<3)

Only way to do it now is to use a VPN. This will fool the play store into thinking you are in another country.

Tried disabled location services.
Cleared data and cache in playstore.
Even after that it still find outs my location.
One more thing we can try is use wifi only & put the network radios in off state.

AutomateIt

Hi everyone,
just wanna share this awesome app called AutomateIt
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwyLDEsIkF1dG9tYXRlSXQubWFpblBhY2thZ2UiXQ..
it can do A LOT of automation like when leave home turn off wifi, turn on bluetooth, vibrate...etc
I really like it. Its like an enhanced version of avatar's weebo app.
Enjoy !
I like the "lost my phone" rule a lot.
You text "lost my phone" to your phone and it sends an sms back to sender with last GPS and network location.
Cool!
You can also get NFC tags and do this too. I am going to buy NFC tags and try it out.

Either. They are basically the same rule made by different users.

Can someone explain this? SOS

Can someone explain the "other" portion.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Android os + sense. I was going to use the "let me Google that for you" but decided to be nice.
I also believe some apps put extra storage needed there sometimes as opposed to the sdcard
But please don't be shy about using Google.

It means that the automated help check against an online database, like googling for a problem only within the program`s UI
Windows troubleshooter is one of those examples, it always checks online and never finds anything :silly:
Connection is required to send the "error Report "...
