ROM Screenshot/info Index - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 General

I looked for a thread like this, but was unable to find one, so I figured I would make a thread to index the screenshots and specific info about ROMs. I figure that if someone wants to see a specific part of a ROM prior to installing it, requests could be made.

And what is this exactly?
A rom based on a sort of AOSP/CM9/AOKP type of thing. Im new to this device and just thought I'd try to make a rom, so here it is. Its been on Rom Manager for a few days and i've been getting pm's asking for links and the such so I thought i'd post here
You could do with putting more information in on your main post.
EG change log, pictures, rom base, ICS etc, credits - anybody who helped you with the rom.
Id be interested to find out more about this!
will do as soon as I can sorry I was kind of in a rush. Sorry about the name man I didnt notice my rom sounded so much like your "GhostXSeries" I might just have to switch it up.
No problem. Keep the name, it is different enough to mine I didn't notice

nope they are there
I know OP said they were in a rush, and I'm not trying to be a jerk at all, but if you don't have the time to post even the tiniest bit of info (literally anything at all would help...anything at all) then by all means just wait til you have the time and avoid the inevitable posts asking for clarification.
Personally, a pretty looking thread isn't important to me. I just need the meat and potatoes so I can tell if it's worth downloading.

I think you should've just waited till you had more time man. "Cyanide X" - tells everyone absolutely nothing. You had the time to tell other users what it is throughout the thread, you should've had time to put something in the title/first post. Prepared to deal with your rom/thread!

Solrac, I have another piece of advice for you. In the wiki, when you go into edit mode, you can hit the preview button instead of submit to see what your changes will look like. That way we avoid things like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik...alaxy_S/SGH-T959V/List_of_ROMs&action=history
As you can see you made a LOT of small changes. It's better if you keep hitting preview and once you have the final page layout you want to submit, THEN you hit the submit button. It's a lot easier to keep track of how the wiki pages have changed that way.
Thanks for the work you put into editing this. Now we can all go and link people to that page when they ask what roms they can install
Umm didn't notice that thanks FB next time i will not made soo many "little chances" in the wiki
Thanks, by the way is that the simpsons metallica in your avatar
Yes!! My dad give me that T shirt in my birthday so I searched on the internet and I found by only searching metallica ( BTW i love simpsons and metallica so the perfect t shirt)

Hi Solrac
Great job.
I have one note if you don't mind.
You wrote MIUI Revenge is the most stable MIUI ROM.
HebMIUI, apart from my translations and RTL ports, is completely an Erikmm's ROM (same creator as of MIUI revenge)
I think he does a terrific job and it is as stable as can be.
The only problems I had so far were related to my MTD noobness and wrong installation procedure.

It's the wiki, you can go ahead and edit it yourself . We've been trying to make a move to the wiki so we can avoid having only one user editing his own thread the only way to get information out to users. If you think the wiki page needs a change, go ahead and change it and encourage others to do so. Just head to the page and click the edit link up top.
If you would like some reading on the wiki syntax and on editing pages, there's a good article on wikipedia.
http://ang.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:How_to_edit_a_page
Note though that some of the wiki markup might not work on xda's version of wiki software.
Well guys if you want I will make a guide from BML to MTD, from BML to ICS and from MTD to ICS so we will resolve the noob question once for all

[ROM][06-02-13][Flinny] Andromadus - CM10[133]

Andromadus - Test Builds
To start with here you will find test versions of ROMs built by me from the Andromadus github repo http://github.com/Andromadus, think of them along the same concept as nightly builds just not every night These are development ROM's, if you want to run bleeding edge development ROM's and at least know how to use adb and logcat then you might find something of interest here. If you require something that works 100% of the time all of the time then this might not be for you. That said you can always give it a try and if it doesn't work restore your previous nandroid backup!
What IS Andromadus?
Initially it was a group of people who got together to make ICS work on the HTC Desire Z because nobody else seemed to want to support devices with physical hardware keyboards/trackpads. Whilst the idea stays the same It has grown slightly to support some other hardware and some of the work we have done is now used in many other devices. Andromadus builds of CM10 or CM10.1 are basically CM sources with a few additional tweaks or additions to support our phones.
1. New versions will be added as and when I feel there are enough changes to warrant one, don’t ask when the next version is coming.
2. If we decide to release a "Stable" version of these roms they will be published in another Andromadus thread.
Direct all your queries with release versions to that thread and in the same vain do not discuss these releases anywhere but here.
3. I will do as best I can to answer questions but if you don't get an answer from me I'm sure somebody else will be along to help. Help each other and I have more time to spend fixing things!
4. Don't ask for what's changed since the previous version, have a look at the recent submits on the Andromadus github if you want to know or wait for the mini changelogs when I post a new release.
5. If there is something in particular to test it'll be mentioned!
6. As always if you didn't wipe between installations then at least verify that the problem exists on a clean install before posting here. Nandroid/superwipe/install/check at the end of the day you can always restore your nandroid if the problem is reproducible on a clean installation. If you can't be bothered to try this then I really can't be bothered to try to help you :>
7. All that said ensure you make a nandroid/backup before hand. I take no responsibility for what you do to your phone with these ROM.
8. Whilst I can't stop you I would rather these builds were not used as a base for any ROM/MOD/ETC. The source is all available if you want to do your own builds with which you can do whatever you like.
9. Tell us what works/what's worse/what's better but don't ***** when something breaks or isn't fixed yet, report it and move on.
10. Sometimes people forget that we do this for fun, for ourselves, and sometimes your super important issue is way down on our personal list of things to be fixed.
If you ignore any of the above you will in turn be ignored.
Now that's all out of the way as always have fun
As usual you need to flash the ROM then GAPPS.
Checkout http://andromadus.flinny.org for links/files/previous changelog's
This a team/community effort, I'll not list everyone who has helped along the way here that list is in the beta thread but I will say thanks to all of them again and obviously anyone that has been missed.
Current Version changelog
CM10 build 133
There was an issue with the backup tool in the last build that will break gapps and your account's etc when flashing this build, the solution is to re-flash gapps at the same time as the rom and you should be fine. This build should fix it so that the next build will work as it should
Changes.
Synced with CM - Again not many changes upstream.
Basically everything relevant to our phones up to the 4th of February in the following has been merged

What is SynergyROM nightly?

I'm just wondering what it means by Nightly.
I think I understand that, small updates will be released like right now it's at r75
How do we install them? Do we need to wipe?
Or do we just use CWM and install?
I recently had this question too. I was under the impression that a new ROM was put out every night and after reading the synergyrom thread I figured out that the ROM only changes when the number advances, e.g. r73, r74, r75.
Each day you'll see a new ROM link listed with the r##. If its still for example r73, then nothing has changed.
Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe nightlies give the dev's the liberty to keep tweaking it without having to update the original post all the time. Instead you can see a changelog if you visit the dev's github.
Just reference the first post and you'll find the links for the ROM download page and even the changelog page.
If you are not coming from a recent synergyrom build I'd fully wipe and then flash this in CWM.
Happy Flashing!

Thread moved and retitled as work in progress, let's give the OP the benefit of the doubt and try to help him get the build working correctly.
To the OP, you need to provide kernel source and proper credits and thanks. I highly suggest you read the following link and try to get your thread caught up to standard. Then let us know for proper thread assignment.

Could be cool. Post your source.
