Does Google have an app that will sound an alarm when a specific wifi signal turns off or it cannot find that signal?
Will be using it for security purposes. Smartphone will be left at home at all times, and will need an alarm to prevent it from being stolen.
Thanks!

I know this is in MIUI. But when I had the vibrant all the roms had the option to turn data off when u hold down the power button along with the reboots. And it is an awesome feature. With battery life on this phone being so so turning data off when not using the phone is awesome.
And please no one suggest airplane mode as I can't get messages or calls and the apps made for it on the market are still using battery. Please devs. Thanks

There's a setting in build prop. Make it lower.

are you talking about the range by which your phone can reach a signal? not that I know - I think it's a hardware limitation. but I would be interested to see if there is one...
Hello. I am running Jellywiz' rls12, which includes the camera from the Note2. I have my screen timeout setting to 10 seconds.
The question which I hope the forum members can help with is this:
When I am in the camera app and idle, the screen does not time out. Is this normal? If not, are others experiencing this issue and is there a fix?
Thanks!

Perfectly normal, you don't want to miss the moment because your screen timed out!

Fixed... Had to call Samsung Argentina, get redirected to Samsung US, spend a lot of money in a Internacional Call just to know that AdBlock was causing a problem with the credentials. Backed up stuff and back with slide...

Normally I dont post stuff like this. But what the hell is the thing next to the vibrate icon in the status bar. It just appeared after I did a reboot. Kinda looks like a Bluetooth thing but Bluetooth is off.
I can't find the icon glossary on this phone.

Never mind. Apparently it is the hearing aid compatibility icon. Found the icon glossary on the phone at settings/about/help
