[Q] How to Root Alcatel One Touch 922 (a.k.a Vodafone Smart 861)

hey guys, i'm new here.
I bought a Alcatel One Touch 922 yesterday. I searched but I didn't found anything about root it. Can anybody help me about Alcatel OT 922?
So, I didn't want rooting exactly, I want delete default apps on my phone. It's enough for me if I can. I know it, we must root phones for do something via root privileges, but, any other way for delete default apps except rooting?

I am also in the same boat as this user. I just want to remove the default apps that came pre-installed. I have searched the forum with key words 'Alcatel OT922' and didn't get many hits.

Make that 3 of us. So far, I've tried One Click Root (failed), Superoneclick (hangs on step 7 every time) and 74root (failed). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Kingo Android ROOT download it its free i used it on the same phone you have it worked fine

use framaroot to get it. i had use framaroot to root my alcatel 922D

[Q] few question about chinese smartphone and there rom.

i just got my new android smartphone, im surfing here alot but im new registered user so i cant put link after 10 messages...
the smartphone is NO.1 I9400 can be found in sites like pandawill and lightake.
and i got some question... by the way the phone have root and the normal android recovery
1. i wonder if i can put on it rom that beased on other phone
because there is no custom rom for this one..and the rom i got with him is lame,
2. where can i get the rom that already on the phone..is it possible? the company have no web...or at least i didnt found the site.
3. is there any rom that made to work on all phone
i mean to install it and it will reconize the phone hardware and all, like a general rom for all phone
4. is it possible to put total clean ics 4.1.2? that never have been change on this phone? if so where can i download it?
i have 4.1.2 but it look like it have been customed by the supplier..
5. can i take custom rom like cm9 and change it to work with my phone? like self customize it but in nooby way with guild because im not a developer so i have no experience with building roms...

Basiclly your out of luck here, Almost no China based devices are here. So your better off looking on some china sites.

[Q] I need help rooting an Alcatel one touch pop mega phablet please

I have the STRAIGHT TALK ALCATEL A995L One touch pop mega serial number A995L it is a 6 inch phablet and I have tried for days now to find a rooting method. I have rooted phones before with no problems but this one I cant. If you could help me out I would be grateful. when you look for cwm ect the searches show the hero that it not my phone. I just got a bricked one in perfect cosmetic condition. Ill be rooting it and trying a custom rom on it once its done (if she gives). Have you guys tried any of the one click roots like kingroot / kingoroot or SRS ?

Alcatel One Touch Fierce Stock rom anyone?

Hi everyone. I tried to root my Alcatel one touch fierce to uninstall the system apps. Not only was I not able to root it but now it freezes all the time. I restored to factory settings but that didn't work. I'd like to flash the stock rom but I can't find it nowhere not even in the xda forums. Could any body give me a link to the stock rom. Maybe a backup. Thank you.
