Hi, i accident drop my s4 i9505 and cause a dent to the middle housing bezel. Is there any recommend on spare part shop that I can get a hold for the replacement? I looking for the original/chrome if possible. Thanks alot!

Same thing happened to mine and my wifes and we dropped them from like 2 feet
Looks like that case your using isn't doing it's job. Get a new case!
I don't think the top chrome is plastic since mine also got flattened after a drop

I did a drop test on my s4 from about 4ft high face down on a flat bar floor. Did it about 5 times and the only "damage" was something similar. Its definitely plastic.

I take off the large plastic layer when I can't have it on my belt... stupid school. >.< When I am not in school, then I typically fully mount her up and throw both cases on. Then it's real protected and right there very accesible on your belt... if you're really have troubling with putting your phone with the base layer on then I have a simple solution... change pants. lol....

Great case. I have had mine for almost a year and when I did have a problem with the power button coming loose they sent me a replacement pretty quickly. I have an extra now. (I super glued it)

Does anyone know where I can get the little plastic cover that goes under the screen? I changed my screen a couple days ago and I guess I didn't have the little fellow in there good enough and know I can't find it. I've done searched on ebay and numerous other web searches and I can't find one. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I've been looking for a case that is Minimal and still shows off the back of the phone. I was thinking if ANY case is that much it better have an extra 3,000mh (if that's the right abbreviation) battery built in, signal boosters for both WiFi and Cell Data/Radio, pure diamond and/or hardened steel, light-weight, and have an extra voice assistant that knows you by name and balances your checkbook.
Side note, I am thinking about this case but does it add a lot of extra bulk to the device?

i saw this video earlier. it is a real product you can buy. put out by rust-oleum. the video is pretty crazy. if this really works as it say it does i am getting it. for $20 completely seal your phone from water and dirt or anything else. it looks like it doesn't add any thickness. so i would assume it would work with any case or accessory. check it for yourself:good:

Although the video shows it working on electronics, they won't actively push it as a feature. Why? Because if you get it slightly wrong your phone will break, and that's a loooot of pressure on the company. If they say it does and it doesn't they hold liability

Liquipel is the same thing (hydrophobic coating), except they designed it specifically to be used on electronics. Havent tried them myself, but heard good things about them.

I have heard some people voice concern over the volume rocker being loose, small gaps between speaker grill and screen or (in my case) it being slight raise in one corner. My issue with the screen is only something I notice if I run my finger over it slowly and if I point it out to someone I get a chuckle and a head shake lol. Build quality in my experience with every m8 I have seen with the exception of one has been great IMO. The poorly built m8 i did see the rep wouldnt sell it and took it back with out being ask which was nice. Sometimes I will get tiny pieces of lint in the speaker grill but its easy to remove with tape.

Camera has a strange film on it that scratches very easily. Easily fixed by using an abrasive to buff it out like toothpaste or a Mr clean magic eraser. Annoying nonetheless.

Yes, it's a supcase with a clear back, scratched up very badly just from being in my pocket. Also my duo camera and front camera kind of got really foggy, so my pictures came out all blurry. I had nothing else in my pocket and always took good care of it.
You might have a good model then. But once I had one scratch the rest came fairly quickly.

I happened to have taken mine with me on a jetski once by mistake and the results of it gave my phone a wiggly power button (i think, might have already been there) but other than that I've seen little to no faults in it.
Sorry for another question but I gotta ask about signal strength compared to say moto or LG. I went from a droid razr to a G2 last November and have seen some variance in signal.

Build quality for me is nice. I don't have the volume wiggle buttons problem. I will say some times lint from your pockets gets in the speaker grill but taking a cleaning cloth and wipe over the holes does it for me.

Haha, thanks for the sympathy.
I think a dead pixel might be worse, after you scratch away that film the camera is good as new. Dead pixel all you can do is replace the screen. My camera is great now.
