Craziest Google Play / Google + / Google Now Problem! Please help! - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Okay... had problems with my phone and had to totally wipe and start over (lost my IMEI and ERI). Anyway I finally got that all figured out and working and then I used ODIN to flash a factory stock image (MB1). Booted up phone and tried to login to Google Play - I get "No Connection". I decided to update to MF1 and let that process go. Still - no connection. I factory reset, cleared cache & data and still get same result.
Tried almost everything I can think of and get get logged into Google play and a few other Google services. I've searched the internet up and down and have no other options I can think of!
Google Play Store says - No Connetion
Google Now say - Network Error - Check your network connection and try again
Google Plus says No Connection Couldn't connect to the server
Google Maps works fine and has all my starred locations no problem
Here are all the steps I've taken:
1) Flashed totaly different MF1 ROM through recovery after clearing & formating every folder (system/cache/data) - same problem
2) Verified date & time is CORRECT
3) Cleared Google play and services cache and data and forced closed
4) Reset phone tons of times and powered completed down for 5-10 minutes
5) Removed google account and then re-added it
6) Deleted HOSTS file in system/etc
7) Downloaded latest Google Play and Google Services and installed manually
8) Tried WIFI & 4G - no difference in errors
Maybe Google is just down right now and everyone is having a problem? I highly doubt that! Maybe google is just blocking my account?
This is the craziest problem I have ever heard of. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Chrome Wont Update | Market Error: RPC:AEC:0

Hello,
Just upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and now in the Google Play Store I get the following error when it trys to update any of the google apps such as Chrome:
Update for "Chrome" could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:AEC:0])
I have used google and gone thread to thread for solutions but NONE have worked.
I have tried the following:
a) Factory reset
b) Factory reset with wipe and format of all partitions
c) Removing my google account and re-adding it.
d) Clearing cache/data and updates from google play store and google framework, then removing google account, rebooting, re-adding google account.
All of the above lead me back to the same exact issue RPC:AEC:0
I must mention I am not rooted and I have not unlocked my bootloader.
Please help!
What version of the Play Store do you have installed? (Play Store -> settings -> build version)
Latest is 3.9.16, you can download it here

Try this one. It's a small variation on what you already tried. Notice the power off for 2 mins, instead of reboot. (btw they = Google support)

GPlay Search isn't working

So, I installed JellyBread v5. The first time, I was trying to access the market but it gave me an error, followed by a notification that I had written my google account password incorrectly, since I had no way of fixing it, I ended up doing a reset from the settings menu. The 2nd set up, everything was working fine, I could access my apps from Google play, but. Whenever I searched something, It wouldn't show any results. I tried rebooting the phone, and nothing happened. I set the content settings to show all and still no change. And for some reason, it won't work on the browsers either.
Theoretically Speaking, I can only install apps I search for, using only my computer.
Should I do another reset? Or Just re-install Vending.apk?
Bump?
Anyone gotten through this?
Upade :: Re installed the room (via CWM) with full process (Wiping > Install)
Use latest Google™ Play v4.3.11. It's there in "themes & apps section" & latest Google Services App. Both are necessary to install any apk via Play Store.

[Q] Error RPC:S-7:AEC-7

Has anyone ever gotten this error RPC:S-7:AEC-7 while trying to download apps in the Play Store and fixed it? I have tried everything, wiping cache, factory reset, install different GAPS, create a new google account. But NOTHING is working for me. Someone please tell me you have fixed this before!
Thanks,
Caleb
EDIT: FIXED
-Go to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->All
-Select "Clear Data" for Google Play Services and Google Service Framework
-Reboot the device
That should be it, it is working fine for me now.
I did it without unlinking my google account and it went well.
Thanks
I got this after doing a dalvik cache clear. Same in a few google accounts. Uninstalled updates to google play store and restarted phone and it was fine.

Thanks bro. It worked well for me too - CM12 / LLP
Halp! I can't erase the account. There's no "Remove/delete" account. I even flashed it and NOTHING.
Thanks, it works!
OP, you might want to edit your fix/solution. I don't think the step instructing you to remove and restore your google account is necessary.

Agreed. I also did it without unlinking google. Just clear data on both applications and restarted.
I have been getting this error for days now. Before this I would get the "this method of payment had been declined" for my google play credits for several months Jo matter what app I wanted to buy. Now with the error retrieving info from server I'm starting to get really pissed off.
I've tried it on different Roms, different phones, uninstalled updates to play store, cleared data on it and play services. It doesn't work no matter what I try. I want to be able to purchase apps, I've missed sales on apps because I get some stupid error. I'm at wits end please help me find a solution. I
Thanks. Works perfectly.

[Q] (Google Play Store) Error retrieving information from server [RPC:S-7 :AEC-7]

Greetings,
I had some issues uninstalling xposed on my HTC One M8 that was recently updated to lollipop so I reverted back to a stock lollipop rom directly from Telus. Every time I try and download an app from the Play Store I get the following message.
"nameofapp" could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-7 :AEC-7])
This is what I have tried so far:
- Clear cache on Google Play Services (Framework) and Google Play Store
- removed update from Google Play Store
- updated Play Store manually to newest APK
- rebooted in between these steps
- removed Google Account + cleared cache + all data for all Google Apps and services
Sometimes when I reboot it will let me update or download 1-3 apps, then it will just bring back that error. I'm at a loss as to what I should try as googling this error brings up the same solutions every single time. Other then this issue the phone itself appears to be functioning properly. My phone is unlocked and rooted but I do not have xposed or any other custom mods running. I'm also using the latest version of TWRP. I have also noticed that sometimes when I disconnect from wifi and attempt to download from 4G the download actually goes through. Not exactly a solution as I have limited data available to me. Any ideas?

Flash GApps via TWRP. If it doesn't help, bring your phone back to full stock, including flashing firmware + rom and make sure to format systen + data partition
before flashing the new rom.

Thanks for the help. I tried to flash the google apps but TWRP kept giving me errors that the package wasn't compatible with my phone. I located a nandroid of Telus lollipop stock and flashed that after I have formatted the system and data partitions as you have recommended. I dont believe I needed to do firmware as I have never had anything but stock firmware on the device. Everything appears to be functioning now as I can download and update from the play store once again.
Out of curiosity are you able to tell me why I encountered that issue? I cant seem to find exactly what that error even means. While i'm still very new to the android scene with flashing custom roms and device modification I have never once had that issue.
that is a "host" error, using a file manager, go to your /system/etc folder, open the "hosts" file, as a text file, and erase all.. except the local host:

[HELP] [root] s8+ exynos - google play services stopped working after data wipe.

Hi all, so bit of a background.
Got international g955f (s8+), I have it rooted with twrp + magisk. Everything was fine till last night phone stopped to remember wifi passwords. Tried DHCP folder removal and config file changing - that didnt work so did titanium backup of it all and wiped data this morning.
Phone started but as soon as I try to go through initial configs I get google services stopped working/keep crashing.
Pulled sim card out so I could get through to the main screen, tried to open play store and nope, won't let me - google play services has stopped.
Restored data through Titanium backup didnt help. Wiping data/cache of google apps didnt help. Downloading play store and google framework apk didn't help.
I've got full rom waiting to be flashed but I'm at work at the moment so can't do that yet. Is there anything else I can try and do to avoid re-flash?
I have removed system apps like chrome and gmail, nothing else.
Good thing - wifi is remembered now!
Any help/clue would much appreciate.
Thank you!
