Can't flash custom kernel - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm running SlimBean 6.0 Unnoficial in my xt925, and I can't flash bytecodes kernel (http://droid-hive.com/index.php?/topic/1857-kernel-code-kernel-61513/)
it doesn't boot.
any ideas?

As far as I know, Slimbean Uses a custom kernel that is modded to allow all the extra features.
I don't think you can use a different kernel.

ICS Kernel on JB

Can I use my Codename Android Tiamat sourced kernel on the "stock" VZW JB rom? Would like to have OC. I did run the Team Eos rom for a while, but I kinda prefer more of stock rom.

[Q] How can I get the stock kernel?

I installed leankernel with cleanrom 5.5.1. Now I want to go back since lean doesn't support exfat. How can I find stock kernel for newest JB rom? I don't want to flash the whole rom again since I did a lot customizations.

[Q] Updating Kernel

Sup, so I'm still quite the noob at all the rooted stuff, like flashing etc... I have franco kernel and im running cm, when i update my kernel am I supposed to flash the kernel again or will it actually be updated?
For which phone n its not necessary to flash again n again unless u flash with custom rom
Sent from my GT-I9082 using xda premium
(But CM has really good kernel)
When flashing a custom ROM the kernel is flashed as well. Most of the time that kernel is an adapted kernel of a widely used one (e.g. Semaphore or DerTeufel), so that it can be verified in conjunction with the ROM. So yes, when flashing the custom ROM, immediately after that flash the kernel of choice. With the right app, you can even configure the kernel and play around with strings and scripts

Question About MultiROM help!

Hello, i have been using MultiROM for a while and had the cm11 base. But now my base is cm11s and i have installed cm11s kernel. But when i install cm11 or AOSP ROM i install cm11 kernel or stay with the cm11s?
I don't use MultiROM but I would assume you would go with the AOSP kernel since you're on a non-11S ROM.
I'm running Mahdi with AK kernel and install CM11 not CM11s

Click to collapse
You must specify which rom is first, and which are secondaries
If you have CM11S as primary rom, you have to use the specific multirom version for cm11s
If you installed AOSP roms on secondaries, with cm11s as primary, do not share kernel nor flash a cm11s kernel on secondaries, it will not work, only use cm11 kernels for aosp

[Q] Latest Nightly Carbon Rom with custom kernel?

I'm using the latest official nightly CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20140828-0903-falcon.zip. Is anybody successful flashing a custom kernel? I tried xperience, pink, green machine... but all of them seem to have issues. Like no wifi or trickster mod settings won't stick.
Are there another custom kernel that works? I don't like the kernel from carbon.
Thanks
device XT1032
Maybe I'm lucky, but suddenly there is a new kernel with all the features i need. And it is working perfectly with Carbon.
