Hi
I am creating a system log using Tasker. Through the 'Event' context , i can detect when a package is installed/uninstalled or updated. However, i cannt see any variable that can retrieve the name of the package so modified. is there any way to retrieve the information?
i am having Rooted Nexus 5 runnning stock 4.4.2.
You need to create the task and variable to assign to the profile.

Using which variable? I don't think there is a tasker variable that retrieves recently changed package information. there is an Event Context that detects change. But I want to get the name of the package

After add line to end build.prop must save and delete build.prop.bak and reboot

what specific file explorer are you using? make sure you saved the changes you made. in my case i used Root Explorer because im not successful in editing build.prop in ES file explorer despite granting it with root access. also make sure that the file has permission RW-R-R :good:

make sure you already created an access point specific to your network and choose it as default. i dont encounter such error. or you can try try reflash your rom to make sure

I also encountered FC in walkman at first install of this rom, i think that happened when i uninstalled some of the bloatwares, now i reinstall the rom and did not delete bloatwares now my walkman is working fine, i also would like to ask if you have radio after installing this rom, because i have no radio application installed and upon checking in systems/apps, radio.apk was there...
But is there a way to hide soft buttons?
They're useless on JLO so how to hide it?

Yes BTW i already solved that problem. But now i need the not swapped vold.fstab cause the one in the OP doesnt work, it doesnt recognize any storage
I didnt make the apps or did any modifications into them i just ported them for sm-g7102 who are using gennxt note 4 rom .... and i give sincere thanks and credits to maxx35000 for the apps and also me for making them available for gennxt N4 rom

check your sdcard/media folder ..... been a looong time since I had a new device or one w/o root [usually you get them from root > system > media .... and/or from a system dump of the entire device]

Can anyone get the Pixel 2 UI sounds (including that new charging sound) from Android P DP2?
I downloaded an early version of Pranav Pandey's Pixel 2 wallpaper launcher for my phone, which is a Google Pixel, when it was in its' early versions. Now that the launcher had been updated, I wanted to get the new version so that the wallpapers would work instead of crashing. The first step says to uninstall any previous apk, but I can't find a way to do that. Is there a way to remove the old version in order in order to make way for the new version, and if not, is there another way to do it?

I faced a similar problem but the best I can do is disable the wallpaper app( since I have a pixel ) and that does not help. I still see the live wallpapers section in the app but when I open any live wallpaper it crashes.

I found the app when you search in the settings for "wallpaper". It shows up as "Pixel wallpaper 2017" uninstall that and install the new APK and the live wallpapers will work. At least they did for me.
Problem is solved for me thanks.
