yes after i reset it back to stock firmware sent it.back to sammy who did their magic

Could you explain what you did or what stock rom you used with pit file? I have the same problem and mine gives grey lines like yours and cant acces cwm or power-volume up and also says download do not turn of target. Tried allot but says no pit file....thanks

Hello Linuxnubee,
Thanks for the reply. One more question. Did you have it rooted before sending it back or before flashing anything? If so how did you remove root?
Thanks again!

Yeah that's good one too!! I want to know that also if possible...

Yes i had root but was able to flash original firmware back to it so it said official thankfully sammy didnt notice it was rooted but when i took it back to shop they knew lol but as it under warrenty and i pointed out hardware showing them that it didnt happen every boot only most of them they sent it off and it came back.
unfortunately they put jellybean on it even though it had ics which is what i said to put back on it.

[Q] need help going back to gingerbread from the oneclick ics

I just flashed the one click ics leak. it worked okay, but it wasnt stable enough for me. So i want to go back to Gingerbread and wait for the official release. Im new to this rooting stuff. This was actually my first time doing it. So if someone could give me step by step directions ide greatly appreciate it. Im not stupid but i am new. I tried one way on getting back to stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342348 it worked but it wouldnt let me update to 3.6 for one and two it tripped my flash counter !!!! so now im screwed on my warranty. Look, all i want is to go back to stock. please help me guys. Step by step and links please. thanks.
Did you Odin the original recovery? Or do you still have CWM? If you still have CWM you can use the file from this link to reset your flash counter. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575712

The only thing i know hoe to do it pull up odin, put the tar file in pda and hit start. But i used the one click thigh for the ics i flashed. The one click is different then odin. But does anyone have just a stock file? Like completely stock like nothing ever happened? When i get back to stock or if i get back to stock cant i just recover my back-up? lol plz and thank you guys

This is what happens when you don't read and just start flashing away with the first thing you can find. I wanna help, but I almost feel like I shouldn't. I mean, if you just read the stickies you would know how to fix this.
If u look through the threads I believe Konane has a thread for returning to stock..but there is a way..not sure of the exact step order but using Odin flash stock tar file then the reset flash count...then the stock recovery..I'll look to see if I can find a link.

what?
i didnt start flashing away. i backed out of rooting 5 times before i did it because i COMPLETLY sure on what i was doing. and i already did the konan tutorial and yes it does work. but it wont let you get at&t updates. and thats a big problem. from what i was reading about konan's tar is that it wasnt a official stock gingerbread. i went to sammobile to get the official stock file. and i did but the file is in MD5 format and i wasnt sure if i could just put that in odin under pda and go about or not. you guys know? but i DID do sooo much reading and researching before i rooted. thanks guys i really appreciate it. you have no idea

Yes you can, sammobile is complete. Just extract from the zip and flash in odin
I had to install cwm to my device after flashing back to stock and flash the uckk1 radio and use the reset flash counter zip. Then I flashed stock cwm in Odin rebooted and was able to receive the update to 2.3.6. Which breaks wallpaper scrolling. My only grip about it.
Just flash the stock radio that will solve your problem of not receiving ota updates.

read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652398, it will tell u had to restore to stock and might reset ur counter, if counter is not reset there is a fix for that too now

[Q] changed my n8010 to n8013 by mistake, how do i get back? help please

hi, to try the new 4.1.2 i flashed the usa rom for n8013 on my n8010 uk, afterwards i flashed back the stock 4.0.4 uk one, but my device now says that the device name is n8013, and i have a custom binary count, i used odin through out,
now when i look for updates i get a message saying that the device has been modified and i am not eligible for updates, i cant understand what has happened, can anyone help me getting back to n8010 and a official rom
thanks
If flashing the N8010 rom didn't fix it, it should - make sure you are using an N8010 rom, then the only other way I know of is to edit the build.prop. But you need to be rooted to do that.
Hi. Yes i tried it but didnt work. I got the firmware from sammobile. Now when i used triangle away it left me with 1 count which probably means that i am still on n8013 stock recovery. Any ideas where i could get the n8010 stock recovery from..

You will brick your tab if you wipe from stock ICS recovery.. good thing your on HC.. usually when i flash HC and got a bootloop.. the solution is wipe cache and wipe partition.. did u try doing that again? Or flash HC again then wipe cache and partion.. wiping from HC doesnt brick your tab.. but im wondering what caused the bootloop

The way to fix that bootloop is to wipe from recovery but you cant access the recovery.. the firmware that you got.. is that your tablet's stock firmware? I mean.. every country has its own firmware.. and every tablet has its own stock firmware.. depending on the country you're in.. when im having that bootloop every time when i flash HC.. especially when i flash HC over ICS ( whenever i do something stupid and got stuck on bootloop ) my way out of the bootloop is wipe from Hc recovery..

Make sure you have a firmware that includes a ".pit" file.
Check (enable) "rePartition" in Odin when you flash
Make sure that the file you use is for your model and country.

Best place to find specific firmware - http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=GT-P6200. The list is sorted by release date, so look through the entire list for your version and region.
You could possibly have a GT-P6200L or -P6201 (depending on your region/carrier), which you can select in the drop-down list on right side of the page.
I don't know if .pit file is included in the .tar.

Ok thank you for Helping me alot
I will now download my stock firmware and ill try flash it
ill just post if something would happen
thanks again to all who helped me
I think that im on a big trouble now...my Pc wont Detect The Tab now (it says unrecognize Device) but it knows that the tab is connected to the PC
and when i charge the tab it shows a loading battery sign the one with rotating circle and it just stays like that even if i charge it whole day
it started happening when I tried to flash a different firmware in short i flashed a firmware which is not my stock
The firmware i download was a honeycomb firmware XXXXXXX.tar.md5 file on a zip
and so when i extracted the zip winrar said its corrupted (file size is the same i downloaded it without a pause or anything)
and so i just continue the extraction
and then i tried to flash it with odin and odin said md5 mismatch
SO I removed the md5 on the file so it would be XXXXX.tar
and now PC wont detect tab on Download mode and I cant get into recovery mode
any suggestions?

I have a somewhat similar problem, tried to upgrade my stock rooted ICS to official JB(U.K. version) using Odin3 v3.07, halfway i encountered a FAIL message and now my GT-P6210 is stuck in a screen with a big yellow alert sign and below that a message which says " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. I'm not expert but from my dealings with Kies its pure crap lol. Though I would make sure to use a rear (not front) usb port and official samsung cable and try again with Odin with the tab in Download mode, if you can.
I think the steps here would apply (ignoring the different key combination for the tab plus and the stuff after the flashing part at the start)

finally solved the problem, after more tinkering with it, was able to go into download mode again by just pressing again the power button and the volume down button at the same time (funny thing i tried this method earlier but won't go to download mode but after leaving it on the table for an hour and getting back at it, worked fine). while tablet is in download mode, i run odin again and this time i used version 1.85, loaded the official U.K. version JB tar.md5 file, connected the cable and waited for it to be detected (windows did an auto update) and waited for the :id.com tab to light up to yellow color (by default only the auto-reboot and the F.reset was checked) and click start again and everything went fine. now i have jellybean and rooted it with framaroot(no hassle one click rooting process by alephzain, if it does'nt work just uninstall the .apk). my table is now a rooted jellybean

[Q] hope I didn't ruin my s3...

ok, well.. I should probably just stick to drumming, eh?
I used saferoot method to root my s3 with 4.3 update..
I just figured out that i did successfully root the phone, but did not unlock the bootloader.
I figured this out when I tried to make a backup of my phone and got the yellow triangle at startup
So far in Odin the VRALEC.bootchain.tar.md5 fails..
however the kernal.tar passes, but the phone doesn't load anything past the black and white verizon samsung galaxy III page...
I guess I am looking for help on how to get back to stock and where to find the right stock rom??
I do have this file "KIES_HOME_I535VRBMF1_1152558_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.md5" but don't want to try flashing it for fear of bricking..
any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You are stuck on TW 4.3 since you took the OTA. You can only root and you can not Odin flash anything except the bloated 4.3 VRUCML1 tar. You can not downgrade your firmware in any capacity. There is absolutely no flashing any custom roms/kernels/mods/recoveries.
If you can turn the phone on, boot into download mode and Odin flash the 4.3 image via Odin. If the phone does not turn on at all, then perform this hard brick method.
