[Q] Nexus S stuck in boot loop... - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got my i9020 stuck in boot loop after installing a barcode scanning app
The bad thing is usb debug mode on the device was turned off... Now the device cannot be recognised when connected to the PC.
I've searched threads in dfferent forums for 2 days but can't find any successful case that can successfully copy data from the device to pc in similar situations.
Just wonder if "wipe data / factory reset" in recovery mode is the only option now..
Please help~
Thanks.

If you can still get into recovery mode then flash the ROM again and wipe cache n dalvik only fix permission and reboot

[Q] Factory Reset problems

I''ve a rooted Motorola Xoom (Wifi) running EOS 1.0. Today, I decided that I wanted to do an Factory Reset, and the these issues are popping up.
Clicking on Factory Reset gives the following:
---Wiping data...
Formating /data...
Formating /cache...
Formating /sd-ext...
Formating /sdcard/.android_secure...
Error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure...http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
Skipping format...
Data wipe complete.
And trying to mount sd card and so forth gives me errors, any help that you can give will help.
Did you factory reset through recovery or from Xoom internal settings? If recovery which version?
Just trying to understand what could have happened.
I'm using the ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.3.1.
I might have bricked my Motorola Xoom because it won't go past the Motorola boot logo.
Thru adb, unlock ur xoom again. Push a new recovery of eos recovery r6.img and boot again. Your problem is with recovery and with mounting the internal sd card.

I can't access the Xoom Setting, because I'm stuck at the boot splash logo. Is there anyway to turn on usb debugging without acessing without having to go to the settings menu? I'm just saying nothing in the recovery menu is working, because even mounting the usb and so forth many errors appear. Like everything got deleted of my xoom.
Since you are rooted. I think you have usb debugging already enabled. What you need to do is
Get into recovery. Thru your recovery go advanced and mount system. Then try to wipe data.
Else you have to unlock your bootloader again and install another recovery and flash a rom.
Check these steps you might find commands or procedure to help you.

Thanks for all your help, but I think I done messing around with this paperweight!
Because, everytime I get the following:
C:\SDK_tools>adb reboot bootloader
*daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037*
*daemon started sucesfully*
error: device not found
I have the motorola usb drive installed and everything setup correctly, I think I might of deleted files from the main intenal data. Which might be the cause of all the the sd crd can mount or usb cant mount.
if your stuck on boot logo it won't register with PC for it to recognize its connected, have you tried putting it into fast boot manually then trying on PC?

I've tried that, but I might have done it in the wrong process. I haven't messed with my Motorola Xoom in awhile and forgot alot of the programing and ADB steps since then.

Go back to stock with heimdal/Odin...if you boot into recovery again then wipe data and cache then press reboot, or if you were using heimdal and you didn't close the program yet, put phone back and download mode and check the box for flash bootloaders, then press flash and this time you should boot up

Tried to Port Xperia remote play killed phone

Could someone please help, my nexus 5 is rooted and has twrp recovery.
I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/4-4-4-stock-xperia-devices-ps4-remote-t2868092
Flashed the zip file, then as I was wiping the dalvik cache my phones screen turned off and I was really scared, so pressed the buttons to get back into recovery volume down and power on, boot logo flashed up a twice and then a sigh of relief, then I realised I haven't got any signal on my phone, then looked into my files and they are all gone, I can't install any new apps. the phones internal memory is not showing up.
Just realized that it's not for twrp recovery it was for cwm.:crying:
How do I get out of this and back to normal
Edit -as the phone was wiping dalvik cache when the screen went off, I didnt know it was just turning the screen off, so I interupted it by reseting the device
thanks
Go into boot loader and flash stock

Why did you flash something for the Xperia on your device. Try flashing the factory image in fastboot but you might have bricked your device

Luckily the zip just contains /system files on this occasion.
/system/etc/permissions and /system/frameworks
...so flashing a Nexus 5 ROM should remedy the problem.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562 Bootloop. no recovery

Hi guys
So today i tried to restore my phone (GT-S7562) to stock rom, by flashing S7562XXALHB_DBTALH3_Germany_4.0.4_.zip
in ODIN.After this i tried to go into recovery to clear caches by pressing Vol. UP + Vol. DOWN + HOME + POWER, but it wouldn't start and when i released the buttons the phone started booting normally, but got stuck @ samsung logo. This state hasn't changed since eventhough i tried flashing cwm in case that was the problem (BTW Download mode still works fine).
Thanks in advance!
Pls help :'(
