Hey guys,
Hoping someone could help me out.
I just flashed and installed CM10,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1790032
Even since I installed it my data connection for mobile data no longer works. My signal has decreased drastically to only 1-2 bars max.
I can still make calls and text, but can't use my mobile data at all.
Any ideas?
Please help!

Did you do full wipe (reset, cache, and dalvik) before install? Get the correct Rom for type of phone (GSM, CDMA)? Have the correct version for your hboot and radio? Need some details

So here is the gist of it. I went the the full instructions on setting up the 3.4 kernel. And when i went to install the new cm after the htc logo. Its stuck on the cyanomod screen boot looping. Ive tried to flash the boot image from loading it in hassoon all in one kit to fastboot it through adb. Still getting a boot loop.

I have downloaded the OTA update for the 4.1.1 Jelly bean 3 times now and every time it ends in error. The last time I tried I even factory reset the phone incase an app was causing the error. I have a complete stock phone, no roms.
What happens is I get the notification that the update is ready and I click to install it. It reboots my phone and brings up the icon with the Android robot with the spinning cube. After a minute or so I get an icon with the robot laying down with an exclaimation mark over it and it reboots back into the 4.0.4 Android.
This blows. I have been waiting for this update and now that I have it, it screws my phone. Can anyone please help? THANKS
Steve
Do you have the stock recovery or are you using a custom recovery?

Hello everybody,
I have been having problems updating lately. I am running CM10 nightly 20121012 and every time I have tried to update to the latest nightly my phone won't pass the HTC boot screen. I have had to boot into the boot loader and restore a few times because of this. Anything I can do?

Did you look in the two other CM10 threads? There is literally 10+ pages talking about this. Remove the boot.img file from the zip and flash. The kernel is bad.

Hi,
Current Configuration:
Bootloader Unlocked,
Rooted
HBOOT 1.14
Rom: CleanRom 5.1
Since I"m on HBOOT 1.14, I understand I have to manually flash boot for each rom I flash; however, I can't seem to get any non-sense roms to work. The rom flashes with no issues, I flash boot of the new rom, boot, but once I get to the launcher, none of the of the apps seem to work. Please advise this NOOB. Much Appreciated!

Sounds like adb might be having an issue? Check out the walkthrough.
There is another thread out there about flashing kernel via an apk. I'll see if I can locate for you

make sure that before flashing you wipe (at least) the cache and dalvik cache. if you are changing from sense to aosp or vice versa you will probably want to do a factory reset in twrp (not in the bootloader - this corrupts the sdcard).
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, this is my first time posting. I have a rooted, unlocked optimus g. For about 2 or 3 weeks on start up it has no lg logo or att logo. I cannot boot into recovery using adb. I want to flash a new rom but cant. Any help would be appreciated thamls to all.
Hi. Can you boot the fastboot? If you can, then you may try flashing the boot.ing from your current Rom.
Use. Fastboot flash boot boot.ing
I hope it was helpful

Sorry. I realized that you can boot your phone. Try whit a factory reset for the logo and for the recovery I think you have to flash your recovery again!

Hey, I have been flashing stock kernel ROMs on my new HTC One M8 without any trouble, except for when I want to run ARHD 8.1
I am on 4.4.2, fully rooted and S-Off, and the flash and AROMA installation breezes through no problem.. the phone goes black for a while then comes back on in TWRP .... from there i reboot, and when it brings me to the Android setup screen i cannot continue due to persistent error messages stating that "Unfortunately com.systemui has stopped" .. another process or two also stop and persist via error dialog (SmartcardService i believe is one, i can double check if i really need to).
I am forced to 'adb reboot recovery' through command prompt and restore my nandroid backup.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.. :cyclops::good:

I am having the same exact problems. Errors keep popping up after the install. Tried wiping in recovery instead of aroma still didn't work. I'm on firmware 1.55.605.2. Very perplexed. Could be that the firmware needs to be downgraded to match the firmware of the rom. For Verizon, their last firmware update was what i said above. This particular rom is based off firmware 1.54.401.10. Not sure if this has something to do with it, but would love to find a solution as I really want to try out this rom.

I'm using TWRP at the moment. I also used phillz. But keep getting those popping errors after install. Tried wiping in recovery instead of in aroma, still don't work. I've flashed other roms successfully, but this one is not cooperating.

I'm going to try downloading the rom on my computer and then doing an md5 checksum. Could be that the one I downloaded onto my phone is corrupt.

Okay got it to work. I did two things. Not sure which one made it work. But I re-downloaded the rom and did a checksum then copied it to my sd card. I also installed phillz recovery. I am having one problem with the rom though. The gps is not locking in. I looked around in the forum but couldn't find a fix.
