CyanogenMod 9 RC2 Released for Various Devices

While the XDA Portal has seemingly been Jelly Bean, Jelly Bean, JELLY BEAN as of late, there is still much development work to be done on finalizing and perfecting builds based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. After all, many would rather have a bullet-proof daily driver than an admittedly awesome preview build, which could potentially be a bit buggy.
As such, the CyanogenMod team has now released CyanogenMod 9 Release Candidate 2. Users can expect RC2 to be quite stable. It also adds support for new devices. As described on the CyanogenMod blog:
This release serves to stabilize CM9 as a product that you’d let your mom use, as well as add support for the following devices:
* Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (all variants)
* Samsung Galaxy SII on AT&T – Skyrocket
* Samsung Galaxy SII on T-Mobile – Hercules
* Samsung Galaxy Note on AT&T
* Samsung Galaxy SIII – i9300 (International GSM model)
In addition to the new devices, those which were previously supported in earlier CM9 builds retain official support. Currently supported devices, courtesy of a discussion thread created by XDA Forum Member safariking are:

Can any of the devs comfirm if this will work for our phone?
Wait, so CM9 now works on the Blaze? I checked online and they have a build for "Quincyatt" which is the Blaze, as described above.

What a sudden surprise! Nightlies have been up for 4/5 days now. I wonder why the Android Development forum for Blaze had no thread about it.

I think that may have been a type because when I Google the changelog for quincyatt resulted in the Galaxy Note. Hopefully I'm wrong :-/

hi everybody
i see that the LTE version on the note 10.1 isn't supported as well as the other versions
do you know if we can use roms and mods wich are dedicated fo other versions for the LTE version or not ?
can you make more support for the 8020 plz?
thank you for your patience
+1 you have my support call for LTE version to be included in custom kernels n roms.

Same here...
Was impressed by this tablet right from the start but have really gotten a flow going with the s-pen and the awesome stuff that can be done and really excited at the thought of the developers polishing off things with a patch here and a patch there.
Having said that though I have been/am super impressed with Samsung for the apps lik Snote etc.. what was once bloatware and tossed on the rubish has proven to be the cherry on the icing of the cake I have and get to eat regularly!
Still some sexy gfx in a nice super charged rom would be the... umm, ah yeas, the glazing on the cherry on the ici..... yah dig?

There is a developer "humberos", which implements the versions cyanogen with his (super ) kernel.
He also supports models N8020 (LTE).
Give this a look

Until a way to unlock the bootloader of the SCH-i925 is discovered you cannot root, install custom recoveries, or custom ROMs on the device.
It would be nice then some Dev's shows love for the 4G model, I would spend some money for the hard work.

[Images] Google Play Edition w/ Android 4.3

Hey guys, so here's my first post, lol and I apologize if this is in the wrong spot or area.
Just wanted to show off a few images of the beta Google Play software with android 4.3.
Google basically did what Samsung should of done in the first place- debloated it.. But also made it Aosp along side and partnering with Samsung for the development.
I've added the screenshots which are achieved with power button and volume down hold.
By the way the home screen is my custom creation and does not come with this back ground or clock.
Thank you to Kylecore for links and installation instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2342625 / http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2342625

Battery life is very very good in my opinion [or so far I guess lol]. Ive seen no problems of slow charging or fast discharging. Also it uses only .7 gb of the total rom in the phone where twizz from Samsung uses like 2.4gb of the 2.85 total

Goldeneye rom 3minit compatbility!

Hey everyone! I'd just like to take a moment and get everyones attention to let you know of an important piece of news. Recently, iB4STiD had updated his GOLDENEYE ROM to XXUBMH8, which was incompatible with the 3minit framework that we love to put onto our S4's. Recently GOLDENEYE 6.3 was released with performance optimizations and also given compatibility with the 3minit framework! You can clearly see this in the change log. Anyways, just thought I'd let you all know in case you've been running GOLDENEYE for AT&T S4's.
Thanks to iB4STiD by the way, he's an EXCELLENT ROM developer!

I updated to ge 6.3 and was able to get 3minit settings. If you look at the gary's file directory...go to i9505 folder then download the framework from the mgg folder.
Initially I thought there were incompatible issues as well but I read through the the ge forum that we can use mgg for mh8. If you need more info....it's somewhere in the ge thread
