I'm looking for a Sturdy Case that will fit Nexus One with 3200 seidio battery. Something with rubber for shock impact so if I was to drop it it wouldn't be a problem. Also I would like it to fit pretty tight. I am an equipment operator and there's a lot of dust and dirt flying everywhere. I don't want to worry to much about dust/dirt getting caught between the case and the phone.
Saw it on amazon. They said it would only work with their extended battery setup. It also appears the button areas are covered so that would make me think the case is stronger on the lip area near those buttons. I'm so curious to find out if it would fit on a Hyperion extended battery setup. Anyone try this already? I'm aware of the Hyperion tpu case and I don't like it one bit. It's too thin and the case is cut out for the buttons and weak in that area. A month or so ago, that honeycomb case was the only one out there for extended batteries.
UPDATE
It does fit the Hyperion extended life battery and door. It was a tight fit. I had to put the bottom in first then work the lip of the case over the edge of the screen all the way around. I've seen better quality tpu cases but this one does the job. It looks like you could take an exacto knife on the edges where they combined the top and bottom half. There's a little extra material there but no big deal. The volume and power buttons are not cut out so that will make the case lip area stronger in those spots. I didn't test the feel of the buttons with the case on. I just put the door on and case to see if it fits. For eight bucks, I guess there's not a whole lots to complain about. The case is gloss around the edges but matte on the flat back part. This is the most snug tpu case I've owned. It's not hard to put on, it's just snug and suggested you insert the bottom first. If you have a screen protector that is film, and not glass, and not perfectly centered, it might peel up the edges of it. I will post pictures from my other phone in a few minutes in case you're curious.
UPDATE 2:
Just tried getting the case on the phone with the battery installed too. It kinda fit but the lips of the case wouldn't completely catch over the edge of the screen. It would probably stay on but not perfectly. The Yesoo back cover, for their extended battery, must be a hair smaller than the Hyperion.

i read the review on the gs3 yesoo extended case. and according to that...its another flimsy tpu. I would assume the s4 case is the same.
seidio released their new extended case on their site. But you have to buy their set up. Case and back door..which would set you back $55 total.
I wouldnt mind paying that..But i had a seidio extended case for the s3...and the rubber was so flimsy around the edges. And loooking at the s4 case on their site...it seems to be another flimsy set up.
That being said. The seidio is the best protection u can get at this moment for the extended battery at this moment and time. and thats not saying much.
Seidio extended batteries with my past phones, the back battery for was very thin and flimsy and never fit perfectly. There were always gaps and would never snap completely shut.
Today I said to hell with it and ordered one to see if it fits. It should be here in the beginning of next week. The shipping damned near cost as much as the case. I hope it's good and fits. I'll report back when I finally get it.
I just received my Seidio extended battery today and I got the extended Active case and holster and it's great. It's probably the slickest setup you're going to get as far as extendeds go; a little pricey but worth it.

That looks like a decent case. Have you got a link for it?
I'm looking for the most rugged extended battery case I can find for GS4. All the ones I've seen do not offer much screen protection. I like covers with something actually protecting screen also. Is there anything out there I'm not finding. Not concerned about weight. Thanks.
Just a quick update in case someone else stumbles across this post in the future. I never got a response but after much googling I discovered the ZeroLemon Case and battery. I bought the ZeroLemon Samsung Galaxy S4 7500mah Extended Battery and the ZeroLemon Orange / Black Zero Shock Series Hybrid Case. I've been using for about a month now and I'm very pleased with both. I'll never go back to a normal battery again.
Does such a battery exist? I have been looking through several reviews of batteries and I don't see any that keep the water resistance. Not sure if this is a deal breaker for me or not.
Also in the past I have liked the Seidio set up since it seemed to be the only/best option for a protective case that fit an extended battery. It doesn't look like they have one for the S5 yet. anyone know if they are planning on introducing one?
Bob
Another option for a case to fit an extended battery is a TPU case for the Hyperion 6500 mAh battery. No water resistance however.
Anyone know of a good holster for the UNU extended battery case? I found a cheap looking leather one, but was looking for something a little more durable.
