Anyone want to buy my Galaxy 4G?

Because honestly, the development sucks on this phone. Also, it appears any kind of development for this has been abandoned....I just can't keep a phone that I cannot modify..and yes, I am too busy/ignorant to learn the development on my own..

I agree with you that's why I got me the Nexus S 4G and dump T-Mobile and their bull mofos where giving me edge every 2 weeks since I got the SGS4G ... and never gave me my mail in rebate ... also they give more promotion power to crap phones like that Nokia. I think if I saw 1 ad for this phone it was a miracle ... but that's my beef with T-Mobile ... back to the phone I think it could have been great. But I'll again compare it to the Sega Dreamcast bad ass died young ...

I'm the same way. So as to why that guy is being a jack ass to you is the real question here... like has he done anything to help the SGS4G community? I don't think so... and the ass trying to shut down the thread mike has made. Probably has not heard of freedom of speech?

lmao freedom of speech? By all means. We are just trying to have hope and what not for our phones. =)
But for someone who doesn't have hope or patients shouldn't make others feel bad, by posting this thread.honestly we can all agree to some and disagree to some of mike's reasons but that's just reminds us that our phones are not being progressed faster like other phones but it's okay if you have hope. =)

Like mentioned already I would look at craigslist to sell the phone. Hit me up on twitter and let me know if its still for sale i will tweet it for you and see if there are any takers.
Everyone else, We are still just really waiting on some final mods within the CWM. Once that is all figured out then ROM's will come out.

With many of the new hot Sammy coming out I hope we don't lose too many of you great members and devs. I know many people will be tempted to transition to the new hot phones ( and I'm tempted too) but hope that the skyrocket will continue to get the love it deserves. With that being said if you do choose to move on to the next set of hot phones,I for one will miss many of you because I have been able to improve my phone and phone education because of you great forum members. Whatever you choose to do thanks again for your time. Sincerely. a fan. PS this sounds like a breakup letter but really it's a thank you kinda thing.

Know I don't do too much deving around here, but I'm always trying to do what I can to help out. Actually would love to start learning a bit. Had some experience on my Captivate. Only phone I'd really see myself jumping to is the SR HD, but chances are really slim to none with that since I JUST got this phone and the rest of my family uses iPhones...
Definitely nice to see that most of everyone is going to be staying with it though. Definitely seeing development heading in the right direction QUICK around here without so many people wining about everything. Yeah, we all have requests, but the last few phone forums I was on was nowhere near as productive as a community rather relying SOLELY on the dev to do everything for them. Yeah, would love to see some of those devs here like designgears, but we have a SOLID group here. Looking forward to what's coming for this phone!

[Rom] AOSP Style X download link only..NO SUPPORT!!

I noticed that the AOSP Style X Rom was removed from the development. I decided to look around for it online because I never saved it on my computer. I am simply re-posting it just in case anyone wanted to download it again.

+1 to that. I have to agree here. airfluip1, you do have this attitude and although I can't tell whether it's bad or not because it's only letters, they may sound troll-ish or offensive. I have been a troll sometimes too, I admit, in extreme cases. I know it's frustrating to deal with lots of people and mostly when questions are stupid but that's something devs should be prepared for. I really don't mind because the attitude has been around for some time that I'm used to it and just not in developers, but users and specially those that think they are above others because they self proclaimed forum sheriffs.
Anyway... I look forward to more AOSP Style so take this as constructive criticism, if you want to. If not, it's OK too.

Oh no, I'm so scared to get this removed. I clearly stated it wasn't mine. Just trying to help people out who never saved the rom to their computer. Its a good rom and I'm sure I helped a few people out who wanted it.

You gotta understand comeing into the channel and asking for CM7 updates every hour we clocked it u could actually set your clock to it. Doesn't Help development one bit. LOL yeah I noticed the ETA asking.

I've been in there a few times. Once to ask FB & Bryan where to post some logs for their review. The times after that was to just hang out, see what's being discussed, and socialize a bit.
My point is that at no time did anyone kick/ban me nor was anyone rude. It was pretty laid back.
If/when you're back in there Airfluip, just be chill & you will be treated with the same respect as you give others. Not trying to say anything against you by any means - just offering some advice from an old guy

PRO tip. If you had just idled in the channel you would've gotten all the info and updates you wanted. There are a few users who do this and they get the info they wanted because they just stay there and read what we have to say. Once I get back to my computer I can maybe let you join the channel muted. You won't be able to type anything but you will get your progress updates

I have a thread in the nexus 4 forum as well. I just figured users of his Vengeance ROM might want to donate and will be able to see this in the S III forums more easily.

This is first and hopefully a last. A bounty for a phone that isn't even the same phone that the section it is in.
On top of it the Nexus 4 isn't even available on the same carrier we are all on.
Building Roms on the Nexus 4 will not help the S3 forum at all.

I disagree, bounty thread can be great, like when we got the htc incredible 4g community a bounty s-off tester phone (within 3 hours mind you), which did play about 99% role in getting s-off (phone wise) from a developer standpoint it was unlimited.io team 100%. but without that phone, s-off may still not be on the htc inc4....

The skyrocket dev community is awesome

I just wanted to say how much i appreciate all the help and support from you guys here in the skyrocket community. I recently went on to the optimus g to start deving for that phone and the community over there is horrible compared to how it is here. So i thank you, skyrocket community, for being awesome and showing how a dev community is supposed to be.

team codefire thinks they get to make all the decisions for the optimus g dev community. theres alot of arrogant attitudes over there. the thing i like the best about this skyrocket community is the way everyone worked as a team for the greater good of the community.

its all in the way u phrase the question. If your specific and show u read and at least tried I guarantee someone will help. Don't make it general, make it specific and ALWAYZ search.

I agree, this community is awesome. I don't have enough post here to post in the development area, but have flashed just about everyone's ROM at least twice. Any problems I have can be easily solved with a quick search of the Skyrocket sub-forum.
I'm on my 6th Android device, and this is the most supportive community I've seen.

I agree, this community is awesome. I don't have enough post here to post in the development area, but have flashed just about everyone's ROM at least twice. Any problems I have can be easily solved with a quick search of the Skyrocket sub-forum.
I'm on my 6th Android device, and this is the most supportive community I've seen.

More support than the zoom? Who would've thought... the rest u can see though for sure

The Aria is still alive though. The forums are ALMOST dead, but my Aria is still running a newer version of Android than my friends' GSIIIs.
