Hii guys i am Kd and today i will guide you to root lg optimus net p-690

1. Download Superoneclick 2.2
------------------------------------------------------------

After downloading extract it anywhere you please. Now go to ur system folder i.e where you have installed your OS (i.e Win xp, win 7 etc) Lets say its in the 'X' Drive. So go to X:/WINDOWS/system32/cmd.exe and copy it, now go to where you installed Superoneclick. Inside the folder there'll be a folder as "ADB" open it and paste the 'cmd.exe' you copied.

2. Now you need the LG ADB Drivers
Download the drivers and install it:-

It is recommended that you restart after installing the drivers.

3. Connect your Device
After installing the Drivers Connect Your Optimus Net using the data cable. In your Device go to settings>Applications>Development>USB Debbuging. Check the box beside it. It will give you a warning just click OK. When you connect your Device you will see 'Turn USB storage on" option DO NOT TURN IT ON. After connecting you will see in the notification bar that "USB Debbuging On" it means you have done evrythng ok uptil now.
Now before rooting Go to settings>Storage>Unmount SD Card it will ask you if you want to unmount click OK. After it is unmounted you can begin rooting. MAKE SURE YOU UNMOUNT THE SD CARD OTHERWISE IT MAY BE COMPLETELY ERASED.
4. Now Let's Root
Now Go to the ADB folder. Remember the cmd.exe you pasted there? Click on it.
WINDOWS 7 USERS MAKE SURE BEFORE CLICKING CMD YOU RIGHT CLICK AND CLICK ON 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR' AND ALLOW
In the commands write the following:- [Give the exact spaces i have given OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK!!]:-
adb devices (press enter)(after this command you should see your device id)
adb shell (press enter) (after this command you should see $ sign)
$ echo 1 >/data/local/lge_adb.conf (press enter)
DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW JUST MINIMIZE IT!!
Now go to Where you extracted Superoneclick and click on superoneclick.exe.
In the window on the Top Left hand Side of the window there will be an option 'ROOT'.
CLick on it!
it doesnot come on 3.4+
now i am rebooting my device
note:::[+] Rush did it ! It's a GG, man ![+] Killing ADB and restarting as root... enjoy!
when you get this message reboot your phone so that reboot process completes successfully
Hence, you have a rooted Optimus Net do whatever you want

Will this method work on LG P940...? I tried to use SuperOneClick (on it's own) and it hangs up on Step #7:

on step 7 if your phone hang and doest restart pull out battery and reinsert and power on phone

I will admit I am an android n00b, in fact, this is my first droid and only 3 weeks out of the packaging and I STILL managed to root it. A great DIY post. Works like a charm....
... and now I will try to figure the rest of this root business out.

Please help me, I tried to install LG Driver but after installing successful, I check in Device manager but don't found LG driver.
So it's still ok ? Can I continue to Root or not ?

Like ChickenCanFly, I am having problems with device manger recognizing the device and it return allowing ADB to display the device. I have tried the LG driver from above, and also the drivers provided from LG's website with no success. I tried on two different Windows 7 (32bit), Win Server 08 R2 (64bit) and Windows XP Pro (32bit) with no positive outcome. It seems that I can not get this phone to be recognized by any version of Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Download LG Mobile Support Tool
Once Installed, choose "Install USB Driver"
Then choose the model number of your phone. (Can be found by pulling the battery and looking on the info panel)
Install and then go through your rooting method.

But if I root my phone and then unroot, then can I take it to the guarantees, would they be able to see that I have had my phone rooted? Would they accept my phones guarantees?

No they shouldn't if you completely removed the software changes and undo any other customizes such as changing the boot animation and UI tweaks.
I had a phone that had a custom bootloader, custom animations and custom rom with root, and the screen broke and I turned it in for a replacement and Verizon didn't say I word. I heard that in most cases the company the deals with exchange don't spend too much time playing around with the device to see what you did or no do to its software. Don't take my word for it though.

How to put ICS on my LG device ( device not found) root

hello,
I've tried a few times to root my device but it doesn't.
i want to try this rom: [ROM][ICS][P920] First ICS 4.0.4 Full 3D ROM Ported From SU760
I also read the guide: [GUIDE] [TOOL] Rooting the "First ICS 4.0.4 Full 3D ROM Ported From SU760" but nothing work.....
I cant instal a zip from SD with rom manager because my device says your device is not rooted....
For rooting my device i used this tool: adb_restore_rooting-v1.2.zip but freezes.
It told me this:
pussing bussybox:
device not found..
i turned usb debuging on, bus nothing worked for me.
who want to help me?

From my experience the same thing happened to me.my mistake was I did not extract the restore file I jus opened it in the zip folder.extract it to the same folder where you have your zip saved then it will pick up busy box.open rooting.bat from the extracted folder

hi, i've try this, but it wont work...
it says always:
deomon is not running
deamon starting at port 5037.
deamon start succesfully
error: device not found.
i've try to connect with usb debugging,lg pcsuite en mass storge but nothing worked for me....

did you extract the whole rooting file or just the the rooting.bat.you must extract the whole folder if you did not.

when yo connect the cell do you hear a guiar sound and two icons apears one usb and a little bug??
because i have the same problem i just push the button to make a call,
now enter the number: 3845#*920# This will redirect you to the full hidden menu. Once there, you can go to the PORT SETTINGS menu and set it to AP USB thanks to member vicionastral
And if you want to upgrade with the LG software, you must set this to AP USB and make it stay. Then when you are upgrading, you must stay vigilant and press (and keep pressed) the volume up button in the moment it reboot the phone (or before it reboots, just to be sure)
This way, a white screen with red text "factory upload" will show and upgrades will have no problems.
(this mode normally only happens when you press the volume up button with the phone off, and then connect it to the usb port and there is an LG software commanding the phone via usb) thanks to member vicionastral

This happened to me . I used adb_restore-rooting v1.6 and it's work .
When you install ICS you install "lg drivers" as v1.1 right ??
I update the drivers to version v3.xx (from lg support tool) and it's works fine .

Thank you! I'm on it, will give it a go...I just hope it does not brick my tablet Rooting was so easy with my X8 and S3.

Well, seems the tablet manufacturer has no drivers. Win 7 detects the tablet but cannot find any drivers. Guess I will have to wait till someone comes up with one.

uninstall unlock root
put the tab in mtp
install unlockroot
run it as administrator
connect cable to pc
now put the tab in debugging mode
click root it should detect

Working root iball i1017!!!!
Step 1: Activate USB debugging in your Slide
Step 2: Activate MTP - USB to PC connection
Step 3: Connect to Slide to PC (Mine is Win 7 Professional)
Step 4: Unzip and unrar all the files in the driver zip file. Click here to download the ADB driver zip file.
Note: While unzipping my Antivirus showed alerts and removed few files.. so i had to disable my antivirus temporarily..
Step 5: In your Windows PC >> Device Manager >> Right click over i1017 >> Update driver >> Browse my computer for driver software >> select the unzipped folder and update the driver
Step 6: Install Kingoroot (Its FREE!!!)
Step 7: Open Kingoroot as Administrator.. Kingoroot will automatically download essential driver or files necessary
Step 8: For me Kingoroot showed that the device has been already rooted.. So, i clicked the "Root again" button.. Your slide will reboot and u can see Super SU installed!!!
i think you can unroot using Kingoroot if u want to claim your warranty..

2. when i try manual drivers method-control panel-device manager-other devices there are 2 type of directries and both have mark of ! .
3.when i open unlockroot click in root it said you device is not connected..but my device already detect by moborobo.
4.i ask my 1 friend for help but he is saying to me drivers are preinstall in your mobile but my phone have not.so i download it aprox 8mb pakage in rar but its not working.
now tell me what i have to do ;(

download adb and installed the adb usb drivers, that should do the trick. also it looks like its has android 2.3 gingerbread, you can try this Method instead if you can get the usb working. (download the link on the second post, its a apk so install it from your phone.

hey i knw what u shud do looks like u cant install adb drivers........what u shud do instead is install adb drivers via PDAnet......its a software which will download adb drivers for u when i was new to rooting i cudnt install adb drivers myself so i used PDAnet......download PDAnet sotware I'm bound to post outside links n i dnt hav the link on xda so u can search it on google.......I hope it helps.................. n ohh please hit the thanks button afterwards......!~!

[GUIDE] How to ROOT HUAWEI Y5II CUN-L21

I finally managed to root this device after many unsuccessful attempts!!! This should work on any y5II model.

Due to reported problems, I can't really help you much with it. If you have patience
you can try this method, for others please refer to this method:

Let start:
1. Download KingRoot application version v5.0 (latest version when I tested)(if it doesn't work try other versions)
2. Install and open it
3. Try to root (you will probably get a message: unable to root) <=== you must try to root in order to create user folder. After unsuccessful attempt close application.
4. Now connect your device to your computer and open internal storage or sd card (depends on where is installed)
5. You will find folder named Kingroot (and within I have 1 folder called user)
6. Now open that folder and copy e_config files to the desktop
7. Open them with notepad (or similar text editing software) and delete whole text
8. Now paste the following code : ( ~RootAccessEnabled=Help=CPUz•codE=982620164910274
~Installsystemaccesstophone•codE=10637102Yv820Hke720b710bsi;-rootdownload=Help=RootStrai...

9. Now replace e_config files within the folder user.
10. Disconnect phone from computer and open KingRoot application

I didn't. You don't have to unlock it.

You must be persistent. In developer option try to enable "enable OEM unlock", than restart phone. Than try again.
Try with both computer and phone kingroot. After you get KingUser installed you can do step 2.

Did you install hisuite and drivers. Try app now and enable oem unlock in developer options.

i also saw under device manager on pc that i have some issues with some MTP driver and windows cant find it automatically. and i cant get anymore view phone storage if I choose files on phone. when I choose photos it only shows photos and dcim folder. do u know where i can install new drivers

Uninstall all drivers that you insalled, restart your computer. Connect phone and press files, now on computer open hisuite and install it, it will automatically download all necessary drivers.

I don't know what could be the problem, did you paste the code correctly? Try to root via pc than try apk again.

Worked fine for me.
After the app failed to do it, I checked with the desktop app (no luck, I guess... my Chinese is not the best) then once more with he apk and it worked!
