I don't get any ECM file. I know my emulator and BIOS work 'cause I've already played RE3 without any problem, though I can't remember how I got the ISO file from 7Zip. Now I downloaded MGS, and when I unzip the .7z I get everything in parts. These include an image file, .ccd, .cue and .sub for each of the disc of the game. What do from there?
PS: I extract the files using both Winrar and 7zip, no result
You should rip your own CDs, it's illegal to download PS1 games from the internet.
Call the FBI then.

That one's shareware, right? Is it worth it?
I found it, by coincidence. Looking for somethng else. The one I was looking for is MSCEInf. You can find it easy at Molski.Biz in his dev pack.
You know, you can extract CAB files using WinRAR and i think even 7zip can too
WinRAR doesn't extract them with the proper filenames, at least not the version I have.
Never tried 7zip for cabs, but winzip and winrar always screwed them (install cabs) up for me.
I just recall it extracts it, don't shoot the messenger (unless he comes from MS!)
It did extract, but into parts/packages, not the full directory/reg files.

I'm trying to find a program that will allow me to unzip 7zip files using my Tilt, but the only one I've found soft resets my phone. Pocketrar doesn't support .7z... Any suggestions?
Try this it just might do the job
7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. It much like winzip found on most of your devices. Some of you may even use the PC client of 7-zip to archive and unzip files. Well now you can do the same with your PPC.

7zip seems no use for me, cause ever time I open a .7z file it just open the application, its then I need to open the .Dir/ where my file is stored to execute it. I use WinRAR for all my extraction. And its freeware.
I get the "not enough storage to complete operation" error
Right now I don't have access to a computer and I really need to extract this 7z file. Btw, does anybody know where I can find a RAM build of gingerbread, like the super RAM froyo by darkstone?

.7z files are a different format of ZIP files; you need 7-zip to open them. It's free.
Okay. Here is my situation. I have the original Playstation disc but my cat decided to have some fun with it. It is now scratched beyond belief. I went to coolrom.com to download the image. Found it and extracted it....no problem so far.
Here is the issue. The files I extracted contain several bin files and a cue file. Since there is no way to mount a virtual drive in Android, I decided to use my Macpup Linux laptop and ran "cat TombRaider.bin.001 TombRaider.bin.002....etc.>image.bin" in the terminal. It merged all the files into one single file.
Success, right? Wrong....I can play the game, yes....without sound! Ugh! Please....any advice would be awesome, guys!

Well if theres any files with a 001 002 extension they're usually rar files in my experiance try extracting with winrar or something ps games should only be 1 bin 1cue file or CCD depending on what they were ripped with.
Sent from my HTC RubyUIX using xda app-developers app
I'm none too sure about this and it's relatedness to Android itself nor the SK4G. (Nor do I condone piracy, which if you own an original copy is NOT piracy). However, .bin files are disc image files and are read by the emulator this .bin is usually the game. However, as said above if it's 001, 002 format, you may need to use WinRAR if not, HJSplit on Windows to extract/join the archives. After doing so, the outcome should either be a .bin file type or .cue file type.

Ah, the Jedi Master himself....thanks, TLS. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes. Thanks to you too, azcledel. :good:
No such luck, guys. After some extensive research, I found out that because of the subchannel audio bins, it must be burned to a cd then played using espxe. I just figured that since I had Final Fantasy 7 working, that I could play this classic on my phone. Ah, well.
Well, I downloaded assassins creed game cache of size 105.03MB. Now when I try to extract it using ".zip" extension it shows BAD FILE and if I rename it to "rar" extension it becomes archivable and there are 2 folders inside ... Whwn i extract that it extracts the first folder easily but when it comes to second it shows " rar encrupted exception" or asks for password which hasn't been provided by the Game Provider
......
Now I wonder if there's any way to extract it

Ask for the password..
if you buy the game on the Play store you won't have this problem.
