Note charging issue - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone!
My note is on revolution 6.0, and it's taking FOREVER to fully charge. I charged it over night for maybe 10 hours and it's only at 50%.
I've been using 6.0 for a while so I don't think that's it. The other possible issue is my chord at the tablet end is mysteriously frayed and kinda janky now.
If the cord still works, could it still be a source of the problem?

I have same the problem. May I help us ?
I have same the problem. I waste 20 hours in charging the note 10.1 on HD revolution 5.1.

Interesting. I swear it didn't always take that long with 6.0 and that it was just my chord, but it sounds like it may just be a rom issue.

Are you using the factory wall charger or? Are you charging with a wall charger or USB hooked to computer/car? I honestly do not notice this problem with the NS.

I was using an iPod wall adapter right now because i forgot mine at home..
Also I know this is offtopic but can someone tell me how to optimize the battery life on this phone? Idle why but I feel like the battery isn't that great on this phone

Mine took like 3hour 20min-ish for the first charge. 3hour-ish for the second and third.

If you have the Super Amoled version, then you can use an all black desktop screen saver, switch your email/Facebook/weather syncs to a later time (2-6 hours instead of every 30 minutes), put the phone in 2g only mode when your not browsing the web or downloading apps, etc.

What the hell does this got to do with a 6 hour charge time ? As if the display is on all the time... or as if the syncing uses 10%+ off battery. It has nothing to do with this stuff, you're just not on the same page as the problem.
Try again with the original charger plugged into the wall socket, not into USB.

Why don't you read before you post tough guy? You sound real stupid. The OP asked an off topic question about how he can gain better battery life. "Hooked on Phonics" anyone?

Oh, I get it. Sorry, my bad.
I realised my Nexus S does take some time to charge up fully as compared to my Incredible S though.
Charger's rating is diff though after observing. 1A against 0.7mA

[Q] Battery life is horrible all of a sudden?

For the past couple of days my battery has been draining at an unbelievable rate. I've been using the same rebel rom for a while and this is a new issue to me. Does anyone have ideas of what I can do to fix this? I can hardly last a single day on one charge when before I could last almost two.
Here are some screenshots.

Same thing happened to my friend, turning off LTE fixed it.
I used to get24 hrs total time and 5 hours screen time. Now I'm averaging 8 hours total and 2.5 hours screen time. No crazy wake locks or anything. Started happening after flashing cleanrom 4.5 and all the different radios. May go to stock ruu reunlock and install 4.5 again see if it helps.

Charging time

I wanted to get an idea of how long it takes people to charge up their phones? I have noticed that my phone takes a long time. 4 hours our more usually. I'm using the stock charger with stock battery. Any body else having this problem?

Try restarting the phone. For me after this is done, charging time improves significantly. Don't know why but it works.
My phone charges in about 4 hours or so. However, my car charger does it in half the time. It may be the lame charger that comes with the phone that is the problem.

I get give or take 12 hours of battery off my phone on a average day.
I found that I got better battery life once I switched ROMs.

I got the One X, and so far I've been on the battery for 12 hours. It started at 99%, and after some internet radio (30-45 Min), facebook, and lots of WiFi usage I'm down to 34%...
I'm running stock too...

Hey guys, I've recently bought a AT&T HTC One X. This is my first smartphone, and it is fully stocked, locked bootloader and no root, android 4.0.4 and software version 2.20.502.7, really like the phone. However, I am not really impressed with the battery life. I would usually charge it over night for around 8 hours, take it off in the morning at around 08:00, take it to school, casually check facebook/gmail, maybe watch one or two videos and by the time I get home at around 15:30, the battery would be at around 15%. I was wondering whether this is normal and if there is any point of my rooting the device and flashing any custom roms?
I have disabled all the AT&T bloatware, decreased my screen brightness to around 25%, no live wallpapers, disabled auto syncing, wifi and mobile data mobile switched on only when I use it, only have a weather/clock widget and a couple of games. So I have been researching about rooting and customer roms for about a month now, and found out that some members have amazing battery life times with Cleanroms and custom kernels, so I was wondering whether the latest 5.1 Cleanrom with a Beastmode kernel 4.4 would cause any damage to my phone and whether any of you guys are using it?
Thanks for your time!

Excessive battery drain?

Hi, think im about 2 weeks into my ownership of my N5, and over tha last few days ive noticed that the battery seems to drain far quicker now than previously. For example, my phone was 100% when I unplugged it at 8am this morning, and at 12: you can see the drain with very light use. I notice android is using a lot? Is this normal?
Any tips etc?
Thanks
i also have this problem, since 4.4.1 update Android OS is draining a lot

I have a new "winner" in the battery drain category - this morning, I looked at mine & "Exchange Service" is now #2 on the list when I tap on the Battery.
Can I say, let's see what 4.4.3 is going to bring in terms of fixes & breaking more ...
Well, whatever it was, a factory reset resolved It! Been running sweet since i reset the old girl.
I've been having issues for a week now with Android Os/Kernel killing my battery. Just figured out in my case, it was having the "Enable Battery Stats" module in Xposed. Been running it for a few hours and everything but this Damn Audiomix wakelock seems good

The same in nmy nexus 5
I have the same problem in my nexus 5 after updated to 4.4.3 the use of batery for Andoris OS is around 20 % higher
