XDA Samsung Repair Utility? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Does anybody know where I can find the XDA Samsung Repair Utility? found in this guide? I deleted my IMEI and the thread on how to restore it can't be accessed on xda.

I believe it was pulled - violating rules. Try a search I think there was a thread a few weeks back asking that same question.

Same here! It would be great if someone could post a mirror! Seems there are more and more people losing their IMEI's and no exact guides to restoring it. have seen the xda repair utility in a video, and it would be great if it was that easy to fix our devices.
Anyone? Buller? Buller?
regards!

I don't think we can have mirrors for that tool on xda but I can point you guys in the right direction. See my post.

It took me a while to find but the easiest solution was to odin back to stock. Section 5 here.
Then type *2767*3855# on stock dialer to reprovision your phone (will wipe again).

Hi, guys! If you never mind, I need a link for this tool xda samsung repair utility verizon s3, please, send me right now necessary.

No one, really?

At least one decent soul could have replied whether options detaching spen was still working for them after 4.1.2 update. A simple "Yes it works, you have a problem", or "no it is a common problem" would have suffice. Is it that difficult to reply to an Android friend?
It works.
Yes it works, you have a problem, and no, it is NOT a common problem.

Thanx. I think my ota upgrade over rooted system messed up a bit. I gave up and installed Darkman's ROM. Now everything works. Never gonna do stock firmwares.

Mine is rooted & bone stock. Your problem is not indicative of bad firmware. It is just a fluke, sucks to be you(j/k), maybe
All you most likely had to do was a factory reset. Custom roms are fine, but I actually like how this stock firmware runs.

That is why the search function exists. Plus, it's still on the first page of the forum...no excuse.
Not only that, but the author of that article at Android Geeks needs to apologize for not giving credit where credit is do. Even if the original poster of the method here at XDA didn't come up with it (Maybe they did, I don't know) it should have still given a citation to the XDA thread.

Call US cellular and have them run the IMEI to check it.
Unfortunately, as far as unlocking it and putting it on AT&T, I'm currently not seeing any unlocks for that to make it possible.

Honestly, after doing some searching... the people in this thread link below may be of the most help to you. Phone unlocking and flashing isn't my most knowledgeable subject... and according to the thread below, it's somehow possible to unlock this CDMA phone to a GSM network... which would include AT&T. So, I wish you good luck. And maybe someone more knowledgeable on this subject will answer you here.

According to the thread, you must be rooted and be on a 4.1.2 AOKP ROM for it to work.

My suggestion would be sell the us cellular one and get the one you need. You can unlock and flash but you will be limited to 3g data speeds. Your calling and texting should be ok.

And that's most likely what I will do/amd doing already, but in the mean time I would like to be able to use it. So I found and easy root methed and the phone is now rooted. because its cdma does it still need *unlocked* ?

Make a backup of the stock ROM to your internal and external memory if you have an SD card in it. Go to that thread link I provided you earlier and see if it works for you.
You'll have to flash a ROM such as the one the thread talks about to get the menu.

+1
op's question to vague
are you on stock
exactly whats steps did you take in entering the code
answer could be in the 1stop sticky in the guide/info section
AT&A are bunch of asses when it comes to unlock codes , they will come up with million excuses not to unlock your device...
Search for 3rd party companies online who can sell you the unlock code for your IMEI,it can cost you 10-30$ but well worth it of you really need your device outside of at&t.
Is your device rooted? If so u will need to return to stock firmware for it to work hope u get it going

AT&T Stock Rooted Rom

this is a link to my dropbox of the at&t d80010d stock rooted rom that i have. just in case someone was looking for one and having problems getting a working link. i'm just sharing what i have. if this thread is in the wrong section please fix it for me. this is flashable with twrp or cwm. it will take you back to what you had when you first got the phone but with root already added. 10d is the original rom that came with at&t g2, not the OTA updated version.
