I have managed to root my friend's Samsung Galaxy duos sch-i589. It is a gsm-cdma dual sim phone. But i could not find recovery specific for this phone?
Is there anyway I could backup the current rom? Can i flash a new rom through Odin? Would it give problems?

Just tried on my gf's i9305 and works like a charm...
Make sure to extract the file to .tar, and use odin 3.09 while the device is in download mode: http://download.chainfire.eu/232/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-m3-m3zh-gti9305.zip

can't find ops or pit for this phone
How exactly do you do this since I don't know much outside just rooting my phone. I would want to know how to flash (using safest way available) a CWM Recovery without bricking my phone or my mom would kill me! I would want to flash custom roms and kernels here.

Do I need to have a unlocked bootloader for this? If so how exactly do you do it. Would it factory reset my phone?

How to root a samsung galaxy core duos GT-I8262B?
a safe software that can do this for me
or detailed instructions on how to do this?
Use framaroot i tried it on my cousin's galaxy core duos and it worked fine. But a nandroid backup is always recommended before any modifications

I think
Samsung blocked every new model from rooting with Towelroot.
Framaroot also doesnt work.
Then....
Is there only solution that flash Rooted Firmware via Odin?
Or is there any another rooting app that works in Galaxy S4?
