i just go this zip from my friend
Related
I have been addicted to flashing new ROMs almost every other day. On moving to SGS4, I started searching for a flashable zip that will do an extensive wiping for me without bothering me with wipe Data, wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik etc.
I thought I will make one for myself. now that I have made and used it, I want to share it with others.
There are 4 wipe types in aroma Package:
1) MegaWipe
2) SuperWipe
3) SimpleWipe
4) Factory Reset
All 4 serve different purposes.
1. Megawipe: Use this zip to completely format your phone. It will delete everything in your phone and will bring it to bare bones. After it install any ROM for a fresh experience without any conflicts with in the frame work.It deletes the Data, Cache, System and Preload partitions of your internal memory. So Beware!
2. SuperWipe: This is a simple factory reset and you can use it to move from one ROM to another without bothering about framework conflicts. It deletes the Data Folders and Cache partitions of your internal memory.
3. Factory Reset: Use it to do a Factory Reset, which wipes your Data partition, Cache Partition and Dalvik Cache. It will delete everything on your Internal SDcard.
4. SimpleWipe: A simple wipe is as the name suggests a Simple Cache and Dalvik wipe. You can use it to clear the said partitions before updating to a newer version of your ROM. Also, You can use it before you have flash a new ROM.

Also, I have read questions on how to completely wipe the phone..the MegaWipe zip will do it for you..just have a ROM to install on the ExtSdcard when you use it.
Requirements: You need to have
1. CWM Recovery installed
2. Busybox installed

No you just need to recreate the partition using mini tool partition wizard home edition. And flash the Rom again
Before flashing the Rome do a factory reset wipe every thing from recovery except memory card. Obviously.
Hope this helpful the problem mostly cause by the SD card u use
Use SD card off good class

Remove all your partitions..
Then flash the ROM..
As the ROM is in band memory card removal won't affect the ROM..
Now take a backup of your card..
Create partition through recovery ..
Use link2sd only not anything else..
via Apache Helicopter
I don't understand
You mean delete partions flash rom copy sdcard files make partions from recovery?

1. Empty your card by copying all your contents to PC..
2. Open minitool ..
Delete all partitions as you have 3 partitions .. Make it single means 1 partition make it fat32
3. Copy the ROM in the card after partitioning ..
4. Go to recovery.
5. Flash the ROM..
6. Reboot your phone
7. Again to recovery
8. Partition SD card
9. Now boot in ROM ..
10 . install link2sd select the partition type and its done..
via Apache Helicopter
6. Wait for boot or pull out battery?

None of the recoveries support backup of sd cache partition.. As far as cache is concerned recovery doesnt mount sd ccache partition and neither it detects the cache partition.. So to say there is no recovery that takes backup of SD cache..

SD Cache will work plus that partition doesnt store any of your data so backing up or restoring wont affect your ROM or any operations in the ROM.. While restoring just make sure SD cache is present or else you wont be able to OC.. You will be able to restore your phone but wont be able to OC unless and until you dont delete SD cache while restoring..

Hi
Data partition is encrypted by Samsung and TWRP can not access it , that is why you can not factory reset your phone , in order to access the data partition you must format it ( to disable the encryption) so it can be access by TWRP , if you do not plan to use the data partition to store backups or place mods or roms to flash them from there then you do not need to do it
To format the partition go TWRP / wipe / format data ( and type yes) ..... backup, this will erase all user apps and data ( AKA factory reset)
