Hye everyone.. im new here so if i did anythin wrong.. dont be too harsh.. XD..
I've been usin an app called Auto Screen On and it worked like charm on my device.. just a simple swipe on the proxomity sensor or u can choose to use g-sensor(cant figure out the rite habbit for g sensor).. ur screen will turn on and it saves my power button like a lot..
Heres the link :

This app might be a battery sucker! With your proximity sensor always being ON and waiting for your swipe, the app would mean a constant battery drain.
Not for me i guess.. Not even in my battery consumption list.. But there's an option called wakelock to enhance sensor's efficiency that might be a possible battry drain.. Never use it though.. XD

well did you use it, and what happened? i mean you go me curious as to is the app was a battery sucker or the extra option caused a difference?!?
I did use it.. even now.. never turn it off.. from what i understand.. wakelock kinda prevent ur device from deep sleep coz some app like this one will use it to enhance efficiency..

One your battery may not be calibrated correctly. And if your wifi is causing such a drain turn it off when you are not using it.
I am on axura. Not having same issue. It could be apps you have installed

odd do yu think the wifi is causing a wake lock or something
I am not sure but I believe you can change your wifi settings to turn off faster when phone us sleeping

that just makes the 3g go on though
What i do is install One click lag fix utility and just use it's wifi timeout changer, works great
I'm having the same issue. Which RC are you using? I'm using the newest RC 2.2. I posted in the Axura support thread, so I hope to hear back soon

How can you solve it?
Don't let your battery get below 10%?
The system is designed so that when the battery gets too low it turns off a lot of stuff so that the device will last for longer to do what it was actually made for - be a phone.

Indeed often the cpu is slowed down to which would cause lag.
But yes the best thing to stop it would be to keep your phone charged

First of all, download an app called "Setxperia" , go to your cpu settings and set your governor to ondemand, and threshold to 40 (This gives responsiveness and speed comparable to higher end phones such as my galaxy s2). Second, download an app called "Deep sleep battery saver" , set the preset on any you want (I recommend strong) , set your screen on and off delay to 5 seconds. For battery discharge settings, set it to 10% , for recharge settings, press ignore. (Doing this compensates for power the low threshold uses) and there you go, done! Tested on my galaxy s2 first then sidekick 4g, methods work for both devices.

I only ever see a battery issue when I use wifi. But I might as well try this out.
So before we start,i just want to confirm that this works on all phone models and you don't even need a rooted phone to do this..
Ok let's begin!
Requirements
hone (Common sense?)
:Advanced Mobile Care
:CPU Spy (Optional)
Instructions:
☺Download Advanced Mobile Care here
☺Run and press the Menu button>Preference
☺Navigate to Task Killer and set Auto Kill to Screen Off
☺And you are done!
To check the results, leave your phone overnight and check CPU Spy the next day and you should get something like this

}
Note:This will not work if
*AMC is killed by another task killer
*Phone is charging
*WiFi is on

So last night, I turned off WiFi and location, and Google plus had a freaking 10 hour wakelock (didn't take much battery, we have a nice soc, didn't notice actually)
Why would that happen?

The weird thing is that it didn't actually affect battery life, it is just weird... (good cpu not using any battery when at lowest frequency and screen off)
I'm running stock retailEU xt1032 on Asian xt1033 dual sim (Romania), bootloader locked, not rooted, nothing. I don't even use G+...
Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk
Android os and Android system also have weird wakelocks... I don't have root, so I can't get to the root of the problem (pun not intended) because of Google's restrictions on kitkat...
G+ photo auto backup is disabled.

Perhaps Auto-Sync or Google+ notifications might be issue.
I've disabled notifications of apps those I don't use and really my battery life is amazing!

Yeah, maybe, but wifi and data were off... Gingerbread did a good job going to sleep when they were off, now it doesn't seem like it... (maybe trying to sell my data over no connection? Who knows...)
