Propably, give it a try and report back, but the voicesearch does not work asof now only manual input

Opening search works, but gives popup: network error. Also, voice search gives FC. This is on CM9 latest nightly

I changed my build.prop, then I put velvet.apk in /system/app with the right permissions, rebooted, changed build.prop back and rebooted once more.
Voila, no more network error

Exactly if everybody READ all the info that devs provide so would xda be a heavenly place to be and not only the same questions a 1000 times thru a thread

You are right but if i believe everything what a dev provide than i would NOT have this great app fully function on my STOCK BASED ROM ( not aosp ore cm9 ) so change op please.

Can't wait until all the features of this apk is working and the paranoid team implements it into their rom!

[APP][PHOTOGRAPHY][ALBUM][v1.2.243] Phorganizer, need tester!

hi guys! my app Phorganizer has systemic problems with HTC DESIRE S and others HTC devices. I wanted to ask if someone could help me figure out what errors involves the app. unfortunately the only feedback that I have are the negative comments from the market, but these are not very useful to solve the problem, also because these feedback do not explains these errors.
Isn't there someone that could download and test Phorganizer? I unfortunately do not have a HTC DESIRE S and do not know anyone that has one.

Ok, had it about ten minutes, moved around about 100 photos a couple of times, all end up where they are supposed to be, different folder names, different locations from dcim. No problem. Only thing I couldn't do was rename more than one pic at a time, hoping I understood it right and it was supposed to batch rename pics in said folder. No joy there. If I didn't have a file manager as a lot don't it is ideal for relocating pics to property folders.

hi jugg1es! thanks for answering.. do you have not problem with '(try to) open gallery' button? it works fine? no error there?
then, you can create albums properly ? i understand right??
the only problem is that you can't rename photos in batch?

frequent error is..no gallery opens when click '(try to) open gallery' (htc gallery .. no alternative one such as QuickPic and others)

No, opening app and gallery was fine, all good. Was it supposed to batch rename or did I miss something. Tried it a couple of times, restarted phone etc, moved pics again. Might be worth looking for someone on stock or sense Rom just in case

yes, I forgot to mention that the problem of the gallery is with Sense rom or stock anyway ... the fact is that you say you have no problems ... I understand that you have a CyanogenMod rom ... I know that I will install the CyanogenMod and will test it with phorganizer... thanks jugg1es for your time! :beer:

Hi, I have a stock desire s not rooted or s-offed and the button to open gallery doesn't work throws up a error everything else seems to work fine and I renamed a batch of photos no problem. I have tried to attached a screen shot of error but won't let me dont know if it is cause I am new. If you need anything else let me know. Cheers.

Yes I can do that no problem. The only time I get the error is when I click on the (TRY TO)open gallery button every thing seems to be fine.

Guys, can someone help me with syncing source for AOKP ICS/JB??

I found a few tutorials on XDA & google, but they didnt make sense to me.. Maybe someone can help me in a simpler language..

the "Add directory for repo binary to your path" you need to have terminal open and type:

I have done the stuff upto editing bashrc...I tried to sync CM9 source, but it gave me some errors, so I cancelled it.. Plus I'm getting single digit download speeds with syncing.. But thats not my concern.. My question is, how to sync device specific code?? For eg, if I want AOKP(or lets say CM10, would be easier for me) for Pico, would I have to first sync the whole AOKP/CyanogenMod JB repo, and then use the device tree?? I tried to clone sakindia's cm10 github, but that was only around 56 mb.. So i sensed some incomplete work on my end..
Could you provide a simple language tutorial?? On using github and syncing repos?? I tried the one given in the android software hacking forum... But its way too advanced for me..

Also, about the packages needed before doing anything.. are they supposed to be common, or do i need different packages for different roms??

And you can keep more than one repo synced up right?? Like cm9 n cm10 together, on the same hard drive??

Yes 1st sync the whole repo and then add the device tree of pico in it and adjust the device tree accordingly to compile properly...

No packages needed from other roms...everything you need for compiling will be there after you sync the repo...

Apps that FC on Embryo 6

Out of Milk fc on Embryo 6. Attached is the logcat.

Friendcaster also fc. Log cat attached. I even wiped everything, formatted both internal and external sdcards, reinstalled rom, install apps from playstore. Still getting fc. I also saw that some other apps and processes were getting errors. I am not that familiar with reading logs, so don't know what is normal and what isn't.

The logcat is useful..But the app is getting a NPE. I am sure the dev can fix it, he/she would be able to help you, it looks like they have not accounted for that code path.

The friendcaster also has the same error signature as above. And both are using ACRA library, I need to see why that lib is crapping out..could be the adblocking, can you turn it off and see if it runs..
EDIT: That is for SeePU app looks like and that could be because our kernel (stock) does not provide the sysfs interface
for what they are looking for..

Installing bloat did not help. Waiting to hear from app devs. Still puzzles me that it all works on the leak.

Fix permissions never hurts, but a logcat would really help.

out of milk is working with 6.1
So I just decided to install OOM, it appears to work (running 6.1 though)..either the dev has fixed it or the 6.1 changes probably cleared it up..

I cant record at all . It says recoding falied.

The dev is working on the fix. Must be 6.1. On a side note, do you need a tester?

No need to be sorry. From your pc, click on the paper clip in the reply box and navigate to the file. It will upload as an attachment.

Try clearing data and cache in the camera app, fix permissions. If that doesn't help, talk to dev. Also you can take a look at this. http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/141073-learn-logcat-like-pro.html

Edit - For those having trouble with Carbonite, the new Embryo 6.1 patch/upgrade seems to fix it. Was getting FC immediately on open with 6.0, now working perfectly in 6.1

HTC one 4.3.1
It worked before with 4.3 and 4.2.2
The free version of the apk is installed without problems but not the pro version one..

i've tracked the class, its weird, i could find nothing
as you can see here, the PackageInstaller.java, this is the line u got at log

CTRL+F: INSTALL,
you will get all INSTALL_XX constants and none of them is -24
so i think its something like unhandled exception or error that maybe...

i think its a bug in the installer

I don't think I can solve the problem, I will search for an alternative to this app on play store
