Samsung i9020 hangs on google logo pls help flashed with odin but still same
Sounds like you have a bad bootloader.
Try this:
download a stock OTA package for your model
1) Extract bootloader.img, boot.img and recovery.img from the OTA zip, and place it in your fastboot folder
2) Run fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
3) Run fastboot flash boot boot.img
Info provided by thegtfusion from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447040
If that does not work you would need the *.PIT and reflash from ODIN, same thing I'm looking for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2308695

Well I need to send in the Chacha because of some Hardware issues, so I'd like to restore the original ROM.
What's the easiest way getting it back (maybe with the option not having to root it again afterwards, or restoring the Clockwork-Backup)?
The best way is to download RUU, extract from it rom.zip and from that zip extract system.img, boot.img and recovery.img. Then flash those three via fastboot using these commands:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
And reboot your phone and you will have stock rom with stock recovery on it. Then you can use OTA update if available.
3 days ago I got a lollipop ota update to my fe170cg. Everything is cool except rooting. I want to root this device like a used to do at kitkat.
But I couldn't find any solution to root this device. I also tried VampireFo's tethered CWM recovery but no luck with that it is not even flashing CWM because of the tigth locked asus lollipop bootloader. I also tried to downgrade to kitkat because of the lollipop recovery But I couldn't downgrade. Now I have no more chance to root this device. And no chance to downgrade to kitkat as well. So I decided to ask professionals like you. I really need help!!. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks from now for any response.

Hey there!
Not sure this will help you or not..for me it just doing good. Try use fastboot
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
Then you need you flash the a stock firmware. UL-K012-WW-11.2.3.33-user
Download the appropriate firmware from Asus website. There are three .img files in the firmware zip file (fastboot.img, boot.img, splashscreen.img).
Copy all these three files to the extracted folder. Now type the following command in the command window one by one:
fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash splashscreen splashscreen.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then you get your droidboot back.

Hallo everybody.
Summarizing: with a new, clear Huawei Mate 8 (HUAWEI NXT-L29) I unlocked the bootloader (default Huawei procedure).
I rooted the smartphone using SuperSU and all's perfect - my apps require and gain root permissions.
No, a new OTA upload comes into being.
I try to install: the smartphone reboots and remains stuck on "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" or whatever...
I try to "fastboot oem lock ******" (the code I obtained unlocking), but it tells me "FAILED (remote: root type is risk)".
I try to reflash the stock ROM (to do a hard reset), either by the "dload" or the "*#*#2846579#*#*" method: it stays stuck on "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" or whatever...
Any advice? Where am I wrong? And what to do next to update the ROM?
Thank you!
Any suggestion? Come on, guys, you're the best...
First thing to flash OTA - stock recovery. Flash it from fast boot and try again.
Can you tell me step by step? And where to download files?
Download your Firmware frome here

Unpack it.
Download Huawei Extractor
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
Open Huawei Ectract and open the UPDATE.APP from your unpacked Update.zip and extract the RECOVERY.img
Reboot into Bootloader
Flash the Recovery.img via Fastboot (fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img)
Reboot
You on Stock Recovery and can install the Updates from the first Link

I'm sorry, your way doesn't work.
The RECOVERY.img is flashed good, but when I try to install the UPDATE.APP, it remains stuck on "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted".
this is normal with unlocked Bootloader.
You can extract SYSTEM.img,CUST.img,BOOT.img and flash via Fastboot
Reboot into Bootloader and flash this 3 img files with this command
fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
fastboot flash cust CUST.img
fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img
and Factory Reset
but this message at startup is normal
"Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted"
How to update your phone even after unlocking your phone without losing data in Lenovo K8 Plus?
There is a pretty simple trick for those who wanted to update to latest firmware & already unlocked their device.
First unroot & if you flashed xposed then xposed uninstaller too then use fastboot to flash stock recovery, boot & system & then do the OTA update & Voila your data will not loose and you just get update.
To do it download stock firmware click below

Password:-
[email protected] Developers
Extract this firmware.
Then you'll find several files there just copy system.img, boot.img, recovery.img to adb folder and then put your phone in fastboot mode and then type:-
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After this power it up download the update and install it.
Note:- This trick is only tried on manning as of now. But I'm pretty sure that it'll work on marino too.
