[Q] verizon htc 8x with ntt docomo sim not work - Windows Phone 8x by HTC

am using htc 8x by sim of ntt docomo.
I can perform dispatch and arrival of a telephone normally.
If the web page is seen by Internet Explorer,
I am no longer displayed suddenly.
I can display, if a power supply is reswitched on.
Those who are using the employee limited model of verizon by sim of ntt docomo,
It is said that I could use it normally when renewal of a telephone was performed the other day.
Is there any update which corrects this fault?

Help: Hong Kong Touch Pro in Canada (Cityfone/Roger Wireless)

Cutting it short:
Got the Touch Pro for free from Hong Kong, brand new. Sim unlock (as indicated on HTC distributor website w/ IMEI and S/N confirmation).
Flashed to ROM version: 5.07.832.3 Radio version: 1.11.25.01, all from HTC website.
Using the phone in Canada, service provider is Cityfone (the phone indicates Rogers Wireless). I don't have a 3G plan so I'm using regular GSM network.
Problem: Everything on the phone works EXCEPT the phone function itself. Everytime I make a call or receive a call I can only talk for 5 seconds, then the phone mutes automatically.
Tried setting to GSM only and shutting down HSDPA, it just doesn't help at all.
Can anyone identify the problem for me? I really have no clue since I'm new to this pocket pc tech. If HK 3G phone simply doesn't support GSM network in Canada then I don't even do anything with it. If it's just hardware problem then I'd just send it back to HK for replacement.
Any input? Help please...Bump
I will tell you it definitely supports the GSM network in Canada but not the 3G network. I don't know the problem though.

Hmmm, the previous poster is correct, Rogers is the only GSM provider here in Canada. And they do support 3G and H data connections, but you need a North American version (e.g. the FUZE) to use the H speeds) It should be fine for voice, tho. I've never heard of Cityfone, but it may be a subdivision of Rogers or leasing the line time.
Where did you get the SIM card for your phone? It sounds like Rogers is not recognizing the card and is cutting you off.
I know for a fact that unlocked Raphael's will work fine on Rogers, since that's what I'm using, and I've used a lot of other GSM phones on the Rogers network with no problems at all.
If you really want to keep the phone, I would suggest checking with Cityfone re: whose network are they using, or set up a Rogers Wireless account.

I've been using the same sim card for a very long time without problem, on celphones that were purchased locally or other tri-band GSM phones in Hong Kong. I swap the sim card back to my Sony Ericsson W800i and the voice call is fine.
I used my mom's sim card (from Rogers Wireless) and same problem occurs on the Touch Pro--5 secs and the call mutes.
I'm just not sure if it is hardware problem on the Touch Pro or if there is compatability issue with the network (which I doubt since I can talk for 5 secs before the phone mutes...). Any possible way to identify what the real problem is?

[Q] LTE Network Lock

Now I have a question, and I trust everyone on XDA more than I do random phone store employees (sorry to those members of XDA that are employees of phone companies). I recently sold my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket LTE to my father in law. It was originally for the Rogers Wireless network here in Canada. The father in law unlocked the phone and is currently using it on the MTS network over HSPA+ 4G.
At the end of August MTS launched LTE and currently they state that network is locked to only two devices, the Sony Xperia Ion and a LTE Rocket Stick. MTS even carries the iPhone5 yet they said it won't be on their LTE network till sometime next month when they unlock LTE to all devices using their LTE Sim Cards.
I want to know if and how this is even possible? If the father in law already has a LTE ready phone plan, shouldn't him getting a LTE Sim Card allow him to access the LTE network? I'm confused how a company can lock something like LTE to certain devices.

[Q] no network on verizon xt912, using in india

hi all,
i have a xt912 - original carrier - Verizon USA. I am trying to use it in India. I have tried both CDMA as well as GSM sims in it. When CDMA inserted, it shows no sim(sim is shown as crossed in network notification area). When i insert GSM it tries to search network and restarts repeatedly until it shows No Sim. Please confirm if this error is due to subsidy lock on this phone. Should i buy an unlock code?

Help with using unlocked phone (OnePlus) - no service

Location: Japan
Carrier: au KDDI and/or Docomo
Phone: OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition (T-Mobile unlocked)
My phone that I bought through au KDDI broke and I wanted to get a new phone anyway, but I wanted to venture into the world of unlocked phones for the first time. I know there is complications with getting phones that are unlocked and compatible with carriers with regards to CDMA/GSM, frequency bands, etc. When I checked info on frequency bands for the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren I bought it seemed like it would work but it didn't. Still doesn't work with a new carrier who seemed even more likely to work.
Timeline:
1. Using au KDDI
2. Buy this OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition (T-Mobile unlocked)
3. Put in au KDDI sim card. "Emergency Calls only/No service"
4. Manually make APN settings. Still doesn't work
5. More research looks like au KDDI is maybe CDMA, and that phone only works on GSM. Docomo is GSM and many reports of Docomo being usable with many unlocked phones.
6. Buy this prepaid sim card that apparently uses Docomo's network as a test, per advice of anonymous online user.
7. Put in prepaid sim card; works immediately without any APN shenanigans or anything.
8. Go to Docomo, sign a contract with them and get a sim card.
9. Put in new Docomo sim card, and doesn't work ("Emergency Calls only/no service") regardless of which APN settings I select or make.
I give all the links to the exact products and companies I'm using in case someone can find the compatibility issue. Is there something I can do or do I just give up and return this OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren? I'd like to maintain my contact with both companies and try different unlocked phones until I find a phone/carrier combination that works, but do you think any unlocked phone would work? Am I stuck using the phones they carry? Also why would the prepaid card on Docomo's network work but not their actual sim card?
