[Q] HTC Media Link HD "Internal Error / Update Failed" - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
I have bought a HTC Medialink HD to show my Familie my Holiday Pictures.
The Firmware is: 5.19.100....
I read a lot if articles before evertime I read that it will be possible to present your stuf via dlna from all your devices.
Today I connected everthing and went on 192.168.3.1 and try to setup my WIFI but no way to do so, i get everytime an internal error,
I have used 2 different AP but no way.
Im also not able to use the internal AP from the MediaLink if i try to show some videos with the Wi-Fi Media App there is no device listed.
I'm not sure but it feels that my device is Broken....
I have no HTC device to test the 3 finger wipe but I'm more or less sure that this will also not work.
Is there a way to upgrade the firmware via USB?
Or did I make something wrong?
BR

Same situation here also. I am able to connect my HTC phone using 3-finger guesture; however, whenever I try to connect my Nexus7, I get stuck at the point where I need to choose the Wi-Fi on 192.168.3.1. My Wi-Fi connection is not on the list. Even if I try to enter manually and click on "Save", it always says "Update Failed/Internal Error".
Is there any setting that must be done to the router?

Hom, seems like an Firmware Error. Any Idea were/how to get the old firmware or hack this crap...

Honestly, I guess the best would be to quickly sell this thing and get a Chromecast as soon as it is in stock again.
Will do mostly the same and is cross-compatible with your future android phone and your Chrome browser.
Plus, it's very cheap ^^

Not yet, but I guess the chances that google will sell it in Germany or at least in AT/CH are not bad.
There is even a landing page on google play DE for it:
https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=chromecast

Hope so

I picked one up from AT&T store at a very affordable price but encountered the same "internal error" issue when I tried to connect this little box with my home Wi-Fi network. After a few days of researching, a forum in Taiwan provided some workaround and here is the steps to connect your HTC Media Link HD (HMLH) to your Wi-Fi network and enjoy DLNA support as well.
1. Reset (HMLH) by pressing the reset button for more than 5 seconds
2. You must grab a phone with Sense 4.0+ (will not work with Sense 5+ or above)
3. Connect your phone with Sense 4.0+ to your local network first
4. Perform the 3 finger swipe up action from your sense page
5. Complete the set up process
6. Wait for 5 minutes then connect to the Wi-Fi network that you named during the set up process from another laptop with network password 1234567890HTC
7. Open browser and type 192.168.3.1
8. HMLH automatically picks up your home network without entering the security key
9. Exit the mirroring mode from your Sense 4+ phone by swiping 3 fingers down
10. The TV screen should show that HMLH is connected to your Wi-Fi network

ok, so here is another easy solution for the internal error with the HTC Media Link HD (DG H300)
1. Firmware version on device after update: 5.52.103.1
2. Connect device to TV
3. Press reset button on device for 5 seconds to reset
4. After reset device will show Default Name on TV screen
5. Turn on WPS config on your router, either through Router admin UI or by manually pressing WPS button (WPS = Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
6. Press once the reset button on device (you need to do this within 2minutes of pressing the WPS button on router)
7. Device will automatically go to configure screen, progress bar will indicate configuration
8. The medialink HD device will now be connected to your WiFi network through your router

What rom are you using, and what version of WiFi Tether?
Also can you be more descriptive of the problem, are you unable to see the wifi broadcasted from your phone on your computer?
PS i have seem WiFi tether be a bit buggy on some roms, or maybe its just particular versions of wifi tether that cause it, to where you have to go into, and then back out of airplane mode after you start the tether. Have you tried this?

you can try downloading this version and installing it
http://android-wifi-tether.googlecode.com/files/wireless_tether_2_0_2.apk
I still don't understand. Can you connect to the phone with a computer?
1. You can either connect to the phone over wifi, but don't have internet on your PC
2. You can see the phone as a wireless network, but trying to connect fails
or
3. You can't see the phone as a wireless network.
I know your typing on your phone, but it would make it easier for us to help you if you could give more specific information and used punctuation. I don't expect perfect grammar, but atleast use some periods every now and then. Your sentences run together and I cant tell what your saying. No hard feelings though
EDIT, after re-reading your posts a few times, I think your saying you can connect over WiFI to your phone after you enable Wireless tether, and it all seems good, but you don't have an internet connection on your PC; the wireless tether app never shows any data transferred either direction? If this is the case, open the app, start the tether, connect to it with your PC. Then, on your phone, press menu, then select "Show log", and lets see what it says.
Good luck =)

ok so i tryed and the log said it was all done but it wonk work at all. so heres the deal ill try to explain it again. ok so i open it up (on every rom with it PRE installed so it should deff work) it says installing files for it. when its done i press the green button, it asks for super user and i press always allow. then at bottom were it should say the down is 0.~ and up is 0.~ it stays at o.o and in my taskbar were it should show im using 3g it doesnt at all. so its like the app cant find the 3g im using or something of that sort. its hard to explain this since i dont understand why it wont work. lastly is there a Cretan pri or anything like that i need to run this?
Looking at the task bar in the first post it shows you are connected to 3g, going from left to right in the pic you attached I see:
Battery(or memory?) % indicator, Wifi Tether icon,Location indicator icon(blue circle with crosshairs), 3g Icon that looks like this (3G), Signal strength bars(2), circular orange battery indicator( only partially visible because battery is low, and the clock.
Did you try the newer version linked to above?
Try the newer version if you haven't, also..
open wifi tether, press menu, go to setup...
be sure bluetooth is not checked,
turn off wifi-Encryption
try changing the SSID
try changing the channel
Disable access control
Does your computer say it connected successfully?
Lets be sure its actually connecting properly. We'll be sure its getting its IPaddress from the phone, and not trying to use default windows ip or no IP
From your computer, go to start->run then type in CMD, press enter.
from there, type ipconfig, and see what your IPv4 Address is.
You may want to uninstall the app completely either through the phone or using adb. Then download this one http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/detail?name=wireless_tether_1_60_htc.apk&can=2&q=HTC+Donut and move it to your tools folder in the sdk.
From command prompt type
Code:
adb install wireless_tether_1_60_htc.apk
Also once you start the wireless tether app can you see it from your computer. You might want to make sure you are choosing the correct network. Some of the wireless apps have AndroidTether as the network name and some have G1Tether. Once you click the correct one you should feel your phone vibrate after it is connected, somewhere between 5 and 20 seconds and in your drop down menu it should say it is connected.

Uninstall that version, put 1.6 back on. Turn tether on, then connect from your computer. Then back on your phone, press menu, then access control, and when you see a computer info pop up in that menu, click the check box beside it for good measure. Then give it about a minute or so, then try to connect. See, it may not be the app itself. Go into network connections on your computer, right click the wireless network adapter icon, go to properties. Where it says ip v4, click that and go to settings I believe, then click automatically get ip address. Press ok. Then disconnect from your hero tether and re tether.

Ok, So I was having this same exact problem and still from time to time do. I can connect my pc to it and it is connected but everytime I open the web browser its say the page cannot load, please check internet connection and try again. So after some searching around I found that this worked for me.
1.) start Wifi tether
2.) connect pc to new wifi network (default name "AndroidTether")
3.) on phone while in wifi tether (dont back out or close app) push and hold the phone off button to bring up the power menu
4.) Select Mobile network to disable the connection
5.) repeat last 2 steps but this time to re-enable the connection.
6.) close browser on computer and open back up... and...
Presto!!! internet connected and working great.
Dont know why it does this but it is a good work around.
Hope it helps and works for you as it did for me.

it sounds like you forgot a couple of steps... after it asked you for SU permissions and you clicked always allow, it should then be connected..
BUT you have to click menu on your phone, then click access control. make sure your phone says "Access-Control is enabled." if not click "Enable"
Now don't back out on ur phone or anything.. leave it with this menu up..
On you computer pull up your wireless networks, and if your using version 1.60 pre3 then you will see G1Tether. Click to connect.. (make sure ur not connected to any other network at the time and if u are disconnect that first)
once you have connected to G1Tether on your computer, wait about 30 secs and on your phone, in that same menu that u left open, under Access-Control is enabled, it should now have a dialogue that says Connected/Authorized Clients and should have you credentials. MAKE SURE u tick the box. Then click on menu from ur phone and click Apply Settings.
after that u should be connected...

Got my GT7+ yesterday and have a couple questions. Brightness? WiFi?

Edit: This is the Galaxy Tab 7 Plus 4G w/ TMobile...
So far I am loving it. I have had a plethora of Android tablets, including the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (until yesterday), and the original 7" Tab. Here is an issue I have not run into thus far...
Issue 1: I like my brightness settings to be %100 all the time. I always (almost) have a power cable with me, so I'm not worried about the drain. I have the auto setting turned off as to keep it from adjusting on it's own. However, everytime I open the status menu with the brightness slider, it is down to about %90-%95. I can't get it to stay on full. Also, and even more annoying, every time I open the browser, the brightness drops to like %30'ish and I have to open the status menu and slide it back up. The browser is where I REALLY need the full brightness the most, and it's the biggest issue.
I noticed this out of the box, adjusted settings, nogo, so I factory reset, and same issue. This is leading me to believe this is just a setting or something I am missing. Any ideas?
Issue 2 (THE BIG ONE): This Tab 7+ can't see my work wifi. It connects to my wifi at home just fine (did last night at least), which is also WPA, but it doesn't even see the one at work. It acts like it isn't there. In fact, and this is probably important, it is not seeing any networks up here, and there are at least 10-15 that should be visible from my location in the building (all but a couple from other companies). My G2x (Android 2.3) is connected to my work wifi just fine, and it sees all the others around us, the the Tab 7+ right next to it sees none. I also turned on the wifi router on my phone, it will not see that one either. I've verified the wireless is enabled, as well as turning it off and on multiple times and many reboots, nogo... I need it to hit the wifi at work and home so it isn't sucking my 4G data, so this is a big issue for me.Any ideas? I'm at a loss...
Also, to answer before it's asked: Nope, it's not rooted. I may do this at some point (as I do most of my devices), but for the moment I want to leave it stock and not mess with it. These issues seem like they should be resolved/nonexistant in the stock ROM, so I shouldn't have to root to fix them. Please tell me if this is incorrect...
Thanks for any help, sorry for the long post...
(pardon typos, I'm at work and multitasking, no time to proofread)
on the brightness broweer tip. use a different browser. its a known issue that the stock browser automaticaly dims the screen.

Thank you... You're right, it doesn't happen in Dolphin, however I am one of those weird people the really prefers the stock browser...
The biggest issue is the wifi not showing up. I am updating that issue with more info now...
what channel is the wireless network on? i had a similar problem on my windows laptop, it cannot see the wifi.. turned out that my wireless card(the driver actually) cannot see any wireless network beyond channel 12.. who knows you're having the same problem, might worth checking.

Ours is on 6... Thanks though
for me it was the opposite, it could see my home wifi, but not my work.
only was to solve it was to setup a static ip at work for the GT7...
I called samsung, they said its a problem with some routers. No eta on fix other than static IP.

Just to chime in - I also have the same problem connecting to my work wireless network but I think because it uses a SEPARATE authentication scheme.
The way my office WLAN work is like this:
1). Connect to the WLAN with SSID "Office", no encryption password required
2). Once the Tab is connected, it WILL receive an IP address
3). Open up a browser (Dolphin, etc.) and try to go to any website (Google, etc.)
4). Instead of going to the website I typed in in no. 3, an authentication page will show up
5). I need to enter my Windows AD account and password
6). If its successful, then I can start browsing the Internet (but not going to the Internal network, that requires VPN access).
Step 3 is where the Tab FAILED to do so. It just doesn't want to get redirected to the authentication page.

Yep, same way for me at work. OP did you try to manually add the wireless info vs letting the tab "find" the access point?

Also, here is a strange thing. About 2 hours ago it notified me there were wireless networks in range, and then showed me 2 random networks from another office. Suddenly, it saw nothing again. Then about 5 minutes ago, while I was in the bathroom ( ), it suddenly showed me ALL of the surrounding networks. Yay! I tried to connect to the one I use, it took my password, but never even attempted to connect. Then, they are gone. Now it doesn't see them.
What. The. Fuuuudge.

[Q] Wifi Connection Problems with Cisco AP and Vouchers

Hey there!
I used the help but I didn't find anything related to this issue.
In our company we use now Cisco Access Points and also a guest-wifi. In this gust wifi I only can create Vouchers.
If I connect to this Wifi, it instantly gives me the opportunity to enter further Login-Details (How it should be).
But the Screen stays empty, no matter how long I wait. I have only the opportunity to keep the Details as they are, connect to the Browser-Login page and enter it manually.
As far as good. But after a short time (a few minutes) the Notification about entering further login-details appears again and my Wifi shows the "!" sign because I'm not allowed or something.
After pressing the option to keep Settings as they are I am allowed for a few minutes again. After that it repeats for forever.
Im using the Nexus 5 with no extra customization and Android 5.
Do you have any idea how to solve this?
Thanks!
Edit:
After some research I found out that this could be because of the Android 5. In the Version 5.0.1 it should be solved - I will give update
It seems that the Adnroid 5.0.1 Update did resolve the problem.
Now when im pressing the button which says, I want to use the Settings as they are and logging in on the browser it just works.

[Guide] Connect to public wifi hospots with captivity portal from Android Wear Watch.

First of all, if your watch doesn't have wifi then this guide is not for you. This guide while it tries to go more into details, it requires some previous knowledge of using console commands.
According to the official google website. [1]
Not all watches have a Wi-Fi feature. Try using the directions below to connect to Wi-Fi. If you don’t see Wi-Fi settings under “Settings” on your watch, Wi-Fi is not available on your watch.
When your watch uses Wi-Fi, the “Open on phone” feature is disabled.
Your watch can’t connect to Wi-Fi networks that use captive portals, which are web pages you have to visit before connecting.

There is a way to bypath that limitation by installing Android version of firefox on your watch. However, its not enough to just install firefox. You also need to change lcd density parameter to make UI fit on the tiny screen AND you'll need some sort of keyboard to be able to input characters into firefox.
You will need to download tools to be able to connect to your watch.
1. [TOOL] [WINDOWS] ADB, Fastboot and Drivers - 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.2
Your watch needs to have USB debugging enabled. Follow this youtube guide. Since UI is the same on all android wear, this method will work on all android wear watches. Note that the person in the video has a Mac. So the console will be different. On windows you just fire up the cmd. You can ignore the Android SDK and Eclipse stuff she is doing as we don't need it for this.
2.
This tool has a list of supported devices, but since we are going to be using only one function of it, you can probably get away with picking the wrong android wear watch from the list.
3. Download [TOOL] WinDroid Universal Android Toolkit v2.4 | Unlock | Root | Flash | 90+ Devices
From previous steps make sure your watch is connected and the WinDroid tool is able to detect it. If all is good download APKs and then in WinDroid go to "Commands" tab and click on "Install App". Find your firefox and minuum wear apk files. Install both of them by installing one at a time.
Once apks are installed you need to open cmd terminal and type some commands:
To make keyboard work you need to type
Code:
adb shell ime enable com.whirlscape.minuum/.MinuumKeyboardService
And then
Code:
adb shell ime set com.whirlscape.minuum/.MinuumKeyboardService
To make firefox UI more usable, we need to change the LCD density.
In the same terminal first type
Code:
adb shell
then
Code:
cat /system/build.prop | grep "lcd"
You will then see something like this on the screen
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=280
Write down this value and keep it save in case you want to restore to normal LCD density.
To change density type
Code:
wm density 200
It will immediately change LCD density on your watch. Everything will become smaller. I recommend that you enable "Large Font" in Accessibility menu on your watch to make the font size bigger.
Now try connecting to the public wifi on your smartphone. Wait a few seconds for information to sync with your watch. Disable bluetooth on your phone and your watch should automatically try to connect to wifi hotspot. Alternatively you can select wifi AP from a list of wifi on your watch without needing to use your phone. You will still need to disable bluetooth on your phone though.
Finally, fire up firefox on your watch, try to go to any website. The captivity webpage of your public wifi will show up and just press accept/I agree/etc as you normally would. After that you can close firefox by swiping to the right. I recommend you install task manager for android wear to be able kill firefox from memory. And try not to leave firefox or wifi open for too long as it will drain your battery really quick.
Now sit back and enjoy your wifi sync over the public wifi hotspot connection.
This lets your watch and phone to automatically stay synced at any distance over the Internet.

Here how it all looks on my watch.
Sadly video doesn't start, it just keeps on buffering.
That's a great effort. I'm happy to report that we now have a much easier option by using wear browser.
I posted my experience with it here.

Yea, it does seems easier. However, I am thinking of writing a tiny program that would attempt to automatically click on "I accept/Connect" button. Not sure how to approach this problem quite yet, as there are so many different captive portals and some might have multiple checkboxes and buttons. Also, a program that would allow you to connect to wifi AP with a password without phone.(Its possible with es filemanager)
If you connect to an open wifi on your phone then your watch auto connects, but you use a VPN on your phone for security the watch is still using everything un encrypted right?

It only connects to wifi when bluetooth is turned off or your phone is our of range. But, yes, you are correct. VPN will only encrypt phone's traffic since the watch will directly connect to wifi AP. So, you would need to run a separate VPN client on the watch.(which might be not possible atm)
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am wondering if this still works with the very latest version of Android Wear 2?
I have a Huawei watch 2 and need to get onto a WiFi network (at work) that requires you to hit a confirm button on a webpage the first time you login. Can't seem to get it working on the watch.

The last time I tried it on Huawei watch 2, when I still had it it also didn't work. They probably removed some system libraries in wear 2.0 and broke all of those apps.

How to connect to WiFi network?!

hey guys, so I've been playing around with my new hw2 and I have noticed a somewhat issue,
the watch seems to be using my phones connection to wifi through bt, because I turn off watch's wifi and it still has internet connection, but when I turn off phone's(or watch's) bt, theres not internet on the watch any more
my home wifi network has wpa2 password and it is saved on my phone and also it shows up in saves networks list in the watch, but when I turn off watch's bt and turn wifi on, it wont connect to the network! what should I do if I dont want to use my phone and want to use the watch directly to connect to home wifi network?!
edit: when I tap the add network option, my home network wont show up! is it a defective unit?!!!
When you connect the watch to wifi, you should get the option to connect through phone to the wifi. When it connects, you should be good.
The problem is the network does not show up so I cant connect! It does not find it!
That is weird. It should show. If this persists, wipe the device. If you still have the issue then it may be a defective unit.
guys did you update to the latest version? if nobody else has this issue Im gonna send it for warranty...
also someone please tell me how long does it take for the gps to locate position without phone??
If you are using any app besides Google fit, less than 6-7 seconds. Google fit defaults to phone unless phone is not close out disconnected. In that case still 6-7 seconds.

Im actually talking about google maps, assuming that I am connected to the phone for internet but want to use watches gps instead of phone, because in my test I waited for about 10mins and google maps was still searching for location...
Hi,
i have the 4G version.
when i'm going running (without mobile at all as i don't have mobile^^), watch ask me to activate position i not already tick in prefs, and i get GPS working under 10s, max 15s when outside.
Therefore, i haven't test on google maps, if i have time il will test and tell you.

Hi,
ok, i have install google maps on my Huawei watch 2. here are my results :
A > my watch (with simcard) is pair with a phone with no SIMcard at all. This phone have bluetooth OFF and wifi OFF . So phone is not connected to internet.
B > first test : with A and watch with no BT, no wifi and no data (SIM not activated) : google maps start, GPS icon is searching localisation but no maps is visible, about ten or 15 s, gps icon become a compass, so in my opinion, GPS find my location, but as i have no internet connection, google map cannot show the maps, so the screen is empty (i don't know if i can predownload map in watch in local)
C > second test : with A and watch without BT, without wifi but WITH data (SIM activated) : google map start, GPS icon searching for 10s, maps is visible, my location is ok and the position circle become smaller and smaller as GPS refine. BUT, when i select if theres a POI, he ask me to connect the phone AND if i select a point to go, he ask me to connect the phone .
D > third test : with A except only modify WITH wifi ON + watch without BT, without wifi but with data : exactly the same of C results : so data LTE cannot connect to phone wifi (seems logical)
E > test four : with A except only modify WITH bluetooth ON + watch WITH bluetooth ON, no wifi with data : same results as C, with the difference that google maps don't tell me to connect the phone but say that it cannot find any POI, and cannot calculate the path to destination (so even with data on watch + bluetooth on phone, nothing is possible except finding localisation)
F > last test : with A except bluetooth ON and Wifi ON on phone : and watch data ON and bluetooth ON : gps ok, localisation ok, POI are finding (by phone and sending to the watch i suppose) and when i pick a dest on watch and ask for path, google maps start on phone and calculate the path, wich appear on my watch then (i precise that at this moment, google maps on the phone tell me tha my watch have to activate it's own GPS during travel).
G > if i exit BT, wifi on the phone, the watch immediatly lost the already path... so it isn't store on the watch ...
FINALLY :
> We can say that the GPS is working well on my watch (even with no map, the compass replacing GPS icon is the witness) : so kianush you can verify this point on your's.
> we can say that google maps cannot work standalone on the watch : sim data only can show maps and watch gps localize position and show it, but NO POI or destination way ! If you want that, you have to connect watch to your phone, wiitch have to be connect to internet by wifi... and when you move, you have to get your phone too, if not, the path of destination is not in the watch.
I can tell that, google maps, is not a good apk to verify if your GPS is ok or not... the problem may be google map in fact
For me, who use SIM card in watch only and never use smartphone, googlemap is not usable at this time, because even i i get my phone with me, it will lost internet wifi connection and as it do not have simcard, it will never connect to internet for POI and Calculate path.
Hope this help you !
POST SCRIPTUM:
> i have try your configuration : i disable simcard connection in my watch and only activate bluetooth.
On my phone, i have activate bluetooth and wifi (no GPS activated on phone).
In this configuration, the watch gps find my position, so as GPS is OFF on phone, we can know that's the GPS watch is ok.
but notice that the watch tell me to connect to phone for POI or path !!!!!!!!!!! In fact, you have to connect with androidwear (via bluetooth) on phone, and then all work.
wow man! you really put your time on this, thank you very much! yeah I already returned my watch as I suspected the gps was not working, after 10 minutes of running google maps gps icon was still grey and there was a text saying still finding location! But I wonder how it could track my steps though!
also in what position were you testing? I was testing it at home at night (under the roof)
---------------
edit:
today they called me and sent a video to me showing that the wifi is working with no issue after factory reset, that's strange because I already did disconnect and reset the watch to see if it fixes the problem! could it be because of the phone that I paired it with? it's a xperia x compact with 7.1.1.
anyway they will send back the watch and I will try to test it again and see if its ok...
Im still not able to see any wifi ssid on my watch and also saw some other people on the internet talking about this issue in AW2
if anyone knows a fix, Im all ears...
Update:
So I today a was able to make sure my watch is not defective and its somehow a software bug or problem!
I disconnected and reset the watch to factory setting
then cleared the data and cache of google play services - android wear and google play store apps
Then after the watch started up, before pairing I long pressed the power button and went to wifi option there and in "add network" i was finally able to see my router and other available networks in the area!
Then i cleard all saved wifi networks on the phone (just in case it was related) and pair the watch to my phone,
and bang! Right after i confirmed the bluetooth code and it was showing that its looking for update, i went to settings the same way and I was not able to see any networks anymore!
So I decided to do these steps again and factory reset my watch and pair it to another phone(mine is xperia x compact with 7.1.1 and the other phone is galaxy j3 5.1.1), and still before pairing it showed and the moment I paired it in amdroid wear app, watch's wifi wont work anymore!
I also noticed that if instead of selecting the watch in android wear app, i just connect my phone bluetooth to it from phone settings, the phone will connect and the watch wifi is still working, but the watch wont pair and it keeps stuck at "searching for updates" screen.
So the might be something wrong with android wear app, or something else!!!
Please guys if you know how to fix this help me out
My watch is bt version leo-bx9 with build number N7176C
If there is a newer rom please give me instructions to flash, but I dont thinks its related to the rom...
WiFi issue fixed
Hi friends, I had this problems until last week, I connect watch to my phone and connect phone to WiFi for having internet, I ran VPN on the phone and go to watch and check for updates, I found the update via VPN, before I use VPN I didn't able to check update.

Please help me too as I am having this problem, so what country or vpn did you use? Did you have to format your watch ?
Ok this is weird and I dont know why this happens but if I reset my watch and connect to my ipad using wear os. I strangely get my ability to view wifi and have wifi on my watch for the first time. Now some things did change like the tutorial looked different on my watch.
Ok so I tried to reset and reconnect back to my watch and it seems that it wont work soooo. I guess we have cleared out that its not a hardware problem meaning not defective but a bug as stated. So pretty much our phones are doing something that the watch then wont accept wifi or somthing.
Now if i cant get it to work i guess I will have to sideload or using usb adb to put something that allows two devices to be connected to the watch.
