Is anyone else having issues with the bluetooth music coonection? It worked several weeks ago with my Verizon 8x, but since the update I gave had terrible music streaming to my Ford Sync. Any known solutions? It is just my phone, my wife's htc mytouch 4g works perfectly.

Hi all,
I am having an issue with my Skyrocket streaming bluetooth to my toyota prius and am wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar (I have been searching the forums with no success).
When I was on Gingerbread, the bluetooth audio streaming to my Toyota Prius was working fine. I recently upgraded to the leaked ICS builds and for the first week it seemed to be ok but I am now experiencing (for lack of a better way to describe it) intermitent bluetooth audio. About 90% of the time when I play music in my car it sounds like there are long pauses/drop outs (If I continually do pause/play it sometimes works). The really strange thing is that it initially worked fine and even now if I try my motorola headset it works perfectly. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any suggestions on how to fix it? I have tried multiple versions of the ICS ROMS and the issue seems to be persistant across all of them.
Skyrocket currently running the NexusMod rom (having tried many more) and have tried to clear the cache (both of them), fix the permissions, and superwipe/reinstall the various roms.
Thanks,
Dave
Hey all,
I'm having a problem with my phone's bluetooth audio.
Background:
Verizon HTC One M8, s-off, TWRP recovery, rooted. Stock 4.4.4
Bluetooth headset is an Interphone F5MC with FM receiver built in (motorcyle helmet bluetooth and intercom)
Problem:
Until recently, everything worked perfectly. Went to go for a ride on a sunny December Las Vegas day, and the FM receiver was working until I connected my phone via bluetooth. With the BT phone audio setting ON, neither the FM receiver nor BT media audio work. With BT phone audio setting OFF, both work flawlessly. Everything works flawlessly when connecting to my girlfriend's stock to the bone Galaxy S5. Sent the headset in for repair, Interphone sent it back saying it passed all diagnostics. I'm literally at rope's end here. Searched for solutions for a full week now. Reinstalled this rom 3 times to no avail. Help is appreciated.
I have a 2014 Toyota tundra. Before the update my Bluetooth was working perfect. Since the update, anytime I turn on the Bluetooth, it reboots/crashes my stereo. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem?
Sam
I have a Toyota Avalon and I am also having bluetooth issues since the 6.0.1 update. I have to power down the stereo and bluetooth on the phone to get the Media audio portion of bluetooth to connect. The Call audio connects fine automatically.
I called Verizon and they have has some reports of issues with this. They documented the issue and transferred me Samsung with no resolution.
Marshmallow on all the Nexus devices appear to have issues with Bluetooth according to these sites, could the issue be a marshmallow wide issue?

I just wanted to chime in. I have a 2004 Corolla and I don't have native Bluetooth audio connectivity so I use: FlexSMART X3 Bluetooth FM Transmitter. So far so good since the update to Marshallow and use with my LG HBS 750 Bluetooth Headset is ok as well. Sorry, sort of not really the same issue, but its working ok since Monday, when I took the OTA update to Marshmallow. Hopefully they Verizon/Samsung has a fix for this issue.
Same issue
I have a 2015 Highlander and have exact same issue. If you go to settings and then bluetooth, click the sprocket next to the paired toyota device and turn off contact and call sync, it will stop crashing your Toyota stereo. It does mean that your contacts and call history will not show in your Toyota system. I reinstalled android 5.1.1 from www sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SMN920V/ download 5.1.1 and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page. The download takes about 2 hours but worth having my toyota stereo working again. I have contacted Toyota and Verizon and both have been zero help. :crying:
Hello,
After the Oreo I had issues with my bluetooth syncing properly to my car. I drive a 2017 Corolla iM and never had issues with my music bt audio syncing before. My phone calls with my b.t works just fine . But music apps like Spotify / Google music doesn't work. I found a workaround using my aha radio app that came with the car and played my music with b.t through there just fine. So I know it's not the music apps problem . My girlfriend iPhone 7 bluetooth with Spotify works just fine, and it syncs into my car. But I don't know why mine stopped working.
Thanks,

You're not alone. I too am having the problem. I hope Google fixes this soon. If not, sad to say I am probably never buying another Pixel because this is ridiculous.

Hey, I found a workaround. Basically using my old nexus 7 tablet with Spotify and my pixel with hotspot for my tablet and then listening onto the n7 device. both bluetooth are turned on with n7 for music and my pixel for phone in my car options. You can use any other devices as long as it's not Oreo.
Would flashing a custom ROM fix this?
It's very annoying. My Volkswagen Golf (with RNS 510 Version S) will connect automatically with calls, but to get bluetooth audio streaming working, I have to manually disable bluetooth and then reenable before it will be seen by the car.
Prior to 8.0 this worked automatically.
At the moment, I have A Sena 20S for my motorcycle and an Plantronics headset, and if I activate Google with either one, using the buttons or just hitting the google MIC button, no audio is heard by the phone over the Mic.
really causes and issue for me. Any idea if there is a fix, I also made sure that Bluetooth Headset is set to on. No go. Frustrating, I ahve 30 days, if this is not fixed, i will need to send it back ..
IM sure its just a patch, but when?
Hello everyone,
I cannot play music in my car (BMW F30) after Android Pie update on U11+. Phone calls via blueooth work perfectly, but audio streaming is not working at all. I already tried in both car and phone: forgeting devices and adding them again, phone and idrive reset, network settings reset, removing bluetooth processes from battery optimization and turning battery optimization off. I also tried changing bluetooth AVRCP version. Still no audio.
My gfs HTC Desire 10 connects to this car and plays audio without any issues.
Anyone noticed similar problem? Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Hello ,
I'm searching a fix between my HTC u11 plus and my f20 since I got android pie but for the moment no issue ... My wife has the HTC Ultra with android oreo and no problem...
There are 2 stranges behaviours with my f20 ...
1) If I connect an other phone on my f20 and for those phone the music streaming is ok, then if the bluetooth on my phone is still connected and I restart the car , then the music streaming is working ! But If switch off the car and then I restart it , the music streaming connection is lost...
2) After performing an HARD reset on the HTC and BEFORE installing my google account, the music streaming works without any problem ! So There is a problem with my saved google account. After reinstalling all applications , the streaming is gone again ...
I read this post , I guess you changed your phone ? and if you have a fix , I will be very happy I'm upset to use 2 phones in my car ...
Thx !
