Hybrid case?

Has anyone used/seen this case before?
Saw it on eBay listed as grey/white hybrid case.

I've been pretty happy with my NGP Incipio case, but this looks interesting.

I bought two of these cases, one black and one white. I love them! Only thing is that the white one gets dirty really quickly and the hole for the 3.5mm jack might require some modification for some plugs to fit.

S***! Sorry! Haha, I thought you were talking about another Hybrid case for the G2x, I originally posted from my phone using the XDA app, so the image wasn't showing up properly.
Buttttttt, I have a friend who has this EXACT case for her iPhone. It doesn't cover up any buttons but the rubber part isn't exactly the snuggest fit on the phone. It's worth a shot, especially considering how cheap it is.

Placed an order a few hours ago, supposed to be here by saturday.
Will keep you guys updated.

eh, i had a white one, had to modify for headphone jack and charger and its made kind of cheaply. worked nice for the time i had it though.

Same here. I just ordered some perforated cases, but this looks neat as well.
If the quality is any good I'd be interested. Can't go wrong with lots of cases Variety is good!

Hybrid Case Review
I have been using this case for a full day now and it's great!
The case is actually two pieces, an inner silicone (which can be used easily by itself) and a harder shell on the outside.
This is why I'll be comparing it to the Trident Aegis, which is the case I'm coming from.
Much like the Aegis it covers all of the ports... except for the bottom speakers and hdmi (which the Aegis does cover.)
I got the white one and it looks really good with the gray shell.
Now the case is built somewhat cheap, especially since it's only $10. However, I think it goes face to face with the $25 Trident Aegis one.
What I like about this case over Aegis, and the reason why I won't be going back is because of how light and thin it keeps the case, unlike the fat Aegis.
Highly recommended. I might upload pics later if I have time.

I had gotten two, one was purple rubber with black plastic with holes and one was blue rubber and purple plastic with holes. I swapped the plastic with holes parts for an all purple for LSU theme and a black and blue one. I did notice the hole where you plug in the charger may need to be altered or just remove the case when charging, it is a little tight. But they are worth the 9 dollars each.

Ionic Guardian case still 75% off at Amazon

This case is still on sale on Amazon at around $15 incl delivery. Quite a few people have reported delivery issues (delays, cancelations, etc) but from what I've seen the people that have the case are pleased. Just so you know the case cones in two pieces (thanks All__fun). I think if someone wants a cheap but theoretically durable case, this is a good starting point. If you don't mind waiting.
It is nice and well made. It is definitely the bulkiest case I've had as of yet. Also it's difficult to charge using the lg wcp700. It works but has to be put on the charger precisely.[/QUOTE]

Previously the phone would slide easily in and out of my pocket,
you can't tell in the picture, but the case is actually a 2 piece case, a soft inner case, that the phone slides into, and a hard outer cover that gives the phone it's design. (the white, black, pink, or blue distinction.)
This is probably the best case out right now for the phone, but I can't stress enough how thick and bulky the phone is now. If you are willing to sacrifice it's sleek design, this case offers good protection.
I don't have a screen protector on right now, so I cannot add whether or not this peels off or interferes with the protector.
I will also add that with the Ionic case on, when looking at the lock screen, I find it more difficult to swipe left and right between different lock screens. I have a screen lock pattern, and that registers my finger strokes rather than a swipe to a different lock screen.

i have to agree with the rest of you that it is one fugly case. ugh the price of protection.

If you hating on the circles just get black?
I ordered a blue one just because I'm board of black. I will let you how it is when it comes.

Perhaps the cutouts allow it to cool a bit and also make it lighter.. I don't think it looks bad.
As long as proximity works and the USB and head phone jacks are open I would buy it..

I'm assuming you have a nexus 4, that's why you're ordering it.
look at the back of your phone, look at where the camera, flash and speaker is. now compare it to the pics on the webpage.

Pretty sure that doesn't fit a nexus. The camera hole and speaker hole are in the wrong place. Also, the listing talks about there being synthetic leather on the outside of the case, and microfiber lining the interior... I don't think that's the right case buddy...

It says it's for the LG Nexus 4 E960. The cutouts don't look right on the picture, but a lot of times they just post mock ups and generic pics to give a general idea of what it looks like. It's less than $7 so I'm not too worried about it.

I have basically the same thing for my GNex. I really like that case. some what slim, gel around the edges and hard TPU on the back. good case.

Agreed, what makes this better than any other TPU case out there? The fact that it's 6 bucks? Get a quality case from Diztronic for 12 and have it shipped to you before January.

[User Review] Hard Red Case with Gel Black borders.

Hey guys, I just recieved this case that I bought from ebay and since I've found it so pleasent to use and to look at, I decided to share my impressions with you, so here we go. Hope you enjoy the pictures, I took a bunch since when I look for a review I want plenty of captures.
Starting off, the case is worth 8 USD and I bought it from ebay. I got it shipped for 4 extra box.

Starting with the case itself, its made from a hard plastic cover, wich as you can see is coloured red, its smooth at touch but it has some sort of texture on it wich you can't really feel but its there. The borders are made from some kind of tpu plastic wich is totally flexible and I have to say it has a very premium feeling on it, and the back itself has the same feeling of being a nice material that looks and feels incredible.

There are cutouts for the camera, speaker and microphones, and there's also a small cutout that follows the earpiece's shape. Off course, you still get access to your headphone jack as well as the micro usb port.
The power button and volume rocker are protected within the case and don't worry they are very VERY easy to press, even easier that without it, unlike some other cases ( that I also own that are such a pain to press ).
Regarding protection wise, I've been using this case for just 2 days and I haven't dropped my device since then but I'm sure its gonna do well. The borders slightly cover the front of the screen and since they are made to absorb the impact if it lands front-faced and the back is a hard plastic wich its gonna protect it if it lands back-sided.
What about the feeling using it? Well, the phone feels very secure when placed into the case, it doesn't add to much bulk to it to be honest, it's clearly not one of the skinniest out there but it isn't that bulky either. It doesn't add to much weight neither. It's very comfortable to hold to say the least.
I have to say that I'm very pleased with my purchase, since it is very cheap for a case that for my taste it's quite handsome and well made.

I've got 2 more cheap tpu cases ( S-wave black one and another transparent with a matte back ) but they are fairly similar to it size wise, don't think it's gonna help a comparison between them.

I think it's pretty clear in the pictures, isn't it?. As you can see it offers a little bit of distance between the concrete and your screen if it falls on it, so your screen should be safe from hitting the ground.

anybody do this? i'm thinking of buying the white battery cover to put on my black mist
i bought a black gloss battery cover from ebay but it looks TOO cheap lol. i also bought the black metal one but before i read about signal loss (havent gotten that one in the mail yet)
there arent many on ebay that i really like and i'm not completely sold on the stock one
i also bought a barely there case mate case but i dont use it because i just like the look and feel of a naked phone. so a case is not really an option.

so it would be zebra colour ?

I've actually had this for about a week now since my brother's white S4 came in. I've ended up giving him my neo hybrid case because I like the black mist/white cover look quite a bit. Don't really know how I'd take a pic of it for ya because it'd just look like a white S4 from behind
