[Q] stuck in clockworkmode - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

i have a HTC one X
but it's from t-mobile but it had been unlocked. Coudn't find anywhere in the forum with t-mobile and htc one x, this was the closes one so i hope i still can get some help.
the cellphone got disconnected while was updating from a new connection usb to the computer.
Now when i start the htc it goes to clockworkmode recovery v5.8.3.1
I sent it to repair at the local shop but they say there is nothing they could do.
Anyone know how i could fix my problem?
Thanks you in advance

Wrong section.
I also have the Telus variant of the HOX and would love to see a root come out for 1.91. If any devs see this, I would be more than willing to help in any way.

Recovery error on HTC one S

Hello everyone!
I'm trying to install a recovery on HTC ONE S (S4-1.7Ghz).
I've installed all fastboot/adb drivers needed, adb recognise the device and I've flashed successfully many recoveryes img.
The problem is: I'm not able to ENTER the recovery.
In bootloader, i press the power button when "recovery" is highlighted, so the phone tries to enter the recovery (pink text "Entering recovery...") but remains stuck on the "HTC - quietly brilliant" logo and a red text under it:
"This build is for develoment purposes only.
Do not distribute outside of htc without HTC's written permission.
Failure to comply may lead to legal action" <-- What?? Why?? What I've done??
I've bought this phone from expansys (UK model)... unlocked from any carrier.
Please help me :/
If your default clock speed is 1.7 then you have a s3.

Maybe I've damaged the phone installing an s4 recovery?

First of all, if that is your stock cpu speed, than you have an s3, not s4
Second, that message is normal, you'll see it everytime you boot into recovery.
It'll take some time to boot but you'll get used to it

First make sure if you have a S3 or a S4 (there are several threads which explain the differences)
If you have a S3 you have to be sure to install a custom recovery that works with S3.
I had the same problem, because I have a S3 and tried to install the wrong recovery!
Try with TWRP for S3 if you have one!

Yes, I've an S3 model
So I can't install... every ROM out there, except for stock-based Sense rom.
This is bad, I wanted to install CM10 on this phone, to leave forever the Sense interface and customizations...
There's trickdroid for s3. It's not sense-free but better than stock

Well then welcome to the S3-community
Be patient, maybe someday we will get a ROM which is not based on Sense

I'm crazy, I bought the two worst-dev-supported devices: HTC one S (S3) and Nexus 7 3G (tilapia)
The funny thing is that HTC one S4 and Nexus 7 Wifi are insanely supported...
I'm sure that Nexus 7 will reach excellent dev level, but I'm not sure about this HTC one S... :/

Just wait for it. Every day the S3 community is growing bigger.
So there will be either more devs who get a S3 or more devs will port their Roms to S3.
Until then, I can recommend to you TrickDroid 4.0. It is still Sense but there are enough ways to customize your phone.

Can someone help me with installing some sort of recovery?

Hey, this is my first HTC device & I have no clue what to do with it after unlocking my bootloader. That was the easy part & I hard bricked my last one x because I couldn't tell the difference between HTC one x & one xl. I basically just need help installing team win recovery & then hopefully I could find a rom & whatnot. I've had experience with Motorola devices before & I've learned they're very different.... Thanks in advance for any help I could possibly get with my problem!!!
This toolkit is pretty straightforward and will do the job:

Anything in the AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL forums is intended for this phone.

That's why we are here. Nothing is a dumb question and it is better to ask instead of having a bricked phone you can't revive. Everything in this section is for the phone you have. Tweaks apps etc

[Q] Problems reinstalling Stock ROM

Hi there.
I'm really, really new on this subject, but this weekend i tried booting my HTC One X into Cyanogenmod. Unfortunately i was not satisfied as my Internet Browsers (Built-in and Chrome) kept crashing.
I now want to get back to the Stock ROM, but i'm uncertain what to do. I browsed this page for way too long last night, but there was no help to find.
Upon installation of Cyanogenmod, i createda back-up which i tried restoring from, but after that it could not boot, and this very moment i'm scared i bricked my phone or something.
While my phone was working i downloaded the correct Stock ROM and placed it on my SD-card. I tried installing it via recovery mode, but the installation aborted.
Any help would be fantastic, but please keep in mind that i'm new on the subject, and english isn't my primary language.
Cheers.
Firstly, is your phone the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

One X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Looks like One X to me -
Anyways - I found RUU + guide HERE . My phone booted the stock system now, but i can't Unlock it (Screen-lock, finger-swipe thing you know).
Any advice on this?
Nope. Take it from someone who knows what they're talking about, someone who is on this forum every single day because I have the One XL. I can't give you any advice because I don't know anything about your phone because you're asking in the wrong forum. You have the HTC One X, and I'll say again this is the HTC One XL / at&t One X forum, completely different device.

Pls help me. I maybe bought faulty HTC One X.

So this is the story.
I have a friend who went on a vacation from Croatia to the UK. In the UK, he bought the HTc One X there, locked on o2 network. He sold that device to me, and he told me that i can unlock the device by purchasing unlock code from eBay. I purchased several codes, but i keep getting error - incorrect password.
I really have no choice, i cant sell that device to anybody, neither i can use it on Croatian networks.
Also, i have made factory reset, but it seems that neither this helps me.
Also, when i try to update software to 4.2.2, in middle of installation red exclamation mark shows up, then phone reboots. Please help me.
Device is not rooted, has stock recovery installed, bootloader is relocked, and stock 4.1.1 is installed.
Is there any other method of unlocking the device except entering the unlock code.
Thanks in advance
