soo did you guys ever felt about your device that in some or the other way it should be comparable to s4 or any other high end device like the nexus?
soo here is a thing brought to you by me Wave Camera.
persistent handsfree - just wave your hands across the phone's screen and baam! play pause video
amazing isn't it?
smart capture - wave your hands in front of the the screen to take pictures easily
power shutter- have you ever felt the want of a special dedicated camera button?
now you don't need to coz you have it
click photos by pressing the power button .. - easy while clicking self or group photos when you don't want to exclude anyone saying that you're a camera man ;p
should work on any phone running aosp based roms or stock vanilla

1. Backup your old Camera.apk or rename to Camera.apk.bak
2. Flash via ClockworkMod Recovery.
To get back to Stock Camera --> Flash this : http://www.multiupload.com/JDGVXRRQ00
Enjoy !
So has anyone taken good shots yet !
This does NOT belong in Development, it belongs in Themes and Apps, where it has been moved. Now I'm cleaning up the thread. Continue on with the pertinent discussion.
flash via recovery?
Does it have panorama mode?
How is the pic quality here? I was with my SGSII till I sold it to pic a note...and I know that there were always issues with alternative camera apps, strangely enough the samsung camera was always the number one when it came to pic quality.
Can anyone confirm that antishake works for video too?
I find it incredible hard to get video of my 2-yo daughter in decent quiality running with SGN after her. Overall quality is ok actually, but i cant watch the result as i get sick after ca. 30 sec because of shaking image
I remember many posts I've read in the past wishing that someone could develop a camera app with an incremental manual focus feature, that gave an on screen bar that you'd move to control the focus. No one found a solution after toying with existing camera apks. After playing with the LG G2, I've found that the camera app has that feature.
If anyone more proficient at app development could create an apk usable for other android phones based off of the LG G2, I would be MOST appreciative; I also believe many people in this community would be grateful as well, as that's such an underrated feature for a camera. :cyclops:

Hopefully this info gives someone what they need to create one!
Most cameras only support autofocus and it is handled by the system not app itself.
You can touch where to focus/set focus at macro or infinity. The slider in that app allows as much only.. macro >auto/touch>infinity.
There are a few other modes but none provide any precise control over focus.
P.S. I could be wrong, you can check out Camera.Parameters for more info.

Hi,
years of hard development work has come to this. We are proud to present our latest mod, TYST4K.
ABOUT
Our Teichoscopic Rectiserial Odophone Libeccio Loxophthalmus makes this possible. We've done our research and we have years of experience in screen technology and development. We're currently negotiating with the "big boys" to get our work to wider audience, but you'll get this early because we love XDA and its community! Makes your device's resolution 4K (2160p)!
INSTALLATION
Download our script from attachments and place it in the root of your SD card. Reboot and voilà!
What else can we say? Enjoy your new 4K screen, no need to update your phone for at least a year! Also don't be worried, our technology is so efficient that your phone won't lag at all:good: Next we're going to start developing 8K but until then, be sure to leave a "thanks" if you're currently bragging about this to your friends and they're looking at you amazed!

I like your app mate. However I'm not very fond of the icon you used, because as a thumbnail it doesn't look nice.
Also for a future release you might wanna consider adding a my wallpapers section where all downloads are kept. From there enable the option for automatic car changing.
Great selection by the way. I've been looking for good looking wallpapers for a while. App works good on my nexus 7 with CM11, however in landscape mode thumbnails start to flash and can't be seen, unless clicked upon. Issue is not present in portrait mode.
Edit: after a bit of browsing the flashing issue is present in all sections both in portrait and in landscape. Clicking on an item brings up a toast error that image isn't in favorites.

Thanks, that's great !
Alright guys, so its been pretty long that i posted some good stuffs here.. now who missed me..
Okay so in case you don't know, there is a new phone in town, and there is a pretty cool very special thing about it.. It is called the Oppo Find X, and it comes with a complete end to end bezeless screen without a notch.. see some photos below.

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now the question you should be asking is where are the cameras.. I won't be saying on that.. just take a look at the photos below once again..
So like you have seen, the new Oppo Find X comes with the cameras built into a separate motorised compartment that slides up when you open the camera app and slides back in when you exit the camera app.. pretty cool right..
Okay like we used to do it before, we've already written a comprehensive and interesting article about the new Oppo Find X, so for those who wish to know more about it, please Follow The Link Below To see all you need to know about the new Oppo Find X.. In brother Shaggi's voice.. Taink You.
