Unfortunately I flashed this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1878506 on my sensation.
Don't ask how I was absolutely idiot.
android revolution hd run on it without any problem but after flashing that galaxy kernel and rebooted from 4ext
not booting even the H-boot either. fastboot says for "adb devices" command " after I connected the sensation via usb cable to windows "List of devices attached" but nothing appear
I tried power + vol down power + vol up power+home power+back but nothing just a dark flash for a sec after nothing.
:crying:
Would be able someone to give me any advice what should I do .
Thank you
Yes. You killed your sensation. It sounds like a hard brick, although you can always try the unbricking project here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23078349
I really don't think it'll work, but you've got nothing to lose at this point. If the phone won't boot at all (not even in bootloader) and adb doesn't recognize the device, you may have to get your motherboard replaced.
I hope the link works for you, but prepare to spend some money fixing your phone.

Thanks Brother for the quick response! I don't know it will work or not but I will try out. After 6 hours of nervousness you gave me a glimmer of hope.
Good luck! Let us know if the unbrick project works.

I've searched the forums but i wasn't able to find a solution to my problem.. so i'm forced to start another thread for another bricked DS..
So.. i was installing a customROM today(Virtuous 2.37) in recovery mode.. everything seemed initialy ok but the phone freezeed in a bootloop.. i was stupid and i've removed the battery.. and since then my phone is dead..
If i press the power buton it vibrates 7times.. and the screen remains black..
If i pull out the battery and press again the power button, same thing..
If i connect the phone to usb nothing happens, no led is turning any color
ADB doesn't work, it says: "device not found"
Fastboot doesn't work, it says: "waiting for device"
Power + vol up/down doesn't do anything..
So.. please help.. is it dead for good?
I'm sry to say that, but it looks like yours is one of a few devices where the emmc chip is really fried.
But otherwise cause of this your lucky and could give it back for warranty and get a new or repaired one
Won't they observe that the device is S-Offed?

How they should if there's no access^^
But some others with your problem told that they got warranty cause it's a true hardware failure and has nothing to do with the software.
And amidabuddha told that common sense is replace not repair (what could mean that the whole device will be replaced or the emmc chip in your device).
So i think there should be no real problems
@poster
jst send it back to htc and request for a replacement
am sure they will do that cos we hv seen some guys dat it happened to n it was replaced

I had same problem and sent for replacement.they told me that they are going to change the motherboard, but they don't have stocks for it and I need to wait for quite some time,,,
Do tell us if you get it replaced by the hTC....
I fried my eMMC chip by pulling my battery while getting impatient while installing a ROM. And HTC repaired my device under warranty and never questioned or mentioned anything about the device been s-off.

First, thank you for the feedback/advices.
Second, i just got my phone back from the service, they have replaced the pcb(or at least that's what they told me).
i flashed ics ota update along with superuser zip and all was fine, ics was running perfectly along with root access. google wallet kept forceclosing so i uninstalled it. then i decided i wanted it back to see if i could fix it. without thinking i rebooted to recovery and reflashed the update and su. when i rebooted the phone shut down and wont restart, its completey dead. it wont charge or boot at all. after thinking about it i realize i shouldnt have flashed it since i was already on 4.0 and the update was from 2.3.6 to 4.0. can anyone help me or am i screwed. please help!

Can you get to the bootloader?
From off, Power + VOL-UP. If you get the bootloader screen w/4 options, youre phone is not bricked.

The nexus s is pretty hard to permanently brick, but can be a pain depending how bad it is. This time was bad for me. I had already flashed the ics update and flashed superuser zip and all was fine except Google wallet. I uninstalled it with titanium but had second thoughts , so I decided to flash the update again. I know better but just wasn't thinking. The update was from 2.3.6 to 4.0 and since I was already on 4.0 it really screwed it up. It wouldn't do anything absolutely nothing. Apparently the bootloader , boot, and recovery images were completely gone. I did some searching and found unbrickable resurrector. Only problem was it only worked on Linux. So I had to make my laptop duel boot Ubuntu and windows. Ubuntu for unbrickable resurrector and windows for adb/fastboot. Although it sounds rather easy it took about 2 days till I finally figured it all out. I could probably do it now in 30 minutes. And a jig would most likely work but I wouldn't know where to get one. Anyway the resurrector allowed me to boot into fastboot mode and adb/fastboot allowed me to reflash the lost images. Thank God that's over!

Guys - I need help. I think i just blew my phone.
I flashed THE Sense-O-Maniac ICE ROM after a clean wife and my phone wouldn't boot. It kept getting stock on the Beats Logo. So I rewiped everything and reflashed this ROM. - Same result.
I then thought, maybe I should also update the firmware, though I am pretty sure, that my firmware was up to date.
So i reflashed the firmware on phone but it still wouldnt boot.
I took the memory card out and deleted the the firmware file so that I could not flash another rom. But when I tried to boot in Recovery my screen just went blank.
JUST BLANK
When I switch my phone on, I get a blank screen. The screen does light up though, but nothing shows.
If i connect the phone to USB, then the screen again lights up, even without the batter.
Has my phone gone poof??? Please help.
clean wife.
and why do u keep reflashing sense o maniac? why not try other rom?
Did you update your kernel or tried to use backup or install just old ROM, so far it doesn't sound bricked but just something missing, what was your previous ROM?

try "adb reboot recovery" continuously when booting the phone, ignoring all of the "error: device not found"
Boot while holding the volume down key (meaning power btn+ vol-). that should take you to the boot loader. once you're there, go to fastboot and flash a recovery image. you seem to have corrupted yours.
I had the same troubles with that rom.

i have been trying to do this for the past 10 mins, but I cant get anything.
All i keep getting is error:device not found.
The computer too does not give any indication of any device being connected to the Usb port..
You should boot into bootloader (vol- & power) then flash a stock gb ruu. After this you can proceed to s-off, root, firmware ... Etc

Sjeez mate, what is your problem?
Posting here and in my thread with the same issue.
Without any detailed issue report.
I offered my help in my thread and tried to contact you for several days now via PM.
So i can help you out of this mess via Talk or IRC.
But if you fail to reply to me which i see as not accepting my help.
Sort it out for your self and going on by nailing me down.
But don't say i didn't want you to help.
With regards,
The cook of this rom who seems to killed his phone.
Hello,
I've been using my HTC Sensation for more than a year, but since monday I can't get it to work.
When I turn it on, a grey screen appears instantly and I can't do anything on the phone (see picture)
I was using CM 10.1 rom for a long time without any problem
Is that a software issue or a hardware issue ? I'm scared my phone had died...
can you enter recovery? "hold down power plus volume down" at the same time
I've tried many times but no, I can't enter recovery...

No bootloader... I absolutely have no screen and image
After I went to a repair store, they told me that the screen is broken.
They ask me 120€ (160$) to change it. Is it possible to buy a screen on internet and change it by myself ? (knowing that I never repaired a phone before and have absolutely no knowledge in doing it)
Can anybody answer me please ?...
up !
I was following Timmaaas 'How To' guide to a tee when I got to step #5 and and did the Reboot to find that my phone is now bricked. I was racking my brain trying to understand what I did wrong and I realize that I used the wrong Boot.img file when I flashed it!
I was having issues during the entire process and realized it was because I was using the CyanogenMod One X ROM instead of the XL. This was causing me to get an 'Error 7' until I switched to the XL and everything downloaded fine. However, I completely forgot to replace the Boot.img and ended up flashing my phone with the One X boot.img instead of the XL!
The phone is not responding at all. I did have it plugged into the computer and after it became bricked my computer downloaded the Qualcomm USB drivers for 9006 but its still not responding at all.
Is there anything I can do? It seems like all I need to do is change that one boot file and I would be golden. Please keep in mind this is my first Root so if you know of a way to fix I would really appreciate it if you can teach me in simple terms if possible.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate all you guys do at XDA you help an enormous amount of people. A donation from me is on the way! :good:
EDIT: I kept messing with the power button trying to boot it over and over and finally it launched to HTC one entry screen with the red text for a little less then 1 second but then shut back off. Maybe this gives some hope?
You're gonna need to get a jtag repair done. There's just no way for you to get the device to the bootloader in order to flash the right boot.img because it won't boot due to you borking the boot partition.

Are you able to issue adb commands? If you're seeing the splash screen then you may not be completely bricked. If the device is still showing as qualcommUSB then you're likely out of luck though.
