Im very picky when it comes to cases for my phone, and after days of searching i've found the prefect case for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Spigen SGP Neo Hybrid is thin, shock resistant, elagant, feel's great in the hand, and has very minimalistic feel, with a rubber soft touch back!. The Neo Hybrid is a two piece case, one silicone rubber, and a plastic ring to wrap around. Though the rubber lip around the ring is not thick! it does offer enough protection to block the screen from touching the surface.

Just got my Realook SP for my S4, and it looks amazing so I thought I would share: Link to Amazon
I have used a Realook SP since my Vibrant and have always been happy with them. Spigen SP's look awesome (never used on personally), but for those of you looking for a good glass-feeling SP for less than 1/2 the price of a Spigen, I highly recommend this.
One thing I don't like about some SP's (including Spigen) is when it drops below the earpiece, making the SP more noticeable. The Realook wraps around the earpiece, making it virtually unnoticeable. Installation was a little tricky due to the SP being such a tight cut, but once installed you can't even tell its on:

I always appreciate other's opinions on accessories for our phone, so I figured I'd throw mine in.
This isn't even a glass screen protector.

It feels the same as glass and looks good - that's the point I was making. The Glas.t looks sweet, but it's a little pricey and this is a good alternative.
How is it with smudging and fingerprints? Is it better than the plastic spigen ones if you have any experience with those.
Yeah, you should rename the thread title...
You can't compare apples and oranges. Plastic Screen protectors are NOT glass screen protectors.
You should say... "alternative to sgp ultra crystal screen protector" or something.
Final point that makes this thread ??? is that Spigen ultra crystal clear plastic is $6.99 on Amazon and covers everything except for the camera hole.

Misleading title is misleading

I received my tough armor case today and really like it
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Using my tough armor for everyday use and otterbox defender for work and such. I'm normally a huge advocate for UAG but the button covers are a bit of a disappointment to me. I've used the UAG cases on my last couple of phones. This is my first spigen. Seems to be pretty good.
Thanks for the post, trying to decide between the two, had the UAG for my S3, liked it a lot but it didn't have the best grip.
How tight fitting is the UAG compared to the SGP case? Some suggested the UAG case may with the S5 with a wireless charging back installed. I know my Tough Armour doesn't.

Spigen' Tough Armor and Slim Armors have kickstand at a reasonable price. Mic cutouts aren't Verizon version friendly though.

How is the grip on the slim armor?

I bought the slim armor off of Amazon. I think the case is complementary to the phone and I would recommend the case with the caveat that the kickstand feels flimsy, all though I have not had any problems using the kickstand daily. I would say that the 'grip' is middle of the road... as in it's not as grippy as cases I have had in the past ( Seidio & Redpepper on GN2) but it doesn't feel like it will fly out of your hand either.
You might also look at the Seido Surface

If you don't mind paying a premium, the FlyGrip Gravity makes a great kickstand. It worked well on my Ringke Fusion case.
I pre ordered this one.

Getting it end of the month
Just wanted to know how that case is doing for you? any issues with NFC when the case is on?
Is the kickstand flimsy?
Easy to use the heartrate sensor in the back?
i use spigen's slim armor. the kickstand on that IS flimsy. mine broke off after about three months of use. now i'm looking for a new case. sigh.
I just received case from Tudia
TUDIA Slim-Fit MERGE Dual Layer
Features: Dual layer design fuses a premium quality polycarbonate outer layer with an enhanced Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) rubberized gel skin to offer slim, lightweight and form-fitted protection for the LG G5
Snap on design allows for easy installation and multiple colors are available to match your personal style.
Features raised edges to protect the display screen from scratches when the device is placed face down and a lip that allows compatibility with most screen protectors
Utilizing two layers, this cover incorporates the top safety advantages of both a hard and soft case. The soft inner TPU absorbs and disperses the shock of most drops encountered in daily use. On the exterior, the durable polycarbonate shield protects against scratches and still maintains the smooth and sleek feel of your device
Precision-Cut cutouts perfectly align with all buttons, controls, and ports. Allows easy access to the camera, speakers, microphone, and charging port without having to remove the case
Case look very nice. Not too much bulky. I have this grey colour and look perfect with my grey G5.
Case stay in hand very well.
Protection is on max. Front and back side. Tempered glass dont have problem with this case. This is my first tudia case and it dont be last one.
One of my favourite cases

Hey guys, I have the white variant coming in and was wondering what you guys are using.
On my previous white phones I loved using clear hybrid cases that had clear plastic on the backside and tpu on the sides.
I hate all clear tpu because of how quickly they turn yellow.
This is there only one I found on Amazon.

I'm using the white as well. I do feel your "pain" about clear cases turning yellow at some point but it is what it is I suppose. In general, cases do get dirty at some point and probably will need to be replaced anyway. I just recently re-purchased (this past week actually) this Tudia TPU clear case to replace the same case that I purchased in 12/2017. So it lasted me about 9 months? I've tried maybe one other case but didn't like it because it was too slippery. The thing I really like with this Tudia TPU clear case is that the sides have these ridges that make it really comfortable to hold securely.
Here is a picture of my old and new case to see the difference of 9 months of my usage/handling:

Just got the phone. Very slippery without a case. I ordered both cases.

I always get clear cases for any phone I get. Just cause I like making my own custom backs for it. I've been enjoying my Tudia Clear Case nicely
