Just got my Realook SP for my S4, and it looks amazing so I thought I would share: Link to Amazon
I have used a Realook SP since my Vibrant and have always been happy with them. Spigen SP's look awesome (never used on personally), but for those of you looking for a good glass-feeling SP for less than 1/2 the price of a Spigen, I highly recommend this.
One thing I don't like about some SP's (including Spigen) is when it drops below the earpiece, making the SP more noticeable. The Realook wraps around the earpiece, making it virtually unnoticeable. Installation was a little tricky due to the SP being such a tight cut, but once installed you can't even tell its on:

I always appreciate other's opinions on accessories for our phone, so I figured I'd throw mine in.
This isn't even a glass screen protector.

It feels the same as glass and looks good - that's the point I was making. The Glas.t looks sweet, but it's a little pricey and this is a good alternative.
How is it with smudging and fingerprints? Is it better than the plastic spigen ones if you have any experience with those.
Yeah, you should rename the thread title...
You can't compare apples and oranges. Plastic Screen protectors are NOT glass screen protectors.
You should say... "alternative to sgp ultra crystal screen protector" or something.
Final point that makes this thread ??? is that Spigen ultra crystal clear plastic is $6.99 on Amazon and covers everything except for the camera hole.

Misleading title is misleading

I just ordered mine. Coming from T-Mobile, I have had the Tough Case on my Sensation and I love it! It's like the Otterbox Commuter case but much better. Feels better with the grip and feels like it will protect the phone much more as well. Tried the Commuter on in the store and compared it to my Sensation in the tough case and the guy at ATT was even like "the Otterbox isn't anywhere near as nice..."
Will let y'all know when I get it and do a review...
Case Mate Tough Case for SGSIISR
I bought one today from Androidcentral.com. It's on sale there for $19.99. I had a similar model on my old Nexus One (remember way back when?). It's a great case...just remember to take it off every few weeks and clean out the micro pocket lint that gets in there.

I received the CaseMate Tough today. There's an inner soft sleeve and an outer shell/backing. It fits great on the SR--all ports and buttons match up perfectly. It's easy to slide into a pocket without getting stuck on anything but grippier than a smooth case (or no case), and doesn't add too much bulk. The front lip extends out to serve as a bumper for the screen.
Pics?

Here you go. Note a bit of dust/pocket lint on the inner soft case. It does seem to attract that.

i had the casemate tough case for my tmobile vibrant galaxy S and i loved it.
ill defintely be picking up this case for my SR.
its so worth it and handles anything you throw at it.
I would like to see bumper / frame case for HTC ONE S. Thus, you can still protect the phone but keep it sleak. Why no manufacturer makes bumper cases for our phones? In the past I coulnd not find one for my N1 either.
...And bumper case released in 2015 when the phone will be two year old makes no sense too.
If anyone finds solution please post here. Regular TPU case cut down to bumper won't look good too.
Or it might be just technical limitation. The curves of the phone might not be good enough to hold such rubber band.
Other phones (iCrap) have variation of bumper cases, we don't have even one available.

to answer your question though, the closest thing to those "BUMPER" cases is barely there cases. They are thin and still offer protection. But no, there is no such case like a flimsy rubberband that just protects the sides.
someone found a bumper case yet? I can't find one

Thanks, but it's one of those hybrid bumper cases with a hard plastic backing. My gf had one for her old blackberry and it totally scratched it (if dust or sand gets between the hard plastic and the phone, it makes scratches)
Bought this screen protector off eBay, the only cheap matte one I could find. Don't fancy paying £10+ to mess it up.
The top quality Japan PET material is imported from Japan : high transparent material and frosted material. Transparency:99%, Anti-Scratch, Anti-Dust.

Some photos of it fitted, as you can see the edges don't stick down very well.

The case if anyone is interested,
You can't really tell from the images but it does make the text soft and it has a hazy effect like you'd find on a old touchscreen computer. I do like the matte finish as it also doesn't show greasy marks as much.
Overall the cost of £2.39 for 6 I can't complain and it will hold me over until I find a better replacement. I don't want to post the eBay link up but you should be able to easily find it.
This has been my experience with 95% of the matte screen protectors I've tried. The *only* one I've been happy with was an SGP one on my Droid X.
Which case is that you're using?
You're going to have problems with your phones proximity sensor because from the pictures above, the screen protector is covering it.. I would suggest you cut a hole on the top left corner of the protector before application..
With this current setup, your phone screen will not come on whenever you receive a call...
Woah, that looks really nice! I just wish matte protectors didn't ruin the clarity.
It covers the top and bottom!
One week ago, I purchased the Diztronic Matte TPU Case, and this case. At only a dollar, (plus shipping) I didn't think much about it. I knew it would be similar to those cases you find at the mobile stores at the mall, because I previously purchased a similar one for my iPhone. Unlike most of the cases for the Nexus 4, this case Does cover the top and bottom of the device, but is still light and minimalistic like the Rearth Rinkge Slim, actually this case doesn't have a logo. It is a hard shell case, and is made of two parts, which you press together when you put the case on. It is made of soft touch rubber...plastic....(not too sure, but it is the same texture of the matte black cases), and the volume and power buttons are accessible. It also came with a useless screen protector, but it looks like it was for the Optimus G. Overall, I am very Surprised from the practicality of using this 90 cent case daily. I strongly recommend.
Pro's: Slim, Light, and Minimalistic, covers top and bottom, decent lip. buttons exposed
Does well with edge to edge screen protectors
Con's: Feels Slightly Cheap, cutting of the case was not exact, and there is slight fraying where it was cut
This is my first post, so I cant share the link, but it is called the BC Hard Shield Shell Cover Snap On Case for T-Mobile LG Nexus 4 E960 + Fitted Screen Protector -Black (on amazon)

Call me a Sammy fanboy if you may, here I am who jumped into the wagon and join others who are so eager to get S6 and was oblige to get a screen protector to protect this $700+ device. I’ve ordered IllumiShield screen protector from Amazon, because at that time it was really selling relatively cheap and also the product has nice review. I’ve received it recently and was totally satisfied. Easy to apply, stick and peel kind of thing, no damn water spray or special potion to use during application. Result was smooth, feels like glass, and does not look like thin saran wraps or so. Easy to take off and re-apply. For stubborn hair and specks of dust, the masking tape did its job wonderfully. So, there’s my new found screen protector.

So have you gotten your screen protector? If so, what's yours?
Yup I am using it too. I tried two tempered glass screen protectors (iSmooth and a generic brand) and they both had some serious halo effects due to the nature of the curved screen on the phone. Too bad, I really like glass screen protectors, but I don't think that it's possible on the S6.
I used illumishield for the Surface pro 3 and it was perfect so I tried it for the S6 and it is almost perfect. You have to get it on exactly in order to avoid the halo effect but it works and it works well.
Yep. The key is to do the installation properly. It takes time to master it but its worth it.
