Anyone know where .ttf fonts are installed to when installing from an .apk? I need the whole path, if you know it.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I never did get it figured but on another thread, someone was able to extract the .ttf from the .apk and I'm up and running!
Made an awesome AOSP ROM even more AWESOMER!
Thanks for your time & answer. As you can see from the thread length, not been much interest in an answer!

Hello, how can I rename a thread within the new forums. I used to only have to double click on the title but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Thank you
Never mind, figured it out, you now have to edit the post and then click the "Go Advanced" button. You can then edit the title.
Thank you
Please Note XDA Assist Mission as outlined in Bold Text and also by the 2 Sticki Posts.
The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.

You should know to ask the question in About XDA forum.
If you edit the OP of the said thread, The title will appear and you can change it.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-7-7 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-7-7/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

Hello again,
We cannot provide technical support nor should other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. Please ask your question in the Galaxy Tab forum as suggested earlier.
Once again, good luck!

Can anyone help with editing settings.apk? I want to remove some elements from it and couldn't find any helpful thread for that. Thanks!

XDA Assist is for new members to learn the way around the website, not for senior members who should know their way around. You need to decompile it using apktool, do what you want, and then recompile it. Also, try to find VTS (Virtuous Ten Studio) as that will help too. Good luck!
So I posted this earlier at this link, http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/modding-101-devices-care-t3434616 I have yet to get any reponses. I just need to find a thread or section that explains in detail how to modify my device. Thanks in advance.
