I'm currently running clean rom on my transformer and it's very nice. However, I just put a rom on my phone that is pure android but with a lot of the AOKP tweaks/options. Is there any Rom for the transformer that would be comparable? Thanks for the time to answer this.
There are several. Look through the development section.

Also, make sure that the ROM is compatible with your bootloader. :good:
ex 4.1 bootloader = 4.1 ROM.
ex 4.2 bootloader = 4.2 ROM.

Okay guys hear me out, sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forums, I'm currently rooted on the stock build I believe, my specs are as follows: Build Number: JROO3C.WW_epad-10.4.2.13-20120907. Android Version: 4.1.1. I rooted to remove bloatware, and whatnot, but now I want to overclock, and it can't be done with the kernal I have I guess, Stock rom doesn't support it, So I'm on a quest to find a working rom for my build that has been tested and working properly, I have the TWRP recovery I think it's called. And if you haven't guessed my device is Asus TF300T. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll be around waiting for a response, so if you need any other question answered or need more info I'll be around, Thanks for all the help.

SO your TF300T is unlocked ?
Apparently, you have the TWRP recovery.
And you want a rom that can overclock ?
So you have several roms, but the best you can do, it's to click to my sig > index for the TF300t, and you will find all roms based on stock and others based on Cyanogen.
The best thing that you can do is to read a little, choose 2 or 3 roms that you find interesting, and try one after one (one week per rom) and you will choose the best rom for you. It will be your choice.

Yes it's unlocked, and thanks, going to try the Hydro rom I suppose. Are the Cyanogen roms compatible with what I'm running? TWRP and Stock JB?

Hydro ROM does not have CPU OC, I think jb blue and [email protected] has overclock. Latest CM 10 is compatible with jellybean boot loader and latest TWRP.

FYI there is no such thing as a good ROM for overclocking as it is the kernel not the ROM that does the overclocking. All the kernels are in the original android development section and are on the first page of that section.

I am running Liquidsmooth's RC1. They are releasing their update soon,
Does anyone have a favorite TW based ROM? I am looking for one based on 4.2. I also heard the international 4.2.1 has been leaded. Has anyone tried creating a ROM based on this release? The TW ROMs just look nices than the AOSP despite all the unnecessary features that are loaded.
The international version of the s 3 has different hardware then the US versions making the leak difficult to port. Also there isn't any TW 4.2 ROMs for this phone as Samsung is working on 4.1.2. Lastly we at XDA have realized that what works for one person doesn't work for others so it is best to check out the ROMs yourself and see what works best for YOU.
Hello:
first, thank you developers and modders for you amazing work.
I've been searching around the forums for a Stock Android ROM (ICS based, for Xperia Miro), without luck.
Is there a true Stock Android ICS for our Xperias? and when i say stock i mean something like the Nexus experience (stock dialer, notification bar, etc without Sony's mods except maybe the device drivers)
Best Regards

Try Nexus Xperia by Shivang Dave in Dev forums. It's JB based, and gives nearly pure AOSP experience. I know you asked for ICS, but there isn't such rom for Miro. It's just not worth for mods and devs to stick to ICS...
CyanogenMod has really close to stock experience, but it has its cons... I'd go for Shivang's rom.

I'm 99% sure that Shivang Dave posted a pure untouched stock ROM.

Thank you for your honest and well explained answer.
Unfortunately, my Miro's bootloader is locked, and that's why i was asking for a ICS stock based ROM, since i can´t upgrade it to JB ( AFAIK, please correct me if i'm wrong)

Hi
I am new in this forum so bare with me I have had the Asua transtormer infinity tf700t since it came out in 2012. It ia 100% stock with the android 4.2.1 intalled. I dont think i runs as well as it had done running on the earlier android versions. I just got a hold on a Asus nexus 7, also 100% stock on android 4.4.2, whch runs much better. I know that the nexux diveces are running smooth, but i think that a transformer tf700t can run much better then it does now. I am thinking about trying a costum rom wich i think will run much better. But I am not sure if there is a very good rom out there yet. Is there a rom where everything is working fot the tf700t like bluetooth, wifi, sound, camera, mic and alle the other stuff??? It is also very importent for me that the dock is working like it should and the usr of a external sd card in both the tablet itselve and the dock!
The only reson that I consider using another rom is that I dont think it is running as it could. I have tried doing a factory reset mant times...
Is there a good rom outthere yet or should I wait???? Which one should I use if there are a good one?????
PS I am not an advanced user, but I doo know how to use a computer and follow a guide Apparently I am not that good at English eighter...

I'm pretty sure once you run a custom rom you are going to kick yourself you waited this long
A ROM for "everything works like stock including all dock functions only much, much better": CROMi-X 5.4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425383
A KitKat ROM: CM11
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957660
CyanogenMod ROMs are developed from the ground up and then forked for specific devices. Since they don't use Asus firmware they have to use generic drivers for keyboard etc. Expect some bugs but most things work. Check their thread for current issues
Another KitKat ROM: CROMBi-KK
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2672751
Two weeks young, a hybrid of CROMi-X and CM11 on CM11 base. It's still in beta, so there are bugs
For your first custom rom I would recommend CROMi-X. Read the OP of it's thread very carefully and then browse through it. To read it all you need to take a few days off
And finally here are some instructions how to flash them: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688891

I would +1 the CROMi-X option. Am running it with the hunds kernel that is available in the install sequence, it beautiful
I was on Dev Preview. Loved it. Then i couldnt wait for 5.0 image. Flashed it yesterday. I want AOSP back. Im thinking of flashing the r5 version "q" that has been compiled by a few devs. But, i have read that radio and bootloader matter, especially if one goes "backwards". Now, i would like to know if there are prerequisites if one wishes to go from stock lollipop back to AOSP. Thanks.
