Warning! Camera Failed . - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hi my camera app is not working, everytime I open it it says "Warning! camera failed" I did delete the data/cache of the app I did a factory data reset twice and flashed another room just in case now Im running a stock room deodexed, I dont know what else could I try by the way my phone is rooted and this problem started when I installed and started using an app "Pro capture" but I deleted it now but I still get warning message it pops up everytime I open the stock camera app, is there a solution?

Odin a stock rom and start over and don't use that camera app

OK since you are out of options, try this.
On a stock ROM dial *#34971539#
Try "phone to cam firmware write"
If that does not work, report back

This may or may not work but you can try this.
Download this
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28444538/CAMFW/SGS2_Camera_Firmware.rar
Now there should be a lot of firmware files in there. Make sure that SDEH0D is in there. Now, pick a file OTHER THAN SDEH0D.
rename the .bin file to RS_M5LS.bin place it on INTERNAL SD CARD and do phone to cam firmware write.
This will write the wrong firmware to your camera. Reboot.
At this point the camera should not work. Now, repeat the above procedure using the correct SDEH0D file.
This well rewrite the correct firmware. Reboot and your cam may work. If not, its probably hardware issue.
EDIT: the firmware write takes 3-5 minutes so be patient..

[Q] Market Cannot Download Apps

I just unlocked the bootloader and rooted my Nexus S. I flashed Cyanogen 7 and it worked fine. I later flashed to Blandroid and then my market was not working properly. I tried to reflash the gapps but it didn't work. I tried flashing to stock, it didn't work. I tried wiping everything, clearing caches, etc, nothing is working.
When I try to download an app it says, "download was unsuccessful, please try again." HOWEVER, if I go to the Android Market website, I can install apps to my phone fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
same problem here, solution would be great. I can't download anything from the market.
install this app and then start it hit the menu button and select Use WiFi or Download using Mobile network-depend what u want to use.
It should help u
Wouldn't install
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Go to manage applications > market > uninstall updates. That should fix it.

Already tried that. One person said I should try reformatting the usb storage. What do you think?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App

I've just extracted this app from my sys so I'm not sure if will work for u or not.

Something up with the stock SU on this build.
Some people are saying that they simply updated the SU binary and fixed it.
I downloaded SuperSU from the Play Store. Installed it. Opened it. Let it update. Then disabled the stock SU.
Worked like a charm

I've had this issue also, but changing the app I use didn't help...going to redo everything tomorrow but instead of going from entropy's build to 4.2...going to take the extra step of going to 4.1 first...only thing I haven't tried and from what I saw in another thread it worked, so hopefully that's all it is...will post when I try it but figured I'd pass on what I saw in another thread here
After going to the 4.1build first, I haven't had a single issue...

Setting -> Apps (under Device) or... From your home screen hit Menu button -> Manage Apps.
Then swipe over until you see All at the top of the screen.
From there, when you click any App, you can disable, uninstall (not stock apps, typically), clear App Cache, etc. You'll see
I usually kill things like browser (I use Chrome and FF), stock gallery(I flash Photosphere), and some wallpaper choices and things I don't use.

I'm having the same issue. It downloads successfully, boots into recovery, the progress bar gets maybe a third of the way, and then the icon changes to one that makes me think its an error, then it aborts and reboots, there's no message or anything. I used to be rooted, but not anymore (used superSU unroot)

Yes. Though I unfroze before unrooting. I just disabled some system apps (with the builtin thing) I'll try reenabling everything
Re-enabled all the bloatware, no luck.

i have read all posts i can read in 30 hours, i have read people who fixed just updating google maps, desactivating location services, etc... but i have done a lot of things and changed like 15 roms, im looking for a froyo FULL STOCK kernel to my infuse but i cant find it
ok, i have partially solved the problem..
this is how, if you have a stock rom of Froyo or Gingerbread:
You can dial at dial pad *#34971539# and then click in "Phone to CAM FW Write"
As i Read in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1710010&page=2
if you have a Custom Rom of JB, ICS or another louncher you can write the camera Firmware following this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=951636
Thanks all,
Last Thing, now when i open my camera got a black screen, like if my camera is not working, if i change to video or change back to front camera starts working again, and i can go back to take my picture with back Camera, do you have any idea what can i do now?

not so fast, the camera only worked like 10 minuts after i did this, got the warning again.. please could you help me! ((
Okay, here's what I'd recommend:
Take out your external SD card.
Put your phone into download mode and flash jscott30's return to stock (root) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27283140&postcount=1
Once done, test out your camera.
If it's working okay, shut down the phone and put the SDcard back in.
Test again.
If possible, stick with the rom for a day. Also, make sure you flash a kernel with CWM!
If all is good after a day and you want to move up to 4.2, remove the external SD card before flashing anything. You can put it back in once you're done flashing.
thanks, i sold it

now i solved this problem, i flashed back to 2.3.5 rooted and deleted tethering manager... but now i have worst problems, when i was in jb i deleted a bunch of apps (i think system apps incluided) trying to solve this problem, now im having same error each 2 or 3 seconds, i cant open memos, calendar, gtalk, market, i cant open any aplication, im always getting same error
"Sorry! Unfortunately, google services framework, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped. Please Try Again."
when i open titanium aplication i can see down all the application i deleted but they are in grey and i cant restore any of them
Please help me!
Odin flash your stock 2.3.5 and delete cache & data/ factory reset before and after the flash.
Then root.
Then restore only the apps you downloaded from app store using titanium backup. Don't restore any system apps.
Do some homework on deleting the tethering system provision app because that error means it has other dependencies most likely.
