[Q]Charging [SPH-D720]

Okay well last night I was having trouble charging my phone while at my uncles an thought it was just the charger I was using cause the cord was messed up but when I was driving home my phone died and when I got home I found that my phone would no longer charge I tried 5 different chargers switching between normal wall chargers, USB Power Cord with my computer (USB Debugging will not recognize either) an then I tried 1 last one an it charged long enough so that it would stay alive and I got it up to about 50% then unplugged it cause I thought it was fixed but then it got down to 15% and I plugged it back in an it would no longer charge so I waited for it to die and waited an let it charge fully now here I am again and it will not charge again does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? I have tried all the normal stuff to try an fix it such as battery out reset holding every combination of keys letting it fully die an charge.
TLR I have a Nexus S 4G Model SPH-D720 with JB 4.1.1 and it will not charge unless it fully dies then only picks up the charge for the first charger plugged in then if it gets unplugged will not work again.
I've spent a while searching and would like to know if there are any fixes as I will not be able to visit Sprint tomorrow or Monday so it's not the greatest situation for me.
If still under warranty try to get a replacement. You can see if its your battery being the issue as well.
You won the price for world longest sentence.

Will Sprint still take back a rooted phone? If so yes my phone is still under warranty.
Also now all it'll do is boot as soon as I plug it in an as it finishes booting up it just instantly says connect to charger (While still connected) and sometimes the touchscreen will work but most of the time it will not
It's a Nexus, and even if its not, I dont see why root means you lose warranty. It's clearly a hardware issue.
You can use fastboot to flash original firmware, but that won't work in this case since you can't keep it turned on.

N8013 Charging stuck at 0% - motherboard problem?

I've had this 8013 for a while and have hardly used it. Softbricked my Nexus 7 (bootloop, cant get to fastboot mode, but thats another story), so started up my 8013.
Somehow the screen on the 8013 stayed on and discharged the battery.
After connecting the charger (Samsung OEM charger and OEM cable) the status was: 0% Charging.
Have read (most) of the charging related posts on XDA and have not been able to revive my tablet.
I requested the Samsung Service Center to replace the battery, but they claim this is a motherboard problem.
I factory reset it - didn't help.
I used a rooting app and wiped the battery stats but that didn't help either.
So, is there any hope of fixing the 8013 (its out of warranty as I bought it from the US (refurbished) and the local Service Center will have nothing to do with it).
Solved / Workaround
I noticed the charger was getting warm, but cooled down after a while.
I left the charger connected for a day.
My guess was that the OS was seeing the battery charge at 0% and shutting the system down.
I fixed this by using
[MOD][XPOSED][2.3+] DisableCriticalBatteryShutdown - v1.0 [ABANDONED]
to disable the shutdown feature. With this installed the tablet has worked for more than 30 minutes now. Hopefully I can recalibrate the battery, if not, I'll just have to use it as long as I think it would be safe without killing it.

HELP!!!! Fixing battery charging problem

Hello,
I went out last Friday and came home late. My phone is out of battery and dead. I plugged it in and woke up the next day with a dead phone. Apparently, there is a bug with the OPO. If the battery is too low, it won't even charge after you plug it in for charging. I have tried all tricks and even contact the OPO Tech Support Team. This thread describes how horrible they are:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/tech-support-onepluse-one-horrible-t3084022
I am at my wit's end. I have tried all the the tricks. This is a thread that I found that seems to have the same problem as I have.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/oneplusone-phone-dead-t3079256
The only choice I have left is to open the phone, disconnect the battery connection and reconnection it again. Hoping it will recharge. However, there is a warranty sticker and I don't want OPO to deny my warranty. I am not new to Android and I have fixed phones before. I also think of buying a new OPO battery and switch it with the factory one. Since the new battery will be charged, I think that will work in fixing it. But, doing that is much more complicate and it requires me to remove more components. If you have a good working solution for my problem, please help.
NOTE: please don't ask me to check my charger or use a different one. I check it 1000 times already. The original charger works, the cable works. I use different chargers and cables. Same result.
Thank you for your help.
Have you rooted and unlocked? I had the same problem when I got mine at first. It would show charging but never fully charge. 73% was all it would do. So after rooting and flashing a custom kernel the problem went away. Now I can go back to stock and the problem has never comeback. Maybe just a small software glitch or something. I'm just happy it's gone!

The phone is unlocked and rooted. The issue is not fully charged or not. The issue here is the phone does not charge after the battery die. The phone is dead because I let the battery run to 0. When I plug it to recharge, the low battery screen does not even come up. The phone is dead and refuse to recharge. There is no issue with the charger or the charging cable. I have checked it several time already. I am very frustrated with OPO Tech Support right now.
I see. Only other thing I can think of is try holding the power button for 60 seconds while it's plugged in. That does suck man.
I had similar issue, my conclusion is the bootloader charging function is broken.
Basically I would start the charging, it would charge for about 10 seconds or so, and then stop. I thought my battery was dead.
I couldnt boot the os as wasnt enough charge.
So eventually I just kept repeating the process, 10 seconds charge at a time, and eventually had enough juice to boot android and after that point it charged to full ok.
Never had this issue on any of my samsung phones.
Also to point out when it went dead it was plugged into my pc usb at the time with twrp loaded.

Nokia 3 have a very good ,new battery protection ! How it works: When you put the phone to charger and You still use the phone, the temperature of the battery is increasing and the sensor trigged the protection. From this moment the battery will not be charged UNTIL THE TEMPERATURE BECOME NORMAL ! After that the charging process continue to 100%.
It's a very SMART Phone !

Phone not charging

So I have an xperia c4 for almost 3 years now running oficial firmware.
Yesterday my phone stopoed charging, my pc recognise's it, so I am assuming that it's not the usb port that has the problem.
I was able to get a full charge by slaping the phone on the back for a bit until it started charging, but it doesn't seem to work again.
Could it be the battery? It was dying recently anyways, but it's around 50% now, I mean that the phnone will boot up and function properly but it won't charge anymore.
